Archives: The Running Witch
28th of September, 701st of NDE. Ang-Yonaeth, Midnight Isles.
The Midnight Isles, a small archipelago located north, northeast from the steep shores of the Osomi Heimrad of the Far-North and north from the far extending archipelago home to the Hoshigawan Shogunate, one of the primary members of the Draunneth Alliance. Like its often referred big brother, the Midnight Isles comprise of six isles of varying scopes with the central, main island surrounded by the other smaller serving as the home to the mixed hoshigawan and nairenthian residents whilst the others do have some smaller settlements – of which many got abandoned through the centuries – but for the most part they serve as bases for the Hoshigawan oceanic host or the Black Rose Order.
This partly came to be as the isles formerly served as a pirate settlement where a congregation of pirates, raiders, fleeing bandits and outlaw mages flocked from the cruel hands of justice, and formed their alliance. Though at first, they were only a problem to the far-northerners, as they began to rake up in glories, riches and slaves to sell for other powers, they began to raid the coastlines of Hoshigawa, a terrain that was easier to camp down for longer times.
All in all it lead to the first cooperation between the two ancient powers who razed the pirate settlements killing and capturing everyone, with the far-northerners being led by the Sisterhood of the Black Rose at the time, granting them a headquarter on the isles so close to the Maelstrom. Though that headquarter slowly shifted in places, went to the main island where Ang-Yonaeth was built on the sloping high hill overlooking the northern bay, whilst they old place became a vast prison complex built into three great spires of oceanic stone rising forth the raging waters with the only way to get there and out being by Voidvessels.
Furthermore, since the end of the war, the naval and ground branches of the Black Rose gave away their territory to the Black Lotues Branch after Lythienne stepping down and abolishing the Ur-Hersith title of the Order, gifting jurisdiction of the Isles to Kaguyari. Now besides the Hoshigawan police force, the Black Lotuses patrol the sloping great city of Ang-Yonaeth stretching from the top down to the snow blanketed meadows.
Ang-Yonaeth itself was built by the ancient earthmasons of Naireanth and Hoshigawa, leading to a mingling of architectural styles of the far-east and the far-north. Buildings with thick stone walls, now coated in an additional layer painted in the dim shades of midnight with eastern style windows, steep pagoda roofs, sliding doors and the warm and large lanterns hanging from the threshold of edifices across not just the capital, but the Isles themselves after the recent renovations of 534th of the Neo-Dawn Era.
Whilst the city enjoyed relative peace even during the Great War, even during when the far-southern armada invaded the coastlines of the Osomi Heimrad, the criminal elements of its distant past remained, forming into the Triumvirate, a large criminal enterprise that’s tendrils reached the heart of Naireanth, Hoshigawa, Grauburgia and even Eoran led by three illusive persons, including the Midnight Witch, a former member of the Coven of the Forsaken who evaded the Black Roses for the past 1500 years since their terrorizing the basin.
And now was responsible for the spread of drugs, one of which called the Sanguine Pleasures led to the death of the governor. A governor not much beloved, but a state official enough to warrant the two nations’ to hunt down the Midnight Witch and finally prosecute her, which they managed to do pretty quickly leading to many asking why they didn’t move earlier.
And whilst she was waiting to be extradited to Hoshigawa in the famed, or infamous – depending who you ask – Spire Prison Complex owned now by the Black Lotuses. Not for long though after she managed to escape from her cell, leaving an unfortunate guard in her place, hung up in the bodybag lifted into the air, forcing her into a high grade illusion.

In one of the alleys of the highest district of the even section of the hill, between the Fervent Oni and another establishment of bodily joys Kichiel slowly finished buttoning up the silver and berry blue color schemed blouse of the Black Lotuses’ high collared aetherna satin blouse belonging to the Keisatsuath echelon, its surface glinting softly in the shadows whilst the surface remained unblemished, smooth and creaseless like undisturbed milk in the glass.
