Maki was astonished.

He had noticed that a younger comrade he'd met recently was surprisingly adept at bandaging and was highly skilled. 

Bandaging three wounds in under five minutes was impressive enough to make even seasoned medical ninjas envious. 

But was it really necessary to rewrap the same scrape over and over again? 

Watching as Hattori unwrapped the bandage from his leg again, Maki finally couldn't hold back.

"Uh… Shi, I think it's good enough…"

"No, it's not!"

Before Maki could finish his sentence, Hattori cut him off without hesitation.

"It wasn't wrapped perfectly, so I have to redo it. I won't tolerate any flaws in my medical work—it's the greatest insult to my skills!"

With that, he removed the bandage from Maki's leg and began disinfecting and rewrapping it with focused attention.

Seeing how seriously Hattori took it, Maki didn't say anything, only watching helplessly as Hattori continued the bandaging.

With that thought, Maki stopped Hattori from unwrapping the bandage yet again.

"Shi, this time the bandage is perfect. I swear it's the most flawless bandage I've ever seen, so please, don't unwrap it again!"

He pointed in a direction behind him.

"There are a lot of other injured comrades over there. The other medical ninjas are already helping them, but they could still use your support. Please, go help them!"

"Well…" 

Seeing Maki's insistence, Hattori finally nodded.

"Alright, I'll go then."

He took one last, lingering look at the bandage on Maki's leg, then picked up his supplies and walked in the direction Maki had indicated.

Watching Hattori's figure fade into the distance, Maki finally sighed in relief.

"Whew, he's gone at last."

But as he turned back around, he found a young girl in front of him, carefully unwrapping his bandage with a dedicated expression.

Noticing Maki looking at her, the girl gave him a sweet, reassuring smile.

"Don't worry, big brother, you're not going to die. I'll wrap this up for you, and you'll be fine… oh no, you're bleeding again!"

Hattori had no idea about Maki's predicament, as he had already reached the center of the ruins.

This central area was where the rampaging Shukaku had wreaked havoc. The damage was extensive, and many people were injured.

With the medical ninjas in Sunagakure overwhelmed, they had to prioritize those with more severe injuries.

In this situation, Hattori quickly located lightly wounded people needing treatment and started disinfecting and bandaging their wounds efficiently.

Initially, everyone just thought he was a helpful kid.

But as he showed his practiced, quick bandaging technique, the people around him started looking at him differently.

As people talked, they started crowding around Hattori, asking him to help with their wounds.

However, wasn't chakra supposed to be the resource for jutsu? Could this "MP" actually be his chakra?

"Well, there's only one way to find out!"

Always one for action, Hattori decided to test it right away.

He set down his bandages, placed his hands over a nearby injured person, and activated the jutsu.

"Healing Jutsu!"

With the skill activated, a faint green glow appeared on his palm, and under its influence, the wound on the person in front of him started to heal rapidly.

Ten seconds later, the green glow on his hand faded, and the wound he treated was completely healed, leaving only a faint scar.

Hearing their praise, Hattori's smile grew even brighter.

With that thought, he activated the Healing Jutsu twice more, healing two more people and earning another round of astonished stares along with a satisfying series of notifications.

But for Hattori, this was no big deal—once he ran out, he could go back to leveling up with bandages!

With this thought, he continued using Healing Jutsu on the injured around him, even re-treating those he'd bandaged earlier.

After all, they were all potential experience points.
