You have the tools to live as a hidden existence. You have an energy field and a visualization technique. This is the most important aspect of your hidden existence. Once your mortal body has turned to ash. You will need to finally rely on the foundation we have built. But there is one thing you truly lack!

That is...

Auxiliary abilities!

What do I mean by this? These are various 'killing moves' that you have to create.

Let's say you saw a hidden existence that was just a body of fog. Any attacks you make just go right through it as if it isn't there. How do you deal with it?

The truth is. Thanks to the weirdness of these eldritch beings. They all have different weaknesses and powers. Different names and laws.

By grasping the target. You may be able to figure out some clues.

So in this stage. You will create your own 'killing moves'. That you can use against other hidden existences in combat. But you must remember. Fighting others isn't just based on who has the most flashy move. It is based on elemental damages and mental energy reserves, processing power and forbidden knowledge.

A weak hidden existence might become a being undefeatable in a universe with 'hidden rules' that supplement or have harmony with their law.

So let us begin.

Firstly. You have layers to each ability. These layers have a subtle effect on the potency.

Layer 0 = element

Layer 1 = name

Layer 2 = concept

Layer 3 = consumption

Layer 4 = grade

Layer 5 = cooldown

Layer 6 = range

Layer 7 = perk

Layer 8 = drawback

Layer 9 = duration

Every single layer is important and defines a set of constraints to the ability. Let us create an ability so you know what one would look like.

Name: Darkness Descend

Grade: Epic

Description: All those who are attacking the target will get a blind debuff.

This ability looks like this underneath the surface

Layer 0 = shadow

Layer 1 = Darkness Descend

Layer 2 = Harnessing the power of darkness to curse the enemy

Layer 3 = 1 STAGE

Layer 4 = Epic

Layer 5 = 1 hour

Layer 6 = conceptual

Layer 7 = Null

Layer 8 = Caster loses a random sense for 30 seconds

Layer 9 = 1 minute

So there are various elements.

Light

Shadow

Holy

Demonic

Energy

Wood

Fire

Earth

Metal

Water

There are rules to the elemental weaknesses.

The weaknesses might not work as intuitively as you would think.

Shadow == Light (Layer 3 and 4 decides the winner)

Holy == Demonic (Layer 3 and 4 decides the winner)

Wood <= Fire && Metal

Fire <= Water

Water <= Energy && Earth

Energy <= Earth

Metal <= Fire

Water controls fire. Fire melts metal. Metal breaks wood. Wood breaks earth. Earth absorbs water. Earth also grounds energy. Light creates shadows. Shadow show light. Light and spirituality creates holy. Shadow with spirituality creates demonic.

These elements all have their weaknesses.

Just like how I said that the human body is incredibly complex. Your avatar is also complex. Here is an example of what I call 'composition' of your avatar.

Let's say you are 'perfectly balanced'.

That would mean:

Light (10%)

Shadow (10%)

Holy (10%)

Demonic (10%)

Energy (10%)

Wood (10%)

Fire (10%)

Earth (10%)

Metal (10%)

Water (10%)

This would mean the energy particles that make up your avatar are perfectly balanced. This isn't as good as you might think. This means you have a 10% resistance to every elemental attack.

But it also means you take 90% of the damage from singular elemental attacks.

So if you are hit with a water attack. You will get hit by 90% of the damage. Or maybe even 80% if it hits a part of your body infused with both earth and fire.

But let's say your body composition is like this:

Light (0%)

Shadow (100%)

Holy (0%)

Demonic (0%)

Energy (0%)

Wood (0%)

Fire (0%)

Earth (0%)

Metal (0%)

Water (0%)

This would mean ALL shadow attacks are useless against you. No matter how legendary or how much mental energy a hidden existence uses or even the resonation of hidden rules. It won't work on you.

This even applies to fighting those of a higher level.

But it also means you have 0% resistance to other elemental attacks.

There is also the pain of elemental counters. So you'll take almost double the damage from light attacks or attacks with light in them like holy.

You must remember. Your body composition should be a secret and it isn't literally made of those elements. It is a conceptual body. This can sort of be like rock-paper-scissors in some cases.

Certain opponents you will be a great match against. Others not so much.

But remember. This doesn't only have an effect on your defense... It also affects your offense!

If your composition is 100% shadow for example. You will have to work twice as hard with half the results and even experience many times the cost of light abilities.

All in all. Hidden existence abilities often have nothing to do with the elements. These are normally low level things early on in your journey.

For example.

An S-Class hidden existence might focus on spatial/time attacks that your elemental protection won't have any influence on at all. They might even be able to shield their avatars in infinity. Meaning no matter how well you match against them. They are undefeatable.

In this stage. I want you to create your own 'killing move'. Make it legendary. I also want you to decide the composition of your avatar.