Over it, the double breasted Cheongsaeth Type-IV coat of asymmetrical silhouette – a bit rounder compared to the other branches uniforms spiced with a firm angularity – with the standing, unfolded collar lacking in visible neckline brushing her tapering jawline, encircling her neck, almost except at the throat where the dress shirts’ own collars popped out, reaching up to her cheeks pale silver as the moonlight.
Just as she remembered, all pieces including the boots and pleated breeches fitted their silhouette to her towering, slender but also muscled form with her packed abdomen disappearing behind the buttoned up lower segment of the stiff dress shirt, a fusion of silken textile and molten glass. A marvelous product of years of experimentation in the recreation of the divine servants of Myelia often depicted in old paintings.
“How I missed this feeling.” She whispered to herself as her hands caressed the smooth, creaseless raven black dragonid leather surface of the coat, her clawed tips smoothing over the veiling panel concealing the winding placket embroidered with eastern moon runes. From there the coat mimicking the stylish cheongsam dresses popular amongst the good citizens of Hoshigawa continued upwards, straightened out taking a sharp left turn towards the collars trimmed with liquid palladium in a shade of Moon Silver engraved with the eastern lunar runes which lit up the moment she slipped into the coat, conforming to her delicate, statuesque silhouette.
Though what really brought memories of her academy days was the soothing, pleasantly cold sensation of aetherna satin brushing against her skin as the sleek, stylish blouse hugged her form in its stiff embrace while its berry blue collar folded down with long, pointy tips wispy a bit curling at the ends. For a second, as she begin to tie the Black Roses necktie, she pondered if the inner lining of the dress shirt was intentionally made softer.
Then after she finished knotting and sliding the blade of the necktie from the small metallic jaw of moon silver, she folded down the large, curvy leaves of the collars and with a sibilant, metallic hiss pulled the zipper up stopping just before reaching into the territory of the collar whilst she stared down at the former owner of the uniform laying naked against the wall in the dim shadows.
Her delicate wrists forced behind her back, tightly restrained with siphoning ropes, her thighs and ankles similarly while her lips and eyes both were wrapped behind glossy moon silver sealing tape, biting into her lush, silken dark bluish hair flowing evenly down onto her soft, fair peachy shoulders while her small, but shapely breasts rested on the top coil of siphoning ropes.
“Thank you.” Kichiel whispered into her half-elven contoured ears, biting playfully their tips as she made the young guard moan into her gag while still unconscious. The tips of her snow pale fingers ending in the obsidian claws gently brushed against the neatly trimmed vulva still in the fetters of her silken panty of a rosy pattern. Satisfied by the soft moan, her hands retreated and at once reached into her personal pocket void and grabbed a small metallic needle looking device and plunged it with brutal efficiency into the guards’ temple.
The Memory Siphoner – its honest name – slowly chugged in and out the recent memories whilst also grabbing a bit older ones. When it was filled full, the glass casket within the confines of softly gleaming gray metal shimmered in a bluish purple hue, then with the same brutal efficiency jammed its into her own temple while biting onto her tongue as it passed through tendon and marrow.
After the memories of the guard flowed into her mind, she pulled it out a lot more gently as she hissed from the mild pain and her pale form molded itself into the form of the guard beneath her feet mumbling in her gag, still reeling from the same pain. Kichiel quickly hoisted her over her shoulder, then into a nearby trash bin where she blanketed her with a few more squealing bags of not so pleasant smells.
“Here we go. Hope she’s still compliant.” Kichiel murmured in the soft, husky voice of the guard as she crossed her fingers before entering the large establishment, she herself financed in its early days.
**
Kichiel took a deep breath, soothing her primal desires as she pretended to make her rounds in the wide corridors of rich oaken walls, walking amongst the other Keisatsuaths and the oni blooded stygians wearing sleeveless cheongsam dresses made out of glossy vhalex and with open, arced collars reaching up to their chiseled cheeks, a result of the toned down Black Rose concoction.
