Chapter 31: Chapter 31 Magic is Andy’s dream

Upon hearing the explosion, Andy wasn't fussing as much as he was last class.

He calmly turned his head to look, only to see Seamus with his wand in his hand, his whole body frozen in place, the table in front of him still had the black smoke from the explosion.

Seamus, you're a real talent!

This was not Andy being conspiratorial, from an academic point of view, Seamus' situation is indeed very special.

The reason why this happened when Seamus cast his spells was perhaps because his magic power was not stable enough, or perhaps he was too impatient inside when casting his spells.

Of course, it was also possible that he simply liked explosions, thus affecting his magic power.

These three situations, no matter which one; were all well worth studying.

It was a pity that Andy and Seamus were not even nodding acquaintances, so naturally, he was not in a position to rashly inquire about Seamus' mental state.

Andy glanced at Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall reprimanded Seamus very sternly for a few moments and then gave Seamus a new match.

Andy thought in his heart, 'It seems that in Professor McGonagall's eyes, this situation of Seamus is not considered special.'

Professor McGonagall had been teaching for decades and could be considered to have seen a lot. Since she didn't care about Seamus, did that mean that Seamus' situation was actually quite normal in the magical world?

Andy withdrew his gaze and pressed down the idea of slicing Seamus up.

After all, Azkaban is not a serious academy.

Until the end of class, Andy had been secretly keeping an eye on Seamus' side.

Since the explosion occurred when casting the spell and being reprimanded by Professor McGonagall, Seamus' whole being had wilted a lot.

He seemed to be a bit afraid to cast spells, and only when Professor McGonagall's gaze turned to him, he would hold his wand and pretend to gesture a few times.

Not only that, Andy also noticed two interesting things in this class - Ron and Neville.

Both of their wands were old wands that someone else had used.

Although it was difficult to observe too much information in one class, Andy still keenly realized that Ron and Neville's spell-casting was not smooth.

Especially Neville, who looked only a little bit better than a Squib.

The two of them were already not confident enough, and this phenomenon of not casting spells smoothly would even aggravate this lack of confidence.

Andy could even see through their future at a glance!

Under this vicious cycle, the two of them would definitely be at the bottom of the wizarding world in their adulthood.

Yet this was not the case.

Although Andy had only seen the first Harry Potter film, he had more or less heard of the names Neville and Ron.

They were the key supporting characters of Harry Potter, and their future could never be too mediocre.

'But how is that possible?' Andy analysed secretly.

Moreover, Andy was also puzzled as to why the Sorting Hat had assigned Neville to Gryffindor.

Ron had already proved himself in the game of chess level in the film, that he dared to self-sacrifice for the sake of justice.

But what about Neville?

Andy frowned.

If the Sorting Hat was never wrong, could it have sorted Neville into Gryffindor in the hope that Gryffindor's courage would influence Neville so that he would find his self-confidence?

The more he studied magic, the more Andy realized that many factors could affect the success rate of spellcasting, and a good mindset is one of the most important.

More and more examples could prove that Andy's current research direction is correct.

Mind and magic were inseparable from each other!

At three twenty, the Transfiguration class ended.

Andy and Hermione walked towards the abandoned classroom on the fifth floor.

Andy glanced somewhat suspiciously at Hermione beside him, who looked as if she was a little upset.

"What's wrong?" Andy asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nothing."

Hermione said, "I just feel terrible that I'm so far behind."

In Transfiguration class, even though she had made some changes to the matches and had progressed far beyond the other young wizards, she still didn't feel very satisfied.

Andy smiled in amusement and said, "Before going to school, I practised magic at home for more than a month. Your talent is already far more than other young wizards."

However, such words did not comfort Hermione one bit.

When Hermione felt that she was 'far worse', Andy finally saw what it means to be crazy.

For three days in a row, Hermione either practised magic in the abandoned classroom or went to the library to read books. After the library closed, she studied in the Ravenclaw common room until late at night.

She gave up almost all of her leisure time, simply crazier than Andy's senior year of high school in his previous life.

Of course, this desperate study drive of Hermione's had likewise affected Andy.

Andy is extremely obsessed with magic, and this obsession is by no means something that anyone in this world can understand.

Even Hermione was no different.

Although Hermione came from the muggle world where there was no magic, she had, after all, been exposed to magic at the age of eleven, and her most basic worldview had not yet been developed.

Andy, on the other hand, had grown up in a world without magic, and his mundane life had caused Andy to fantasize about those mysterious side powers from time to time.

And now, magic is Andy's dream!

Learning alone may be a bit tedious after a long time.

But when there is a person with you, you will feel that the tediousness is actually not unbearable.

Especially Andy and Hermione are the kind of people who love to learn, instead of letting them feel tedious, learning will make them feel happy.

Two people, that's double the joy.

No matter what, loli is much more pleasant to the eye than the three brats in the dormitory.

Andy had long been impatient to deal with them.

No adult would make friends with a kid, but cute Loli is an exception.

***

Saturday morning, Andy and Hermione were eating in the Great Hall.

Flutter!

A flock of owls flew in through the windows of the Great Hall, they flew over the long tables and threw things from their talons to the young wizard who was required to collect them.

"Why are there more for me?" Andy frowned slightly as he picked up a letter that had fallen through the air.

The letter back from home had been received back on Wednesday, and Andy hadn't written home in the last two days, much less shopped at Diagon Alley.

"You forgot?"

Hermione stole a few glances around as she cocked her head near Andy and lowered her voice, "Maybe it was Malfoy."

Right! The last two days had been so full of study that Andy had long forgotten about it.

Andy opened the envelope, the letter was unsigned, but it was indeed Malfoy's handwriting.

Andy opened the letter and was about to read it when he saw Hermione quickly stand up and look around, trying to look out for Andy, startling Andy into pulling her back.

"Idiot! You look so sneaky, a fool would know we have a secret."

Andy read the letter with a big smile while pointing out, "Eat! Just do what you normally do, and don't look around, it's just a regular letter back."
