God Transported me to a Fantasy World with my Guns

Chapter 18 Puniz Sugoci

“How soon can you arrange a meeting?” Tommy asked.

Rizi thought for a moment before saying.

“Let me contact my friend and ask when she can meet.”

“How will you contact her?” Tommy asked.

Rizi pulled out a small clear orb before saying.

“With this.”

Tommy raised an eyebrow in curiosity before inspecting the orb.

[Communication Orb]

[Description: A small magical orb that allows long range communication to another communication orb, must register the orb to be able to communicate with it.]

“I see.” Tommy said.

“Do you mind giving me some privacy for a few minutes?” Rizi asked.

“No problem.” Tommy replied as he stood up to leave.

“Come find me in the bar when you get an answer.”

After saying such Tommy left the room.

After Tommy left, Rizi closed her eyes and focussed on calming down.

She had been incredibly nervous during the whole conversation with Tommy.

She could still remember how cold his voice was before and how he had killed Grotsk without any hesitation.

She was happy to see he was back to how he was before and that he was now being friendly with her again after she explained everything.

After spending a few minutes to gather herself she placed the communication orb on the small desk and began to channel her magic into it making it glow.

***

In another part of Oakforest City a beautiful young woman wearing a long dress pushed open the door to a large and beautifully decorated room.

“Wait here for my summons, I want some privacy.”

After speaking the beauty closed the door before moving towards a large sitting table surrounded by large comfy looking chairs and sofas.

As she sat gracefully on a large sofa she pulled out a small orb that was glowing and placed it on the table before channeling her magic into it.

After a moment the orbs glow turned blue and after seeing this the beauty said.

“Kele this is a surprise, especially considering what recently took place at the adventurer’s guild.”

“How do you have time to contact me?”

There was silence for a moment before saying.

“My apologies, princess but it’s Rizi Hokruhd.”

The princess showed a surprised look before she frowned and asked suspiciously.

“Miss Hokruhd, why do you have guild master Gledz communications orb and where is she?”

“Guild master Kele is most likely still at the guild dealing with the aftermath of the incident you just mentioned.” Rizi replied before adding.

“As for why I have her communications orb, it’s because she gave it to me.”

“And why would she do that?” The princess asked, still suspicious.

“I am happy to explain Princess, however you should know very well how insecure a communication orb is.” Rizi began before continuing.

“Might I suggest we meet so that I can explain in person?”

“Also since I know you're unlikely to be willing to meet just on that fact.”

“Might I mention that I have someone here who could help you with your personal project.”

The princess’s suspicious look suddenly turned to panic and concern as she said carefully.

“I’m afraid I have no idea what you mean Miss Hokruhd.”

“Why would a small princess like me have any personal projects?”

There was silence for a moment before Rizi said.

“The weather does not look particularly good for this evening's affair.”

As the princess heard this her eyes widened in surprise before they narrowed as she responded.

“Indeed, it might be wise to travel by carriage.”

“Please remember to take an umbrella with you, my princess.” Rizi replied.

“I appreciate the concern you have shown for this princess.”

“But please remind this princess of the location of tonight's affair?”

“Of course my princess, everyone should rest after they travel through OakForest.” Rizi replied.

As Rizi’s words ended the princess stopped channeling her magic into the orb that returned to its normal state.

She then retrieved it and stored it away before sitting back as she began to tap her knee while thinking.

After thinking for several minutes she gracefully stood up and walked towards the door.

As she opened it she said.

“Let us return.”

Before she closed the door behind her.

***

As Rizi saw the orb return to its normal state she sighed before she picked it up and stored it away.

“Let’s hope she comes.”

She mumbled before leaving the room to find Tommy.

***

After Tommy left his room he headed downstairs where he found Jue still behind the reception counter looking bored.

As Jue heard someone descending the stairs she lazily looked up to find Tommy descending.

After seeing Tommy she regained some energy and shot him a flirtatious smile before saying.

“Finished your fun with Rizi?”

((Oh I like this one.))

(Of course you do.)

“Yes, she satisfied me greatly.” Tommy replied before heading for the bar.