Whilst she financed the place in its early days, Hiinera the owner and an old friend of hers, an onirith herself began to shift away from the Triumvirate and towards the Black Lotuses who began to not just finance but provide a still medium grade beautification elixir that was toned down version of theirs. It still provided the lustrous, unblemished skin and strengthened arcane points allowing the courtesans to not rely on the protection of others, but lacked in the elvenization of the Black Rose concoction.
It also turned their hair silken, dense and gave it a much vibrant shade, while their slim horns gained a sheen akin to polished dwarven marble. Even though Kichiel herself was subjected to the Black Rose concoction in its purest form, it did little to her on the outer appearance thanks to her lunar dracorith heritage, though it did elevated her magical and even physical prowess, yet her primal desires were still swayed to dark corners as she walked past the courtesans in vibrant, glossy clothing and their sweet scent awakened dominating desires within her heart and mind.
She had to bit down on her tongue several times – and thanked the Gods for the shapeshifting as her fangs could have easily penetrated her soft tendon. In the end when she reached the stairs, finding it mostly empty except a few courtesans who were occupied with patron, she slipped up slowly, grimacing a few times when she heard the soft squeaking of the dragonid leather coat with its asymmetrical, rounded hemline reaching down her shapely thighs.
Before she headed to her intended destination of the five-floored edifice – the office of Hiinera on the fifth – she stepped out to the balcony cutting out space from the interior, and staring over the walled off district stretching moderately wide on the flat top of the hill with the castle of the former governor visible standing on one of the pillars of oceanic stone rising from the waters and connecting to the top with an earthen bridge raised, grown by the ancient earth-callers.
There the cold breeze of air rustling her collars and brushing her altered face calmed her senses, making her focus as time was against her, just as the whole city who were expecting her to return here knowing her past with the Fervent Oni. As she was leaning onto the rails, her mind began to thread onto thoughts of possible ifs, including Hiinera turning on her, not delivering on her debt.
“Well, in the worst case I just have to force things.” She whispered to herself whilst peeking into the pouch on the waist belt of the coat, staring at the glinting moon silver tape, then reached into her pocket void and picked out a small device resembling a bracelet she placed onto her wrists after sliding the sleeves of the coat and dress shirt up. At once, fluid plates matching the flexibility of her own body enveloped her forearms like a vambrace while two vials with retractable needles appeared on the lower end, disappearing in the dim confines of the sleeves as she turned back and headed inside for the fourth floor.

“Come in.” Came the low, resonant voice clearly through the sliding door ornated with oaken square patterns before Kichiel. With a soft touch of her palm, it retracted into the wall revealing the large office of Ginshiur, an onirith Majutsushine of the Black Lotus with a mystifying beauty beget of the combination of her moon white complexion, slender lithe form, moderately long moon blue hair with wispy moon red ends whilst four oni horns arose from her forehead shorter at glance than the ones behind, above them, with her bangs opening up like a curtain, framing her enigmatic visage with wide, small eyes listlessly staring at her.
Her lithe form draped in a long Kimonningrieth Type-III coat which as it namesake implies was designed to resemble a kimono devoid of shoulder, or in as others would described, loosely worn with the collar slid just a bit above the elevation of elbows. A piece that possessed a double collar – so to speak – one that masqueraded as the pulled down lapel, collar of a kimono appearing loose yet stiffly in place, the three overlapping piece matching in wide height and the moon silvery dye and lunar runes embroidered into its smooth, leathery texture.
And the second inner one assembled around her neck encased in the peach tinted collar of the dress shirt beneath the coat. A shape which resembled the crescent state of moon, but with blunt tips pointed towards the mesmerized Kichiel which whilst an inner collar in technicalities, in reality it created an illusion of an inner piece, a middle garments of sorts even though it was only a starched collar and shoulder growing from the “outers” inner walls bereft of any features. A piece onto which her silken, lustrous locks of her dense hair fallen upon, glinting in the inflowing moonlight.
Kichiel could not help being drawn to the sorceress of the Black Lotus, as not only her face, but even the sleek garments of style and discipline amplified her beauty. A part in which the obi belt of the coat played a big part as its tight grip accentuated the onirith’s slender and lithe form.
