Chapter 20: 16
With the Progenitor's death his essence—the Celestial's diseased body fluids seeped into the Earth and percolated through the planet's primeval surface, forever altering the Earth's evolutionary trajectory.
What should have happened millions of years later had happened, the mammals were evolving at an alarming rate, normally no being would be able to survive this let alone benefit from the celestial's essence but Earth had Gaia who with her connection with almost every lifeform (most being mammals and to some extent water life) ensured their well-being on the other Dinosaurs were not able to adapt leading to their deaths it wasn't like she didn't want to save it was just that she couldn't they were not connected to her but Set.
Though she tried to save them not all were saved, but they were still far from being extinct.
Humanity was still a distant thought as mammals had just started to evolve, albeit with something extraordinary.

(Ender's POV)
Finally, I was getting the hang of [Creation of All]. While creating complex metals like gold or divine materials was still beyond me, simpler blocks, prismarine, quartz, and dirt, were relatively easy. Iron was doable if I concentrated hard enough. Thought Acceleration turned out to be an absolute cheat, allowing me to practice and learn at lightning speed.
As I stepped out of the portal, an intense wave of heat hit me. Temperature Fluctuation Nullification kicked in, yet I still felt it. Strange. My attention was quickly drawn to three very powerful presences, each on par with Gaia and me.
The first figure was a giant, flaming monster who immediately reminded me of Surtur from Thor: Ragnarok. Except, well, he was smaller and more compact. He held a barrel made of ice—which somehow didn't melt and drank what looked like molten lava.
The second figure was humanoid, shining so brightly he practically resembled a walking lightbulb. He was watering plants with a pitcher, radiating a strange serenity. I didn't know anyone else was this invested in gardening, but I guess gods can be just as quirky as mortals. The grass turned into trees.
Then there was another man wearing a Viking helmet and a winter coat. Unlike Surtur, he emitted cold but on a MUCH lesser level, but he was only a little weaker, or it looked like he was.
He was sitting and drawing circles in the corner with a black cloud raining over him.
Gaia was sitting on her grass 'sofa' with Atum sleeping in her arms; we decided to name him Atum, which is related to him being God of the Sun and Creation. Yeah, my kid already has more divinities than me. But hey, give me time. I'll awaken more of mine, and so will he.
Surprisingly, becoming a father wasn't as difficult as I had feared. Several reasons were there though:
Gods don't produce waste, so...bless the heavens. There are no diaper changes; well, I made a lot of them, but they will not see the light unless I get married to a 'mortal' woman.
Atum doesn't cry. Well, not much. Gaia's aura is ridiculously calming, and if you were held by her all day, you wouldn't cry either. (Get your girl)
I'm an amazing father. No debate.
I've crafted everything Atum could need, divine baby clothes, a divine crib, and even toys. Though he's not old enough to play with them yet, they are ready.
He seems to be growing faster than I expected. Not by much, but enough to make me wonder if godly children grow differently. Or maybe it's just my imagination. Either way, I can't help but feel a sense of peace every time I look at him.
Back to the present. I focused on the three figures. Flaming Guy (I guess I know who he is) raised his barrel in greeting, sending a ripple of heat my way. Shiny Lightbulb Guy waved his pitcher enthusiastically, a few drops spilling out and making flowers bloom on contact. Meanwhile, Brooding Viking barely glanced up, his black rain cloud intensifying as he looked at me.
Gaia caught my eye and smiled, gently rocking Atum. "Ender, meet my brothers. Yahweh, Buri… and Surtur."
I blinked. Wait, Surtur?! The guy who throws around an apocalypse every weekend? I glanced back at Flaming Dude. He raised his barrel again.
"...Hello." I awkwardly waved my hand but he didn't understand the gesture and went back drinking.
I turn to Gaia, my voice low "But isn't he the apocalypse guy."
Surtur laughed, his voice a booming inferno. "Relax, Herobrine. I only burn sometimes."
Shiny Lightbulb Guy,—Yahweh, stepped forward, offering me the pitcher of magical water. "Peace, brother. I brought plants as a gift. Would you…" He handed me the sketchbook. "Designs for my upcoming project. Angels. I'm quite proud of them. Ignore the excess halos on some of them it's a prototype phase."
Before I could respond, Brooding Viking stood up, his raincloud coming to Yahweh; apparently, it was his. "I brought a gift too." He held up a bottle containing flickering green flames. "The Eternal Flame. A part of it."
My eyebrows shot up. "And Surtur let you have this?"
Buri's face flushed. "He practically threw it at me when I told him it was for Gaia."
Surtur roared his voice accusing. "You took it for exchange, you frost-covered fool!"
Gaia sighed as I tried not to laugh. Gods.
'I wonder if there was a similar reason why Sutur was hell-bent on destroying Asgard.' I joked mentally.
Soon, Surtur and the Viking Guy—Buri, who is Thor's great-grandfather started a brawl which forced Gaia to kick them to Muspelheim, not literally but using a portal, created by yours truly since I had coordinates of that place told by Gaia, I was able to open a portal easily, that place was similar to Netherworld maybe there will be a lot of gold there too? Or some special metal; who knows, I will explode in that place someday.
Yahweh had to go, too, since he was creating angels. I wonder if there will be some great war. From what I observed, he is like a dedicated artist or creator. I also gave some ideas I had in my mind from various fiction from previous worlds; since he is my brother-in-law, despite not being an elder god, he was also generous with his gifts too, the plants were no ordinary ones he gave.
