Hatake Tatsuya in Naruto

Chapter 109

This is classified information obtained from Orochimaru. The primary focus of the information revolves around Danzo. Among the info is the fact that, aside from the research collaboration Danzo has with Orochimaru, he relies on Sharingan to control the rampant Hashirama cells in his right hand.

It is also highlighted that Danzo, now well into his fifties, is increasingly driven to acquire more power. Recognizing the impossibility of achieving a breakthrough through conventional training, he has turned his attention to the surgical method of "transplantation."

Owing to the influence of Hashirama's cells, Danzo's body has undergone a transformation that borders into a monstrosity. This transformation, however, has given him a taste of the coveted Bloodline limit. Danzo's grand plan includes the transplantation of Uchiha Shisui's Sharingan and even Uzumaki Kushina's Nine Tails.

Danzo firmly believes that by combining the forces of Senju and Uchiha. He can wield control over the tail beasts more effectively than Kushina. The initial step towards this ambitious goal is the completion of the Sharingan transplantation. Uchiha Shisui's eyes, imprisoned for several years, serve as the perfect test subjects for Hashirama cells.

Given the complexity of the task and the extraordinary nature of the medical procedures involved, Danzo sought help from Orochimaru once again. Orochimaru sent this scroll to Tatsuya, aiming to confirm whether Tatsuya was willing to aid Danzo in the Sharingan transplantation.

Despite Orochimaru's lack of prior interest in Sharingan, he becomes intrigued by Danzo's proposal. Orochimaru contemplates the concentration of Senju and Uchiha powers within a single individual and wonders about the potential outcomes.

"Danzo is getting desperate," Tatsuya exclaimed, slapping his forehead in embarrassment, realizing he had forgotten about Uchiha Shisui.

The mention of Shisui in the scroll stirs surprise and curiosity among those present. Rin and Kurenai, who graduated in the same year as Shisui, expressed shock at the revelation that he might be alive. The news leaves them questioning, as they have always believed Shisui died on a mission against Suna.

Even Terumi Mei, hearing this unexpected revelation, is dumbfounded and reflects on Konoha's adeptness at playing complex dark games with the life of their genius at that.

After pondering about the secret missive sent by Orochimaru, Tatsuya pondered.

"It's more troublesome to convey such matters through a letter. Ask your master to come to Konoha to discuss it with me," Tatsuya instructed the Summoning Red Snake, responsible for delivering the message to Orochimaru.

The red snake recoiled at the request, its tongue flicking nervously as it expressed concern over Orochimaru's rebellious status. "You ask much, Tatsuya. Orochimaru is no longer recognized as a student of the Sarutobi. The risks are great."

Tatsuya raised an eyebrow, his tone calm but questioning. "And do you doubt your master's abilities?"

The red snake hesitated but then hissed in frustration. "I will inform Orochimaru of the situation. I hope, at the very least, he will understand!"

With that, the red snake slithered into a puff of smoke, disappearing as it returned to the Summoning world.

"In the village's shadows, there's so much darkness you're unaware of..." Tatsuya mused, leaving the three young girls utterly stunned. For these 13-year-olds, the thrill of the unfolding events was overwhelming.

"I already warned you not to eavesdrop; yet, you insisted on huddling together and eavesdrop," Tatsuya scolded the trio, playfully tousling their hair. He remembered the girls' attempt to overhear overnight during his dealings with Tsunade on the front line.

Two days later, under the moonlight in Tatsuya's new home courtyard, Rin and Terumi Mei had fallen asleep. Tsunade, immersed in her duties as the next Fourth Hokage, worked away in her office, managing an endless flow of documents. According to Nawaki, Tsunade already regretted her decision.

In the quietude of the night, an unexpected turn of events unfolded—an S-rank rebel returning to Konoha at a critical juncture.

"If this matter is disclosed, your Sarutobi sensei won't outright declare Danzo as a missing-nin, but his reputation is already in the gutter. I doubt he'll dare to publicly address this issue."

Tatsuya, seated on the yard's stone bench, chuckled lightly. As the figure slowly emerged from the shadowed corners of the wall, Orochimaru's face gradually became distinct in the moonlight.

"If the truth of this incident is shared with the entire village, could it cleanse the false accusations against me?" Orochimaru uttered hoarsely.

"Do you still concern yourself with that?" Tatsuya's pupils dilated slightly, his tone tinged with exaggeration.

"Of course, it's impossible. Regardless of the truth about Uchiha Shisui, I've kidnapped Teacher Sarutobi's son. That's a fact. Restoring Konoha Shinobi's reputation is impossible, and I have no desire to." Orochimaru shrugged, a malevolent smile crossing his face. "However, I've developed a fascinating ninjutsu. I would love to show it to Sensei."

"Living Corpse Reincarnation," Tatsuya guessed vaguely, then inquired, "Tsunade is preparing for the Hokage succession ceremony. You'd have to wait until after that event."

"No, I'm not in a hurry," Orochimaru sneered. "Asuma-kun, my chosen vessel for that technique, will take about three years to become a perfect container. He still can't bear the technique. I plan to wait until that time to settle the old score with Sarutobi-sensei."

When Asuma was mentioned as the container, Tatsuya waited for a moment, completely piecing together Orochimaru's intentions. 'Will you then go by the name 'Sarutobi Orochimaru'?'

"That guy is fine?" Tatsuya casually inquired about Asuma.

"He spent the whole time screaming about killing me and you, Tatsuya-kun. Quite the spirited youngster." Orochimaru extended his long tongue, circling it around the corner of his lips in his typical Orochimaru fashion.