“Excuse my intrusion Elevated-Sister. Came to hand in my report.” Then she let out a soft sigh, slowing the pace of her beating heart. When Ginshiur nodded her head, for a moment she noticed her thin, glossy moon silver lips curve mildly when she stepped into the office.
Kichiel reached and unfolded the winding panel as she zipped down the coat just below her altered, small and shapely bosom and reached into the papers she quickly fabricated, digging into the memories of the secured uniform and appearance donor, and handed them to Ginshiur who sat down behind her chair and signaling her obliviousness to the spell, turned it towards the panorama window with a clear view of the upper district.
Living with the chance, Kichiel swiftly phased her body through the desk and clamped one hand over Ginshiur’s lips, while the other jammed the two needles phasing through the enchanted uniform’s collars and injected her with the potent sleeping poison. A muffled, whispery groan escaped Ginshiur and her sudden limping and almost slipping down from the chair relaxed Kichiel as she rushed over and hoisted the majutsushine up and against the left wall.
From the pouch she took out the large roll of sealing tape and first secured the onirith’s ankles and thighs, then pulled the unconscious Ginshiur onto her back before rolling her onto her sides and crossed her wrists behind her back, securing them quickly and meticulously, though to soothe her still worrying mind, she quickly reached into the pouch and picked out two plastic mana ties she fastened to the taped ankles and wrists.
Then she grabbed onto the shoulders, pushing down the slimly coated outer collars, while the peeled out roll of tape dangled as she bit onto its end, making her feel a bit dizzy. Kichiel swiftly attached the end to the left shoulder, just below the outer collar and wrapped it quickly, feeling exhilarated as the sporadic and squeaky sound of the tape permeating the room, followed by the squeaking of tightening onto the dragonid leather coat, accentuating Ginshier’s lithe form even more so.
“Nothing personal kid.” She whispered, her voice breaking from excitement as she could no longer contain her desires, and their lips locked onto each other as she forced her tongue inside Ginshier’s mouth. Then she quickly separated when she heard the door slide open, and a stygian courtesan of oni blood sporting an asymmetrically trimmed black and red bob stared at them with her blue cheeks turning violet upon the wave of excitement washed over her confusion.
“So typical.” Kichiel whispered to herself as she recalled the same happen during her days in the Coven as she forced herself onto a former Sister of hers whilst she reached her hand left arm towards the oni courtesan with fear now in her eyes as umbral fleshy tendril sprouted quickly from her arm and wrapped around the courtesan torso and mouth, muffling her whimper as she was dragged inside.
**
“I guess you were quitm hnphphm Hnchnmm!” Before Hiinera could have finished her sentence, Kichiel tore off a wide and large strip from the roll and sealed the pretty, tender full lips of hers, stifling the rest of her sentence. Hiinera stared at first to the two – Ginshier and the courtesan of hers – laying on top of each other, wrapped tightly whilst the oni’s pressed her taped lips onto Ginshier’s neck, pushing onto the soft satin collar as she could no longer resist the tantalizing scent of the bound and gagged sorceress.
Though she was far from a connoisseur of the arts of bondage, watching the two awakened the sleeping beast of lust resting within her. A beast which laid dormant for decades since her acquisition of the place she worked herself in for centuries.
Just a few moments ago, Hiinera hearing the commotion through the thin walls, stepped out from her adjacent office and stumbled into Kichiel securing the terrified, paralyzed courtesan, and then stared at her sighing before she reached it and secured her with the tendrils like the courtesan. And now she sat in her stylish kimono suit and crop top with high collar slit open at the center, the tight sealing tape pushing her into the leather chair whilst she instinctively looked at the two bound together, mewling passionately in their gags – though the Ginshier still unconscious with pleasant dreams as her senses were assaulted by the courtesan’s own enticing aroma.