Jue’s flirtatious smile turned into a shocked look.

It took a few minutes for her to recover before she pointed and said.

“Hmph, like I believe that.”

After Tommy entered the bar he saw that the same table he sat at last night was free so went and sat down.

A few minutes later Tue arrived before asking with concern.

“Jue said you wanted to talk to me and that you're leaving the city?”

“That was a misunderstanding.” Tommy replied with a smile before saying.

“The directions I received from the guild were misunderstood which is why Rizi came to find me.”

“I won’t be leaving Oakforest City anytime soon don’t worry.”

Tue nodded with a relieved look before asking.

“What do you want to order?”

“Todays special and the ale please.” Tommy replied before asking.

“How are things with your problem? Anything new happen?”

Tue shook her head before saying.

“No, though he will be here in about an hour.”

Tommy raised an eyebrow before asking.

“Does he always come at the same time every night?”

“Yes but not every night.” Tue replied.

“I see.” Tommy replied as Tue left to continue her work.

While waiting for his food Tommy observed the patrons that were in the bar.

He food arrived a few minutes later and after thank Tue he began to dig in.

While he was eating Rizi entered the bar and after locating Tommy she joined him at the table before asking.

“What did you tell Jue?”

Tommy swallowed his food before asking.

“Pardon?”

“What did you say to Jue?” Rizi asked again.

“Oh that.” Tommy replied before saying.

“She tried to tease me by making a comment about us having fun in my room.”

“I simply played along.”

Rizi blushed before turning her head away to hide it as she mumbled.

“Idiot.”

(Kekeke look at her blush, see I told you she was interested in us.))

A moment later Tue arrived and looked at the blushing Rizi with curiosity before asking.

“What do you want to order Rizi?”

Rizi didn’t reply and just pointed at the food Tommy was eating.

Tue understanding the message gave Rizi another curious look before returning to her work.

Tommy focused on eating his food as he left Rizi to calm down.

Soon Tue brought over Rizi’s food and after thanking her Rizi began to eat.

Tue was  about to leave when she suddenly saw something that made her say.

“Tommy.”

“Hmm?” Tommy replied while looking up.

Tue didn’t reply and just indicated something with her eyes before turning to leave.

Rizi saw this and was about to ask Tommy what. That was about when she noticed Tommy was looking towards the entrance.

Following his gaze Rizi saw a man that made her frown before she said.

“Puniz Sugoci.”

“You know him?” Tommy asked.

“No but unfortunately I have heard of him.”

Rizi replied with an annoyed tone before explaining.

“There are rumors that he is a rapist.”

“Only rumors?” Tommy asked.

Rizi nodded before saying.

“Although he had been arrested and brought up on charges.”

“When his day in court was about to arrive he was suddenly released.”

“Bribery?” Tommy asked.

“Most likely, however there was no proof to corroborate the theory.”

“Did anyone question the reason for his release?” Tommy asked.

“Of course, however, the only response they received was that it was a classified state secret.” Rizi replied before.

“Which means it's someone in power pulling the strings.”

Tommy replied to which Rizi nodded in agreement.

At that moment they saw Puniz smirk as he started to approach the counter where Jue was still working.

Rizi frowned at this and was about to go help when she noticed Tommy was already moving.

((Fuck why are we even bothering to help these nobodies, it’s not like we will get any sex from them?))

(You know why.)

((Yeah yeah, because your too lazy to find another inn.))

Just as Puniz was about to reach the counter Tommy called out.

“Jue”

Jue, who was looking slightly nervous as she saw Puniz approach, jumped at the sound of her name before she turned and saw Tommy.

She gave a relieved smile, which Puniz saw, making him frown.

“Yeah?” Jue asked.

“Tue needs your help, she asked me to come get you.” Tommy replied calmly.

“Oh ok.”

Jue replied with a sigh before she hurriedly headed for the bar.

As she passed Tommy she whispered.

“Thanks.”

Puniz watched her go with a frown before he started to follow.

However he was forced to stop when Tommy stepped in front of him.
