Herobrine in Marvel...again

Chapter 12: 11 Clash of Titans 2 and Chaos

When he opened his eyes, they were alight with Lightning and Determination. Chidori. The technique he had recreated from his memories of another life was a concentrated mass of lightning energy, sharp enough to pierce through almost any armor.

Lightning began to gather in Ender's right hand, the glow so bright it seemed to rival the storm overhead. The energy hissed and screamed, forming a tightly focused sphere of crackling power. The sound of a thousand birds chirping filled the battlefield as the technique took shape.

Set's eyes narrowed as he sensed the shift in Ender's energy. "What is this?" the Elder God growled his chaotic aura flaring. "Do you think a spark in your hand can stop me, Herobrine?"

Ender didn't respond. His focus was absolute, his body crouching low as the energy in his palm reached critical mass. The ground beneath him cracked and splintered, unable to withstand the pressure of his divinity.

Without warning, Ender launched himself forward. The world seemed to slow as he moved, his form a blur of motion as he raced toward Set with the speed of a lightning bolt. The Chidori in his hand blazed brighter, its sharp edges slicing through the air as he closed the distance.

Set reacted quickly, raising a massive claw wreathed in chaotic energy to block the attack. But Ender's Chidori wasn't just an ordinary strike, it was a culmination of his divinity and Overworld's devastating energy.

At that moment, Ender used his other trump card [Ender Blink] as he teleported from above to the lower direction, catching the Serpent off-guard, his massive form putting him at a disadvantage.

The impact was deafening.

The Chidori struck Set's chest with such force that the chaotic energy and scales shielding it shattered like glass. Sparks flew as Ender's lightning surged through the Elder God's defenses, driving the attack deeper. The Chidori pierced Set's scales, carving through his flesh and sending waves of electricity coursing through his massive frame.

Set roared in agony, his serpentine body thrashing as the lightning tore into him. But the Elder God wasn't defeated yet. With a guttural snarl, he swung his massive tail toward Ender, aiming to crush him in a single blow and he used his other hand to grab Ender's wings.

Ender had to act fast. Using Ender Blink, he disappeared, narrowly avoiding the tail's deadly arc, which created a shock wave. The Chidori dissipated as he landed, but the damage had been done. Set was fatally injured, his movements slower and more erratic.

"You think that will stop me?" Set bellowed, his voice shaking the battlefield. "I am chaos incarnate! I will devour you, godling!"

Ender smirked feeling the thrill of battle, his eyes still glowing with the storm's energy. "It's not about stopping you," he said, gripping his trident once more. "It's about showing you that your chaos has no place here."

As the battlefield simmered in the aftermath of the Chidori's devastating strike, Ender felt Set's chaotic presence still lingering, weakened but not extinguished. The Elder God was not one to surrender easily, and his aura began to twist, pulling energy from the remnants of his hybrids and the surrounding chaos.

"You've hurt me," Set hissed, his massive serpentine form convulsing. "But I am eternal. You cannot end me!" His voice was venomous, laced with rage and desperation.

Ender knew this was no time for hesitation. He clenched his trident, lightning crackling around him as he prepared for what could be the final strike. Drawing upon his divinity and every ounce of strength, Ender activated a technique he had perfected over weeks of grueling training in Overworld.

A surge of divine lightning enveloped Ender's body, forming a shimmering armor of crackling energy. The air around him sizzled as the storm bent to his will, wrapping him in a cocoon of pure power. The Lightning Chakra Armor, inspired by the Raikage's technique, amplified his speed and strength to godlike levels, but it came at a great cost.

Every muscle in his body was strained. Even the Armor could only reduce the strain, but he was yet to completely master it; the armor pushed his physical limits to their peak, and the divine energy coursing through him drained his reserves rapidly. Still, Ender gritted his teeth, his resolve unshaken.

"I'll finish this now," Ender declared, his voice booming like thunder. His eyes locked on Set, whose chaotic aura writhed in defiance.

Set lashed out, hurling tendrils of chaos energy in all directions. The ground quaked, and the temple began to crack under the strain of his attacks. But Ender, clad in lightning, moved faster than the eye could follow.

Ender darted forward, his speed creating afterimages as he weaved through Set's chaotic tendrils. Each step sent shockwaves through the ground, the armor amplifying his movements to superhuman levels. He closed the distance in an instant, his trident glowing with the combined power of his enchantments and the storm's fury.

Set roared, his massive tail whipping toward Ender with enough force to shatter mountains. But Ender, anticipating the attack, ducked under it with lightning-enhanced reflexes. He countered with a devastating strike, the Thunderclaps erupting as the trident met Set's tail. The resulting shockwave sent Set reeling, his chaotic energy faltering.

"You think this will stop me?!" Set snarled, his serpentine form coiling as he prepared another attack.