Within seconds the tendrils released and just as quickly their grip was replaced with the tapes’ wounded across her wrists then abdomen after not so carefully thrown into the rolling chair where their unyielding grip pushed her into the chair’s leathery embrace. And then as she tried to inquire on the reason – which she was well aware of – of her old friends’ sudden and unannounced visit, the wide strip quickly clung onto her pretty lips and soft cheeks.
“I’d like to reminiscence of the old times, maybe even play a little bit, but time is just as my enemy as the Black Lotuses as you are well aware.” Kichiel said as she grasped her shoulders, and the two came face to face. “Also I am sure you have rock solid insurance for the vessel.” At that Hiinera began to groan and moan into her gag while trying to lunge angrily towards Kichiel with little to no success.
“MMnnph N'mm phpmnh!” Then her moans turned reasoning, bartering even as she tried to offer alternatives instead of her favored vessel, home to many sweet and lust filled memory, yet passed by and through Kichiel’s faux ears as she took already took the keycard to her sealed drawer. “I am glad we’re on the same note still.”
“Oh one more thing.” She said turning around and walking back with the Memory Siphoner in hand. With a swiftly brutal efficiency, she jammed it in Hiinera’s right Moon Blue temple, the sudden surge of pain eliciting a muffled yelp from the onirith owner before she went silent as her dusk amber, demoniac eyes rolled up into her head while her squirming in her sticky bindings came to a momentary end.
With a swift pull, the needles came out and went into hers as she hissed upon the needle penetrating through her skin and bone once more during this fine evening and poured the memories into her mind. “Thank you. Now enjoy the show.” Kichiel said as she walked over to the two on the floor, and pouch appeared in her left hand.
She untied it quickly and poured a handful of pinkish powder into her palm while crouching down at the two bound onto each other. A dark, small aperture formed on her remolded lips and sweet, cold breath of hers passed through it as Kichiel blew the powder into the face of the two. A few silent moments passed as she left wordlessly and with a smirk, then came the first aggravated moan from the courtesan as a sudden wave of forced sensations broke through the dam.
The same happened with the still dreaming Ginshiur and the two’s squirming intensified as they tried to break through their bindings holding them back from true satisfaction. In Hiinera’s horrified eyes, the two resembled a wriggling worm, beating its lasts before the call of the reaper. Which was pretty true hence why she began to force out loud moans, hoping to alert the nearby guards making their rounds in the floors below.
She watched as their sealed lips bulging violently on the creased surface of the tape pushed onto other, sliding east and west, north and south on each other’s’ face while their sporadic breaths rustled their silken and dense hairs. Veins popped on the edges of their faces, and their hearts’ pace increased as the flow of passion coursed through their whole beings, even for Ginshiur who remained asleep whilst Hiinera continued her muffled serenade, call for aid whilst Kichiel slipped out from her office, yelping as she listened to the muffled noises of the last passionate struggle.
And just like before, even as she was running towards her freedom, her hands moved instinctively as she listened a little to the groans and moans…
Footnote:
And another one. This one less so a scenario based story, and more of setup for a minor storyline for the future regarding the Midnight Isles.
And doing some expansion for the Black Lotus so that they can appear in stories not set in the Yudao Peninsula and the Hoshigawan Archipelago. And a short bit on the Majutsutshines. For all intents and purposes, they are the sorceresses of the Black Lotus, though in this case and it is a minor change regarding the Black Lotuses, but its less of a rank, more of a branch within the branch. So in the future, the uniform - resembling or well using a loose, pulled down kimono as its baseline - shall be the coat of the expert sorceresses while the novices have a slightly different one. Same with the Keisatstuath except the cheongsam being the novice uniform coat.
Storyline wise, nothing concrete yet as the drug thing I want to do more for southern Eoran. Though that may change in the future. At this point the storyline will probably focus on Kichiel returning and taking back control over her organization.
And a bit on the story on september. Slow progress regarding the last two chapters, but I reached a point similar in the All That Glistens where its sudden jumps between Red Shirts, though this time it will feature fewer as I feel the previous got a bit bloated.
Anyhow, thank you for reading this folks. Take care in this heat; stay hydrated and keep to the shadows!