Well, after they went, I started building the castle for my family; I wanted to build a small, cozy house but decided against it; I will save it for later.
[Creation of All] was giving me the feeling of the creative mode.
(Gaia)
My husband was building a beautiful place for us. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride; my man was able to master Creation in such a short time, even with the time difference in his realm. It was absurd.
*Giggle
"Atum, look at your father and how he is creating a castle for you," I said, lifting our new bundle of joy, whom I decided to name Atum.
Atum stretches his arms towards his father as if trying to replicate what he was doing which I am sure he will be able to do once he is old enough.
"Do you want to do what your father is doing?" Atum nods his head; he has always been an intelligent child. After all, he is our child.
'Family.' Her thoughts could not help but go towards her 'siblings', who were starting to succumb. She could feel it, but it didn't hurt her as she expected. Maybe it was due to Ender, who replaced family for him, or like her siblings, she also didn't care for them.
It wasn't like apart from Ender and Atum, she didn't have anyone else. There were some of her elder god siblings who, although they didn't meet her, like Toranus or Skrymir, she still considered as a part of her family, and she believed (hoped) the feeling was mutual.
While she didn't want classification in her family unfortunately it couldn't happen, there were Oshtur her lovely little sister who was gone to explore stars, Tiwaz who goes by the name Buri after he was lost in Jotunheim, is mischievous, and the bit knucklehead even though he is god of wisdom his...' friend' Surtur the fire giant a living embodiment of flames he is a walking apocalypse but he is surprisingly reasonable and generous.
Yahweh is a busy being; he tends to garden and creates things. Sometimes, he even forgets to come outside of Heaven. He gets lost too much in his creation.
I decided to take a walk around the newly created forests, taking Atum with me; I could tell he would be a very strong god in the future like his father; I will ensure he will be someone who will value his family and be a good big brother.
(Ender)
The castle's foundation was mostly done. At this rate, it would be fully built in a few days, or a week at most. But why wait when I could speed it up? I decided to bring in my loyal workforce: the Armor Knights.
And maybe… it was time to let my familiars out too. They'd been cooped up in the Overworld for too long, familiarizing themselves with their newly gained powers. Most of them were safe to release, only Chthon might think of targeting them. The rest of the Elder Gods weren't even worth worrying about. Weaklings, the lot of them.
Gaia, Oshtur, and Chthon were the only Elder Gods with actual power. Set? He was a joke when compared to stronger elder gods. Sure, his control over dinosaurs was annoying, but after I defeated him, that power became mine. Many of the dinosaurs are now chilling peacefully in the forests of the Overworld. The others, though? Completely corrupted. Irrational predators who kill for no reason other than bloodlust. Or, as I like to call them, Set's greatest contribution to being useless.
Anyway, time to call in the laborers. I summoned 200 of my Armor Knights, more than enough to finish the castle, and opened a portal to the Overworld. The goal? Bring over some of my pets.
(The Overworld Pet House)
The Overworld's pet house was chaos incarnate. I had to make another portal specifically for this because, let's be real, some of these creatures are a little… problematic.
Take the monkey, for example. When it was in the game, it was hilarious watching him pull tricks and cause mischief, tricking my friends. But ever since my transmigration and the whole "names grant power" thing? Yeah, I regret every decision leading up to that. Thankfully, he listens to me now, most of the time, but I am sure it will work in my favor.
Then there are the others. I've got a whole roster of monsters I named casually, only for them to end up as official subordinates. There's a slime (thank the gods I didn't name him Rimuru), Dinnerbone-Husk, and Aimbot-Skeleton. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Of course, I'm not releasing all of them on Earth. Some of these guys are walking disasters. Only the less problematic ones are getting out this time. I've got a castle to finish, after all, and I'm not about to let my creations turn the place into a war zone before it's even done.
I will also bring out the tamed honeybees. Their honey? Divine. Literally. It's probably one of the best things I have eaten so far. If I ever decide to "play god" and set up a civilization, their honey could be one of the luxuries I provide to my people.
Actually… maybe I should do it. Start a civilization, that is. I could select powerful individuals or those with great potential. There were strong people even in the prehistoric era, after all.
But there is still time for the Stone-Age Avengers to show up. If I remember correctly, there was something about time travelers, young Thanos, Doctor Doom, Kang, and others meddling in this era. Hmm… would taking them out early affect the timeline too much? Could I get away with it?
These thoughts for future me to ponder.
For now, I need to focus on getting stronger. Telekinesis and telepathy seem like good additions to my arsenal. Luckily, Gaia is proficient in both. I'll ask her to train me when I get the chance. I think there was a story about Gaia lifting Mjölnir with telekinesis, so her skills are probably top-tier.
As for telepathy? That will be crucial for managing both families and people. It's a skill I'll need in the long run, especially with the chaotic events I can already see on the horizon.
~~~~~
Should I do a time skip?
Chthon is Continent level at most, for now.
Gaia is planetary level but is not combat-oriented.
Ender is Planetary level with his all powerups, that is without his hybrid form with his familiars.
Also, I will now show system prompts at the end of the chapter it is 2k+ words by the way not counting these notes.
My exams will be over after 5 so maybe there will be regular updates and maybe bonus chapters.
