Fate/My Villain Simulations

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Fighting for You, My Lady

[The proud goddess had never felt so aggrieved.]

[You watch as the goddess checks the time, one year after another, another month, then three months…]

[Since leaving Uruk, you have lived in the temple for over two and a half years.]

[You know this means the grand drama of the divine era is about to truly unfold, and it all starts with Ishtar being rejected for marriage and humiliated.]

[There are no later stories of "three years of prosperity, then decline," or "the return of the Dragon King," or even the gathering of thirty million special forces. The story in the divine era is quite dull.]

[Because Gilgamesh rejected Ishtar's proposal and humiliated her, which angered Ishtar.]

[Ishtar, through her methods, released the Bull of Heaven, attacking the mortal world, which led to the death of Gilgamesh's friend, Enkidu.]

[Of course, historical studies offer different interpretations of this story: Ishtar is a symbolic representation of Ishtar's priests, and Enkidu and Gilgamesh fought over "Ishtar" but eventually allied to face the Bull of Heaven tribe.]

[The story of the divine era is clearly based on the first interpretation.]

[But no matter which version of the story, you can't help but feel sad.]

[Your heart pounds.]

[At this moment, you realize what's in your heart.]

[That hidden emotion in the corner, which has never been valued.]

[Yes, you may have gotten used to being around Ishtar for so long, but your body and your emotions won't allow it; something unique remains unique no matter where it is.]

[So, you realize the intense feelings you have for Ishtar.]

[In simple words.]

["Freaking hell! This goddess is mine and mine alone to seduce!"]

[Villains often have a strong sense of possessiveness, whether it's for lovers, friends, or possessions, let alone the oldest and most beautiful goddess in front of you.]

[At this moment, you know exactly what you should do.]

[Although you're unsure of the current state of the myth in the mortal world.]

[How many times has Ishtar been humiliated, does Gilgamesh or Enkidu know?]

[You don't know.]

[But you do know, as long as you stand with Ishtar and carry out violent acts, you can definitely make yourself a villain remembered through the ages.]

[You will be a god infamous for your evil deeds.]

[In the future, countless stories, and countless revolutionary speeches will carry your name.]

[Your eyes burn with intense light as you embrace Ishtar, pulling the seemingly fragile goddess into your arms.]

"Ishtar, whoever has made you said they will pay. I'll take revenge for you!"

Although it's a bit displeasing, the story still develops like this but at least now you have a reason to step into the scene. To participate in the waves of history.

"Gilgamesh, he…"

Before Ishtar could utter another word, Susa covered her lips with his, tightly taking her senses. It certainly startled Ishtar, but sensing a familiar and close aura, she unexpectedly didn't resist.

Ishtar never lets go of mortals who defy her or disrespect her.

She would even destroy the world with her wrath, and it was entirely normal for her to bring about apocalyptic waves. However, when it comes to someone she has known for a long time, someone she created as a god or someone who believes in her, Ishtar can't maintain the pride she usually holds when dealing with mortals or the weak.

The one holding her is her believer, almost like her child. More importantly, this person dares to speak words that make the proud goddess, the goddess of love, feel embarrassed—such as calling her "my beloved Ishtar."

Ishtar doesn't know how to respond.

In Susa's embrace, their breaths intertwine, and after some time, their lips separate with a single sliver string hanging between their lips.

"Gilgamesh...!"

Hearing Ishtar's last words, Susa's eyes flashed with a cold light. He held Ishtar with one arm and raised his arm in the air. Before long, a spear flew right into his hand.

Just as he had thought before, this foolish goddess could only be bullied by him.

Susa lowered his voice, "Don't worry, Ishtar, you are the lofty, supreme goddess, and I will be your protector. If you want this world to be destroyed, I will blow the horn of the end of the world for you. If you want someone to live, I will beg the Queen of the Underworld on your behalf. If the god-king on the sacred mountain is your enemy, I will crush the sacred mountain. If any mortal ruler dares to insult you, I will duel him in the wilderness. All of this is for you, my goddess, my beloved Ishtar!"

Susa spoke with a strong, resolute voice.

Ishtar was momentarily stunned and couldn't help but snuggle closer into Susa's embrace. However, considering her image as a goddess, she quickly pulled away and scolded, "I've told you so many times, you're still too weak. How could you protect me?"

"But whether strong or weak, I'm willing to protect Ishtar," Susa replied seriously. Usually, Susa wouldn't argue with Ishtar, but today, his words were earnest.

Ishtar was stunned. What is this thing?

"No matter what Ishtar has faced, any enemy of Ishtar is my enemy. Wherever Ishtar directs her gaze in anger, that will be the battlefield I fight on. I possess a portion of Ishtar's authority as the Goddess of War, so I will be the War God who belongs only to Ishtar."

Susa gently bit his lip, making Ishtar gazed at him, her eyes flickering.

"So, tell me, Ishtar, please allow me to fight for you."

Ah~!

Sure enough, he is her believer. Such a sincere confession moved Ishtar deeply. The tears in her eyes had vanished without her noticing. She stared at Susa for a full fifteen minutes but didn't see any falsehood in his eyes. His gaze toward her was as serious as hers.

Ishtar raised an eyebrow, breaking into a cute smile.

Hands on her hips, she pointed at Susa, "I told you, you're weak! Otherwise, none of this would've happened! And I didn't get bullied. I just heard someone say you were a little angry. They said you're useless. They said you're my… illegitimate child. Impossible, right!"

Ishtar turned a little red.

"So this is all your problem. I'm a proud and noble goddess. I'm only angry because you're my subordinate and defended me. Don't overthink it."

Ishtar then coughed before continuing, "I originally planned to handle it myself, but that old geezer, Enlil, stopped me."

Ishtar then turned and looked into his eyes. Finally, she decided to grant him his wish.

"Never mind, though. You've been training for a long time. It's time for you to put in some real effort. Since you're willing to help me bring about the world's destruction, as your goddess, I command you to defeat Gilgamesh and show him the consequences of disrespecting a god."

[You feel that the proud Ishtar seems like an annoying little demoness, but surprisingly, you don't dislike her.]

[You also notice that the story seems to have changed—Ishtar hasn't fallen for Gilgamesh.]

[Yet, you've been humiliated by Gilgamesh, and now you must fight him…]

[A bloody battle is incoming!]
