Chapter 469: Chapter 469: Poaching, Andy takes advantage of the situation

Andy swore to the gods that he was being truthful.

Dumbledore had indeed told Andy to keep the Malfoy business a secret.

Andy had simply left out part of the story.

As for the divination, there was not a single false word in it. No matter who Snape asked for confirmation, they would all give the same answer.

It was just a matter of the timing being wrong.

And that had led to... Snape becoming a little agitated.

Snape has been in a bad mood lately because he is lost on the path of life.

Snape wants to resurrect Lily, but after witnessing everything in the Death Chamber, he finds he cannot bear the consequences of resurrecting Lily.

Since ancient times, whether in the wizarding world or the muggle world, the resurrection of the dead has always been a legend.

No one can truly resurrect from the dead.

Voldemort did not really die; he merely lost his body, but his soul survived.

During this time, Snape has been torn between 'reviving his lover' and 'the safety of the world'. He is very confused and does not know how he should choose.

Until today, when Harry has run into trouble.

Voldemort bypassed Snape and asked Peter Pettigrew to infiltrate Hogwarts and check on Harry.

This is a dangerous sign for Snape.

Harry has a secret.

But Voldemort doesn't want Snape to know the secret.

So it definitely isn't Lily's protective charm.

Snape is a clever man, and he isn't unaware of the crux of the problem; he just dares not think in that direction.

Because that would be too cruel for Harry!

The Horcrux was created from the divided soul; Voldemort, whose body was destroyed by the rebound of the curse; and Harry – whenever he saw Voldemort's power or presence, the scar on his forehead would ache.

The clues were actually very obvious.

Anyone who knew how to create a Horcrux could more or less guess the truth.

And what had happened last night confirmed this.

Snape was a little angry and a little sad.

Reviving his love and the safety of the world.

Protecting Harry and defeating Voldemort.

He had to choose between the two.

He knew which option was right, but that option was too cruel. For Harry, and For Snape... that option was cruel.

As for Andy's divination result...

Snape had actually guessed the truth.

Without a doubt, that was the scene when Voldemort was resurrected.

"Collins..."

Snape hesitated, but he swallowed the words.

Either way, Snape didn't want to choose.

He still held onto a glimmer of hope because Dumbledore had promised to keep the child safe.

Andy shrugged and said in a slightly relieved tone, "That's about it... But divinations are just that. What you see with your eyes can sometimes deceive you."

After a pause, Andy got up and said, "Professor, if there's nothing else, I'll go eat first."

Snape's eyes were slightly closed, and he nodded slightly and imperceptibly.

Andy didn't care when he saw this.

It was obvious that Snape was in pain.

To be honest, this was a perfect time to take advantage of the situation.

If Andy pushed a little harder, he might be able to drive a wedge between Snape and Dumbledore and form an alliance with Snape, the master potion maker.

But Snape wanted too much!

He wanted to resurrect Lily and also get rid of Voldemort without hurting Harry.

Andy couldn't do both.

Especially the latter, Andy had no way of doing that.

Harry was Voldemort's Horcrux, and if you wanted to kill Voldemort, you had to kill Harry first.

Saving Harry...that's hard!

Just as he reached the door, Andy suddenly thought of a way.

"Professor..."

Andy looked back at Snape. "Dementors can devour human souls, but... it's hard to control these monsters."

"But this is indeed a good method... isn't it?"

"Maybe we can look into it."

Snape's eyes lit up at this.

Indeed, if Harry really is Voldemort's Horcrux, then it is only a half-finished product because the magic of the Horcrux does not protect Harry's body.

If the Dementor can distinguish between Harry and Voldemort's residual soul, then theoretically, the Dementor can strip 'Voldemort's residual soul' out of Harry's body.

"Professor..."

Andy winked as if everything could be understood, "Then I'll leave this to you."

After saying that, Andy pulled open the office door and walked out.

Taking advantage of a weakness... Andy still couldn't resist the temptation.

Originally, Andy had wanted to research the Dementor on his own, and even the Portkey to Azkaban was ready.

But if someone could share the work... that would save Andy a lot of time.

Back in the great hall, Hermione immediately came over and asked in a secretive manner, "Did Professor Snape come to see you about last night?"

"Mm-hm!" Andy answered.

Andy was in a very good mood.

As long as the hoe is swung well, no corner cannot be dug.

It was really satisfying to dig into Dumbledore's corner!

"What did the professor say?" Hermione asked curiously.

"He's not sure."

Andy said with his hands spread out, "The professor may contact Voldemort to get some information from him!"

Hermione sighed, "I really hope this will all be over soon."

Who wouldn't!

Andy sighed too.

If he could, Andy would also like to study magic quietly!

But then again, without Voldemort, some things would still be difficult. It was precisely because Voldemort was in front of him that Andy could take advantage of the situation.

The so-called bringing the traitor to one's side...ahem!

The so-called crisis and opportunity coexist, and this is the truth.

***

"Dementors..."

Although Andy had left, his words before he left were deeply engraved in Snape's heart.

Dementors can absorb souls!

Without a doubt, these words gave Snape new hope.

If they could control the abilities of the Dementor, they could easily solve Harry's problem.

To be honest, Snape does not like Harry and even hates him because Harry looks a lot like his father, except for his eyes, which look like his mother's.

But that didn't stop him from wanting to protect Lily's son.

Snape opened the desk drawer and took out a spell book.

'The Truth About Death and Hell'

It was a book Snape had borrowed from Malfoy Manor, and he had only read half of it. After returning from the Death Chamber, Snape had never looked at the book again.

But now...

Snape's hope had been rekindled.
