Fairy Tail: Sun Eater

Ben started his physical training. He trains with his basic training like usual, but he adds more weight to his training. His current strength is very high for a human, and he can lift 500 kg weight like he lifts a dumbell.

That's why for his training, Ben use boulders that have very heavy weights ranged from 500 kg to 1000 kg. These boulders are from the rocky mountain behind their village. Of course, he asks Roubaul to carry these boulders with magic.

Ben starts his training by running, push up, squatting, etc while carrying weights. While doing physical training, he also trains his MP control & capacity. He flows Ethernano all over his body like when he train in the cave for 1 year.

The flowing Ethernano will strengthen his cells, including his muscles. It will boost his strength and can be count as cheating, but it's fine because he still trains until he runs out of energy and can't move again.

Ben keeps pushing himself in his training to gain maximum results. He knows that to grow stronger, he needs to surpass his limit. This is what Ben always did in all his training and if possible, his battle.

3 days later on Friday, he have his lone job with high difficulty. His current job is to destroy a Dark Guild that has attacked some villages & kill all the villagers. Ben is allowed to kill the Dark Mages by the Magic Council because they're too dangerous.

Ben tries to trace the Dark Guild's location and finally finds it on Saturday night. They hide deep in the forest at the south of Oshibana. Ben finds them when they do a ritual to call a demon from the Book of Zeref.

There're 25 people in this group, but Ben can feel that all of them are weak. However, even if they're weak, they're still a lot stronger than normal people that became their target.

"Are you guys the Black Hand guild?"-Ben approach the people who wear black cloaks to cover their body

"!? WHO ARE YOU?"-Mage 1

"Just answer my question!"-Ben gather his MP

"Indeed we are Black Hand Guild, did you want to join?"-Mage 2

"Did I want to join you? Well, maybe in the afterlife. But you need to go first."-Ben

Ben raises his hands in front of him and opens his palms. Then a yellow magic circle appears on his palms.

"Sun Dragon's Light Rays!"-Ben

Multiple light beams come out from the magic circle. The beams attack the dark mages that haven't prepared for a battle. Ben takes out many dark mages with this attack because all of them are weak mages.

"Ugh, damn you, I won't let you leave this place alive. Brothers, let's show him the power from the Book of Zeref!"-Mage 3

The mages suddenly flow their magic power to the black book in the middle of the small altar. Ben tries to stop them, but he is too late because they act fast.

The magic letters engraving on the altar suddenly lit up with dark red color. Ben has a bad feeling, so he takes some steps back. His action is right because suddenly many black tendrils come out from the altar and grab the dark mages.

"What are those tendrils? Tch, who cares, I'll attack before the process complete."-Ben

Ben takes a deep breath and gathers MP in his mouth.

"Sun Dragon's Roar!"-Ben

Ben spew a big amount of sun energy toward the altar in the hope to destroy it. But the tendrils suddenly move and cover the altar. The tendrils place the mages in front of the altar to protect it.

"Damn, it uses the dark mages as shields."-Ben

Ben's Roar only hit the dark mages and defeat all of them completely now. None of these mages die so far, but they've got really weakened by all the damage they get.

But suddenly a horrifying scene happen. The tendrils become sharp on their tips and stab the dark mages. Then the tendrils absorb the dark mages' blood & body fluid. They even absorb the remaining MP, make the dark mages turn into empty husks.

Ben tries to attack again with a Sun Bomb, but the tendrils cover the altar again. The tendrils are very tough and get tougher after absorbing the dark mages.

Suddenly, an eerie aura appears from the altar. Ben can feel it and know that it is too late to stop the process now. He can only stop this by defeating the Etherious that come out from the altar.

"Hihihihi, HAHAHAHA, FINALLY I CAN GET OUT, HAHAHA!"-Etherious

The Etherious finally show itself on the altar. It is a One-Eyed creature with a balls-like body and many tendrils. Its skin is purple, the eye pupil is red, and its teeth are sharp. It also floats on the air because it doesn't have legs or even hands, only tendrils.

"A Beholder?"-Ben

"Hihihi, you must be the one who try to interrupt my birth just now, despicable. I will not let such offense pass by, that's why I will eat you to strengthen myself, HAHAHA."-Beholder

"Try it!"-Ben

Ben gets ready to fight the Etherious alone. This might be his hardest battle, but this also can be his chance. This Etherious might use Curse, not magic, so he can learn it. Furthermore, a hard battle is the best method to grow.

But even though Ben is excited by the good possibility, he is still serious. He can die if he's not serious. This Etherious is very strong for the current him.

The Beholder suddenly shoots its tendrils at Ben. Ben runs & jumps to the side to dodge the attacks. While dodging, he also gather MP in his mouth.

"Sun Dragon's Light Roar!"-Ben

Ben shoots a light beam from his mouth toward the Beholder. The light roar is very fast, so the Beholder can't dodge. It hit, and explode upon contact, pushing the Beholder back.

The light roar also has some heat on it now after Ben improves it. The temperature of his light roar is 700 celsius, 7 times hotter than boiling water, but still far below the fire's heat.

The Beholder floats up again with some chars & dents on its skin. It's the mark of Ben's attack just now, but it's just superficial damage. Then suddenly it shed the damaged skin and regrow new skin.

"Regeneration? This will be troublesome if it keeps regenerating. I don't want this to be a battle of endurance, so I need to give it fatal damages, or even kill it with one attack. But, it won't be that easy."-Ben

The regeneration is really troublesome, and Ben didn't know the Beholder's other abilities. He needs to be extra careful now, and try to find its weakness.

'A.I Chip, keep scanning and try to find its weakness & power.'-Ben

[Understood.]

He needs a strong attack on his hands to give more damage and fast movement on his legs to dodge & evade the enemy's attacks. So Ben covers his hands with solar energy, while his feet with light energy.

This method will enhance his attacks & movements like Sun Mode. It has lower power, but it also uses less MP, so he can use it longer.

Ben starts his attack, he flashes to the Beholder. Ben moves fast and he punches with his sun energy-covered fist. The Beholder's tendrils block his punch, but the hot fist burns those tendrils.

'These tendrils can move very fast to protect the body.'-Ben

Ben moves away from there using his light feet right on time to avoid a tendril that almost catches him. Ben looks at the Beholder that regenerates its burnt tendrils and makes it new again.

"Tsk, as I thought, it's troublesome."-Ben click his tongue

"HAHAHAHA, you won't be able to injure me human. Because Lord Zeref have given me, this Mreye the ability to regenerate every part of my body."-Mreye

"Your name is Mreye? Maybe it's Mr. Eye, not Mreye."-Ben try to correct the Etherious

"No, it's Mreye."-Mreye

"Are you sure? Maybe you need to check it again."-Ben is still persistent

"IT'S MREYE."-Mreye get angry and shoot a purple beam from its eye

Ben gets surprised and jumps to the side and avoids the purple beam. Mreye moves the beam to chase Ben, so Ben keeps running with his light feet. Ben then gather MP in his right hand and create a small sun ball.

"Sun Dragon's Bomb!"-Ben

Ben throws the bomb at Mreye and it explodes. Ben's attack stop Mreye from using its purple beam attack. It needs to protect its whole body with the tendrils.

After he uses the bomb attack, Ben look at where the purple beam land before. All the ground, grasses, & trees that got shot turn into grey stones.

"Petrification?!"-Ben surprised

"That's right, this is my power, Curse of Petrification."-Mreye grin
