Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Awakening of Abilities
Two weeks had passed since the warning from the blond delinquent.
During these two weeks, the trio of Hamazaki Reina repeatedly tried to approach Qingqiu. To ensure his safety, Qingqiu disregarded basic etiquette, immediately fleeing whenever the three came within three meters of him.
When he couldn't avoid them, he either skipped class or took leave.
In fact, Qingqiu had considered becoming a shut-in, never leaving his room for life.
Compared to the tragic fate of the troubled protagonist, staying indoors forever didn't seem too bad.
However, it would only cause trouble for the Takamine family that had taken him in, serving no real purpose.
Thanks to Qingqiu's relentless efforts, the past two weeks had been relatively calm. The delinquent had kept his word and didn't cause any more trouble.
One evening, Qingqiu walked home alone, muttering to himself, "Nothing went wrong today. Maybe this ordeal is finally over..."
The troubled protagonist template didn't activate constantly; much like an anime plot, there were periods of calm after each incident.
If not, Qingqiu wouldn't have made it this far.
Unfortunately, his lack of strength meant he couldn't break free from these ordeals, and even avoiding them was extremely difficult.
The peace didn't last long. After just a week, Qingqiu faced another crisis.
When softer methods failed, they resorted to force. Hamazaki Reina and her friends found an opportunity to corner Qingqiu.
Seeing no escape, Qingqiu could only raise his hands with a wry smile. "Reina, what exactly do you see in me? I'll change if I can."
"Hmph, it's not something you can change just by saying so."
Reina stepped forward, a faint green light flashing in her emerald eyes. "Yukina, Ruri, yes, he can help us."
"Time is running out; we can't let him escape this time."
"Are we really doing it here?"
The three of them looked around. The school wasn't the most suitable place, but if Qingqiu didn't cooperate, they couldn't take him away.
"The grove?"
"It's summer now; I don't want to feed the mosquitoes."
"..."
After a brief discussion, the three girls turned their gaze back to Qingqiu.
Reina looked at Qingqiu with annoyance, "Uesugi, aren't you a man? You agreed last time, but then you backed out and have been avoiding us."
Qingqiu remained unmoved. If it weren't for the threat to his life, he'd certainly let her find out firsthand whether he was a man or not.
Sasaki Yukina leaned in close to Qingqiu's ear, her voice both complaining and tempting, "Uesugi, let me tell you a secret. The three of us are actually all first-timers. You won't lose anything by being with us."
Qingqiu felt a jolt in his heart, his blood rushing downward, making Little Qingqiu restless.
But he managed to resist in the end.
The three girls exchanged glances and came to a decision.
"So you're not completely uninterested in us. Why haven't you agreed?"
"Did someone threaten you after you suddenly stopped coming to school?"
"Or is there some other reason? We can help you solve it."
They weren't foolish; they could see that Qingqiu had his reasons.
Qingqiu shook his head helplessly, "No, really no, please just let me go."
He couldn't explain the whole "troubled protagonist" template situation. Even if he ratted out the delinquent, he didn't dare to actually confront him. So, he kept quiet, hoping to offend the delinquent less.
No matter how much they talked, it didn't work, and Reina, along with the other two, became frustrated.
"Fine, we didn't want to use this method, but since you're being so stubborn, don't blame us."
While Qingqiu was still puzzled, Sasaki Yukina moved in close, and then he felt a sharp pain at the back of his head, sending his consciousness into darkness.
Kurumizaka Ruri caught the limp Qingqiu just in time and asked worriedly, "Yukina, did you control your strength?"
"Don't worry, I only used the strength of an ordinary person."
Looking at the swelling bump on Qingqiu's head, Kurumizaka Ruri hesitated to speak.
Never mind, as long as he's still breathing, it shouldn't be a major issue.
The three of them carried the unconscious Qingqiu out of the school, discussing as they went.
"Should we go to a love hotel or...?"
"For my first time, I don't really want to use a love hotel, and we don't know how long it will take."
"That's true..." Kurumizaka Ruri nodded her pointed chin. "Let's go to my house. I'm the only one home for the next few days."
"Okay." ×2
---
At the Kurumizaka residence.
In the bedroom.
"Reina, is he tied up?"
"Yes, do we need to give him some medicine?"
"No need, look, he's already like this."
"Wow, I didn't expect Uesugi to have something quite decent despite looking so thin and weak."
"Ruri, stop getting excited. Wake Uesugi up quickly."
"Huh? You're the one who knocked him out. How should I know how to wake him up?"
"It doesn't matter; he's already ready to go."
"By the way, can you really stay ready even when unconscious?"
"Never mind, who's going first?"
Qingqiu's eyebrow twitched, his mouth twisting as he realized he couldn't keep pretending.
He had woken up when his clothes were being stripped off, originally hoping to feign unconsciousness to escape this ordeal, but unfortunately, Little Qingqiu wouldn't cooperate.
With a gentle touch, it was already standing at attention.
Seeing that he had to act now to avoid the full consequences of the troubled protagonist template, he made one last attempt.
"Wait a minute!"
Looking at the three voluptuous girls before him, Qingqiu smiled wryly, "Could you untie the ropes? For the first time, I'd like to be a bit more proactive. I promise I won't run."
"Heh, no way."
Reina sneered. They weren't fools; Qingqiu had clearly been pretending to be unconscious before. Now, with only one step left, there was no way they'd give him another chance.
"Then before that, could you tell me why you've been so focused on me?"
There were many other girls who confessed to Qingqiu, but only these three were willing to use force if necessary.
"We'll tell you after we verify... Ah, Yukina, why did you go in before me?" Reina's tone suddenly changed, complaining.
"It's fine; it's not like you're losing anything." Sasaki Yukina sank deeper. "Hmm... It hurts a little, but it does feel quite good."
Qingqiu's expression changed, a surge of tingling pleasure from Little Qingqiu rushed to his brain.
The die was cast, and he silently closed his eyes, resigned to his fate.
However, at that moment, a strange voice echoed in Qingqiu's mind.
[Ding, talent detected: Physical Activation]
[Beginning replication...]
After a brief moment of surprise, Qingqiu felt the gloom in his heart lift.
Finally... he finally saw hope for escaping the troubled protagonist aura.
As expected of the darker world, even activating a cheat was unique.
He cursed himself for not realizing his cheat earlier, living like a dog for the past month—no, worse than a dog.
Had he followed his instincts like a dog, he would have discovered his cheat long ago.
After mentally berating himself, Qingqiu examined the information in his mind.
[Name: Su Qingqiu] ★
[Talent: None]
[Skills: None]
The information was simple, just three lines, with everything but his name blank.
Qingqiu noticed the star next to his name.
He tried focusing on the star, and it surprisingly formed a new virtual screen.
