Game of Thrones: Ghost of the Uchiha

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Stillborn?

< Olyssia Sand POV (OC) >

It was so painful, I have never felt like this before.

Even when I sparred with soldiers from the army and got punched and beaten. I never felt this much excruciating pain,

I felt like something was ripping out of me, I know this is what is happening, but it feels so much worse than it looks.

Looking at my pacing husband Daeryn Black, I try to show him my strong side, but I can't help but want to curse out all known curses in the world at the moment.

It was fine at first, but then I took medicine to relieve the pain, but soon after I started bleeding.

*Tear slips from eyes*

I may not be so smart, but I am not too dumb. I realized I might have been plotted against, I feel I may have been poisoned, I can feel my strength dwindling down, but I will persevere for my child.

Even if I die, I know my husband will protect our child with all his heart.

"Keep Pushing" a maid sooth fully exclaims to me

I daze in and out of hearing from the pain, I am pushing with all my strength, but what's showing is already all I can do.

I see as the doors push open, and Elia Martell my cousin comes in with her children, she looks at me with concern, and I know this is all real.

Elia was my best friend growing up back in Dorne, she knew I was a sand, but still let me come be her handmaiden, although we don't care much for bastards in Dorne, here in King's Landing they do.

So having a bastard being her handmaiden could have been an insult, but she still brought me with her.

"Olyssia, you gotta stay strong. You were always the strongest woman I knew. Just take deep breaths and think about how much you will love your child. I heard a saying that a woman's strength may be weak, but a mothers' heart is strong,"

Elia comforted me with words, but that last saying stuck with me. Yes, as a mother I will do my best to protect this child, even if it will only be short term.

Although I believed I was poisoned, I am not entirely sure as I have never given birth before, it could also just be I am not blessed by the gods today which is a scary thought, I remember a recent hearing, every time a Targaryen is born the gods flip a coin.

I can only hope this coin doesn't also lead to death.

Soon some time passed.

"Ahhhhh"

My voice left me without realizing, as my Husband came to grab my hand and show his care. Elia starts to walk out the room, about ten minutes later she comes back inside with Grand Maester Pycelle.

Seeing him tell my husband he needs to go see his majesty the king, I have a feeling this may be the last time we see each other.

But I still stay strong.

I watch him talk to his friends, each one a steady fighter, but I was able to best them all, regardless they will be taking care of my life now in this state of weakness,

I hope all my love and care for them as friends lets them help me at this time of need, I pray weakly.

After he finished talking to them he came my way, I looked at him with a loving smile and let him kiss my forehead, before he held my cheeks with a soft touch, feeling his calluses on his hands.

After watching him leave, Grand Maester Pycelle starts getting to work, controlling the situation by moving maids around and his other maesters that were helping. He looks over to me, and hands me a milk of poppy.

I took it, the pain was so much that I would just take anything at this point to stop it, but maybe it's his medicine that ended up working.

I start to feel Pycelle's hands near my area, and it feels creepy and disgusting, but I know he is helping me deliver the child.

I clench my fists and teeth and push with all my might.

Soon I started to feel less pain, but I also saw some questioning looks by the maids.

I see them staring at something, but I was not able to see anything, or hear anything...

My heart drops, not hearing any baby crying… I couldn't imagine my baby being dead at birth. This thought was like a stabbing needle and I felt I was about to faint.

"Congratulations Olyssia, he's a boy… But he hasn't started crying yet, but he is breathing."

Elia came over to wake me up and to comfort me. She noticed my expression and then helped me understand better. It turned out when they got my baby, instead of the natural crying they do, he was very quiet and peaceful.

He even had his eyes opened in a daze, but his look was unique, he had bright red eyes with three dots surrounding the center pupil.

These eyes were naturally captivating, but my first was the worry of a defect.

I knew Targaryen have red eyes, but they aren't that bright or have those black dots in them. My second worry was the non-crying, I was worried he might have come out stupid.

Although I would love him the same, I felt his future would be bleak.

The strong worry of my husband not wanting this child, although I believe he wouldn't, but just that one percent chance was something I dreaded.

"Gi-Give me my child"

Looking at this boy, I smiled at him cutely.

I have so many words I want to express, but he probably wouldn't even understand.

As I stare at this child, I start to feel a strong sense of tiredness and eventually fall into a sleep.

*Sword Clashing, Screaming, Shouting, Muffled Voices*

Waking up in a daze, I see blood, lots of blood, I see one of my husband's friends laying dead. It was Blake. Then I see Raymar and Croody fighting, as I continue to look around the room I see no sign of Elia and her children, Slowly my dazed mind sobers and I look towards my hands.

'MY CHILD'

He was gone, my child was gone. My eyes dart around the room, but I see nothing. Panic and unbearable emotions build up inside me, and I go to speak, but my throat feels sore and croaked.

'Water, I need water'

These Are the only thoughts now, but I can't seem to reach them. I pull myself out of bed in pain and groggy headed, tumbling towards the counter, still seeing Raymar and Crooby fighting back and forth.

I get to the table and find a water flask and a scalpel, grabbing the water I started to drink, feeling refreshed, I stand up wobbly and grab the scalpel,

"What's going on here, someone explain to me now"

"Olyssia!" Crooby shouted with shock.

"He… this monster killed the two Targaryen soldiers and Blake" I see him look at Raymar with anger and anguish

"My child, where is my child" I couldn't help but interrupt, although this fight and what Raymar wants to do is also important, but I still have my child first.

"Taken, taken by-" I watch in disbelief as Crooby is stabbed through the mouth

"Thank you, Olyssia for distracting this big oaf." Raymar takes a big breath with a lustful smile. "You know I have always wanted to fuck you, alive or dead, with your body today must be that day, and once I'm done with that I'll move on to that cute maid over there." He points to a corner of a shivering maid.

"You have never bested me before"

I put on a strong front, feeling weak all over, but I will not let him kill me until I see my child.

"Yes, but now you are weak from childbirth, and a special poison was placed in the milk of the poppy, after today you will surely die."

I watch as Raymar charges me with a short sword, looking to cripple me if not kill me in one strike.

I turned around to dash away, but due to my weakening of childbirth, I couldn't move as fast, getting slashed into my back.

I let out a blood-curdling scream.

Clenching my teeth I get up, turn around facing Raymar who wanted to pounce onto me, he kicked away my scalpel and I feel distraught.

Especially as he tears my clothes, I scream, I don't want this at all. Crawling slowly to the scalpel, I feel my clothes getting less and less, until no more.

I hear the loosening of a belt and pants hitting the floor, he caught my foot and I couldn't move any closer to the scalpel only inches away, I close my eyes in despair as I hear the door break apart and open,

This seemed to startle Raymar and I give my last burst of energy, I grab the scalpel and then turning around with an upward thrust I stab the scalpel straight into his eye, nose, mouth anywhere on his face over and over.

I fall to the floor from immense blood loss and I feel my body slowly getting colder.

I heard a bloodcurdling scream, and I had a strong feeling it was my husband. Smiling in misery, I watch as the door is broken open and Lannister Soldiers run in, I knew the man leading, his name was Armory Lynch. I grab the scalpel in my hand and stab into my neck.

Closing my eyes forever.

'My child, wherever you are,

I hope you can live well,

I am sorry that mom cannot be there for you anymore.

Don't be dead…

Please.'