Ender didn't give him the chance. He thrust his trident forward, bypassing Set's defenses entirely due to the speed. The weapon struck true, driving into Set's chest and unleashing a torrent of lightning that coursed through the Elder God's body.

Set's roar of pain echoed across the battlefield as the divine lightning tore apart his chaotic essence. His form began to unravel, the once-mighty Elder God reduced to a flickering shadow of his former self.

Realizing his defeat was imminent, Set glared at Ender with a mix of hatred and fear. "This isn't over," he hissed, his voice a whisper of venom. With a final surge of chaotic energy, he opened a portal to an unknown dimension, his form slipping into the void.

Ender stood still, the trident in his hand crackling with residual energy. He considered pursuing Set but stopped himself. He knew the Elder God's desperation could lead to drastic measures, and chasing him into an unfamiliar dimension could trigger catastrophic consequences.

Letting out a heavy breath, Ender deactivated the Lightning Chakra Armor, the divine energy dissipating as he fell to one knee. His body ached, and his reserves were nearly depleted, but he had succeeded. The storm began to calm, the skies clearing as the Earth itself seemed to rejoice in his victory.

As Ender stood amidst the ruins of the temple, his skeletal mount, Sleipnir, appeared next to him, its eerie glow a comforting presence. Mounting the steed, he turned his gaze to the horizon, where Gaia's presence awaited.

He had driven off Set and saved the mammals, but he knew this was only the beginning. Set's retreat was not an end, it was a delay. The Elder God would return, and Ender would need to be ready.

For now, though, the Earth was safe, and he had won the battle. Ender allowed himself a small smile as he guided Sleipnir back toward Gaia, the storm dissipating behind him.

In the shadows of the storm-ravaged battlefield, a figure watched silently. His presence was unlike any other, a suffocating aura that twisted the fabric of reality itself. Two massive, curling horns framed his sinister visage, and his crimson eyes gleamed with a malevolent intelligence. To the untrained, he would appear as a demon from the depths of hell, but to those who understood the cosmic order, he was far more ancient and far more dangerous.

This was Chthon, the Elder God of Chaos, the first wielder of dark magic on Earth, and the architect of chaos magic itself. While Set embodied primal chaos and destruction, Chthon's chaos was refined and insidious, a power that could warp realities and reshape existence with but a whisper.

As he observed the aftermath of Set's defeat, his lips curled into a faint smirk. "How far the mighty have fallen, Set," he mused, his voice a silky drawl laced with venom. "To think that you, an Elder God, were brought low by a fledgling deity wielding his newly awakened divinity. I expected more of a fight. Disappointing... though not entirely surprising."

Chthon's thoughts shifted to the weapon Ender had wielded, the trident still crackling with residual divine energy as its wielder disappeared over the horizon. "That weapon," Chthon muttered, stepping closer to the ruins. The faint glow of reality-altering energy surrounded him as he scanned the battlefield, picking up fragments of the trident's destructive power.

"A composition unknown to this world," he murmured, analyzing the residue. "Is it uru, though it shares the capacity to channel divine energies with frightening efficiency." His eyes narrowed as he pieced together the nature of the artifact. "Ah... an anomaly, much like its wielder. Fascinating."

Chthon's expression shifted from curiosity to wicked glee, a sinister laugh rumbling from his chest. "To wield such power... and to bear the divinity of lightning so seamlessly. Impressive, Herobrine. Truly impressive. But you remain untested against the real forces of chaos. Gaia's nurturer may command the storm, but before true chaos, even the mightiest tempest is but a whisper."

The Elder God turned his attention to Set's essence, which still lingered faintly in the air. He reached out with a clawed hand, twisting the chaotic remnants into tendrils of dark magic that coiled around his fingers. "A pitiful state, Set. Did you truly think brute force alone would suffice? Chaos is not meant to bludgeon. It is meant to unravel, to erode, to infect."

He chuckled darkly, his voice dripping with mockery. "Your failure serves as a reminder. Power without cunning is a blade without a hilt, useless and dangerous to its wielder."

Chthon's form began to blur, his presence growing more oppressive as he prepared to leave. "Gaia," he whispered, his tone both mocking and ominous. "It seems your chosen companion has some potential after all. A rarity among the newer gods. But make no mistake, when the time comes, neither love nor storms will protect you from the inevitable. True chaos cannot be contained, only delayed."

With that, Chthon's form dissolved into swirling tendrils of chaos magic, his laughter echoing across the ruined battlefield. He had much to prepare and a book to write, a grimoire that would one day bear his tales, a tome of unspeakable power that would shape the fate of gods and mortals alike.

For now, he would wait and watch, his ever-expanding schemes lurking in the shadows. Chaos was patient, after all.

~~~
Chthon is patient he waited for a long to be sealed in Wanda after all, lol~
We won't be seeing Set anytime soon, that guy will be just a background character Mc will deal with him when he deals with other Elder Gods.
We almost reached 100 PS good good next goal 1000. 😅
