Chapter 217: Chapter 217: This Should Be Enough!
"Survive and Come out Alive!" Hearing the words, the disciples started to panic, fearing for their lives. They did not think that the woman would do something like this.
"Are we going to die?!"
"What do we DO?!" Some of them despaired, seeing the walls appearing, blocking their exit, while the others used all of their strength to break the walls.
"It is futile. The formation you are seeing can withstand the attack force of a peak Foundation Establishment Stage cultivator. You should just give up and become my meal." A sadistic grin appeared on the woman's face as she exuded a dark and strong aura.
*Thud!*
Suddenly, someone from the Frozen Heart Sect fell to the ground unconscious. Seeing the lifeless body of the girl, the rest panicked.
A trace of worry and fear appeared in their eyes.
"See that! that's what will happen to you one… by… one… Haha!!!" Seeing the look of despair on the faces of the people, the woman could not stop her sadistic side from showing in front of everyone.
"Why are you doing this?!" A girl from the Wild Serpent Sect was almost on the verge of crying, seeing the imminent danger in front of her.
"Why? you ask, let me tell you then. The reason you will die here—"
"Ah, finally!" Before she could start her villain speech, Noah suddenly spoke up, interrupting her in the middle of her long villain speech. His voice caught everyone's attention.
Yuan Ming, who was about to stab his sword into the ground secretly trying to break the array, also stopped and looked toward Noah.
"Oh, were you going to give a long-ass speech? Thank God! I interrupted at a good time, I am tired of hearing those things. *Snap!*." Noticing that everyone was looking in his direction, Noah noticed the woman was speaking while he was busy with the formations. Seeing him suddenly snapping his fingers, the mysterious woman had a bad feeling in her heart.
*Thud!* *Thud!* *Thud!* *Thud!*
One by one, everyone fell to the ground, lifeless dolls. Yuan Ming tried his best to not close his eyes, but he could not hold for long as heaviness took over his mind and his consciousness entered a deep slumber.
As the last of the ninth disciples fell to the ground, the woman looked at Noah with an unusual seriousness and solemnness in her eyes.
~Woosh!~
She thought that the boy had taken over her array, but to her bewilderment, not only did the disciples instantly fall unconscious, but one by one, they started to vanish. They were being teleported!
'I cannot let this happen!!' she screamed in panic as she tried to connect to the pagoda to stop the rest from teleporting; after all, they were her precious resources.
"....."
She tried many times, but to her shock, no matter how many times she tried to connect to the pagoda, there was no response from it. She even tried to use the traces of energy she left in the formations before to monitor any changes…
….
Nothing!
There was nothing. It was like the qi was flushed out of the system of the arrays, and she could not find it anywhere in the pagoda.
"Are you done?" Seeing that the woman was starting to enter a panicked state just from losing control of the tower, Noah interrupted her thoughts by calling her out.
"You did THIS?! Give it Back! Give me control of the Artifact!" she yelled at Noah from afar, since he was inside the formation she had placed, but somehow he did not even seem affected by it.
"Not me, but the pagoda itself," Noah replied calmly as he took a step forward. The woman frowned hearing his words; she did not even bother to care about his action. She thought he would stop after reaching the edge of the array, but not only did he not stop, but he also raised his hands pointing at the seal.
"The pagoda was just using you to protect and keep itself running like a battery until a new and worthy owner appeared for it.
Now that you have fulfilled your purpose, it will naturally throw you away." Noah's words were sharp and piercing for the woman's heart as she was well aware that she was just being used, but she did not lose hope that one day she would make the pagoda recognize her as the owner.
*Caachhaaaa…inhggg!...*
Noah touched the illusionary wall with his finger, and it shattered like fragile glass.
"Truly a trashy array," Noah could not help but mutter under his breath as he looked at the shards of the walls vanishing.
His disdain surprised the woman as she heard his words. She then remembered how she thought that the boy might be an immortal who was reincarnated with his memories intact. That was the only explanation she had as to how he had such high attainments in arrays and formations, not to mention the sword intent he showed before.
"So you are an immortal!" She exclaimed out loud, looking at Noah with wariness and killing intent. She did not have any reason to keep the boy alive; she could not take away an immortal's soul with such a weak array, and she was not even specialized in arrays.
"So what if you were an immortal in your previous life? You are still a mortal in this life." Noah raised an eyebrow, seeing the woman keep on assuming what he was and how strong he was.
"Let's finish this then," Noah muttered with a serious look on his face; there was no point in delaying the inevitable.
'I cannot keep my soul restrained in this fight. I need to risk a little damage to the body to deal with her.' Noah sighed and raised his hand towards his face, removing the mask.
Since there was no one besides the two of them, there was no point in wearing it. He did not want the beautiful mask to be damaged by his powers.
Gulp!
The mysterious woman had already released all of her soul energy, ready to fight to the death with Noah, but she didn't expect him to be this handsome.
Her eyes momentarily trembled to see his thick eyebrows and sharp jawline; his rebellious-looking face made her insides tingle with anticipation. She did not even notice that she had unknowingly stopped her energy from releasing and gulped her saliva.
Noah placed the mask in his storage ring before looking at the woman, who somehow became horny in the middle of the battle.

~BOOM!~
In an instant, Noah's soul power erupted like a suppressed volcano, snapping the woman out of her fantasies.
She flared her soul power to resist the pressure. She did not even bother to hide the fact that she was a demonic cultivator and used her cultivation techniques to churn her soul power.
Tears and cracks started to appear on his body. Golden light flashed from the cracks, trying to keep the body together and keep it from falling apart, but as soon as the cracks healed, another crack appeared.
The healing seals found it difficult to keep up with the damage his body was facing. The pressure was so much that it instantly matched the woman's pressure and even started to overpower it.
"This should be enough!"
