Chapter 93: Activate the Guild House Battleship!
Harvard, needless to say, failed recruiting Tricky.
He escaped only because Tricky's battlefield design wasn't completely functional. Nonetheless, it was raining, and he was miserable. Nothing had gone right for him in the last few days! Even when he was with Tilly, it felt like he was underwater!
He was getting fed up of just waiting around for the Monsoon Kraken to attack him! He thought by this point, the Monsoon Kraken would be defeated! Could anything else bad possibly happen? Was there anything else horribly wrong that could happen today?
Harvard put some ice on his groin, Tricky had kicked him really hard there, and walked to the Candy Store. When he got there, he expected to see everyone in better spirits than him, but it seemed to be a half empty room instead of a half full one.
"Wait, where's Snow Lilly?" Harvard said, finding May Tape crying in the corner? "What happened? Why is everyone so sad?"
"Snow Lilly was kidnapped by Candy Kid." Great Styles slammed his hand into the table and wiped a tear out of his eyes. "Damn it, Hamlord! This is all your fault! If only you were a better guild leader, she wouldn't have left."
"Don't blame this all on me! I-I literally just pretended to be a girl in order to try and kidnap Tricky and failed miserably!"
"You can pretend to be a girl?" Katie said and giggled. "Hehe, can you be anyone? Can you copy Tilly's body for instance?"
"Yes, but that's not the point," Harvard said, "The point is I never agreed to be a guild leader! You all just assumed I was the guild leader when we talked about making the unnamed guild! We haven't even really made the guild yet! I'm still technically in the Palatin Guild! Ugh, and you're blaming me for Snow Lilly leaving?"
"She-she left because she thinks Dasota will. Wah! She will join our side!" May Tape said with a smile, wiping a tear from her eye. "Isn't it romantic?"
"No, it's stupid. She could die," Harvard said, shaking his head. "Where is she? Maybe if I go now, I can save her! We still have one day before the battle after all."
'I'll go with you," Katie said, grabbing her jacket. "I'm a healer, and you're an idiot. Plus, don't think you're the only one that can change what he looks like. I-I have some skills too."
"Fine, let's go," Harvard shook his head and waved to May Tape. "I'll be back with Snow Lilly guys, and maybe even find out what Candy Kid is up to. Don't wait up for me, okay?"
"We trust you, Hamlord," May Tape wiped a tear off from her eye. "And I promise when you get back me and Grinning Sword will have our side of the battlefield done. You can bet her butt on that."
"Sounds good, May," Harvard waved and left the room. "Now, let's go invade the Monsoon Kraken's palace. And on the way, we can finally test out that Guild House of ours!"
###
Harvard took out the Port Battleship All Terrain Guild house for the first time.
He was by the ocean where he met the Underwater Bandit King because he figured the Monsoon Kraken's underwater palace had to be close by. He smiled, and watched the item that took up over 5 spaces in his inventory appear in front of him.
Boom!
A ship that seemed to be over 10 meters tall fell down in front of him on the edge of the beach. His and Katie's eyes shot open widely while he saw what appeared to be a warship appeared in front of him. However, looks could be deceiving. He walked into the golden doorway and sure enough when he went inside it was completely unfurnished. Just like he expected.
"It has cannons and over 10 bedrooms! It even has an antigravity generator and a jakozee! You want to try it out with me?"
"We-we have to focus," Harvard looked at Katie and shook his head, "Do you know how to get it moving?"
"In my last life, not only was a beautiful woman, but I loved to take ships out to sea. My father had been a captain, and because of him, there isn't a single thing about a boat I don't know. Why? You giving me permission to be the first mate," Katie winked at him, and somewhat blushed while she looked into Harvard's eyes. She could still remember kissing Tilly because of him and it made her smile. "Hehe, by the way, are you really able to turn into anyone you want to?"
"Yes, but only for fifteen minutes," Harvard sighed and pointed over at the steering wheel. There was a round generator next to it that had a slot for Lograms. Now… any idea how this thing moves? Please tell me it's not powered what I think it's powered by.
"Unfortunately, you're correct," Katie smiled and rubbed her fingers together while a beautiful smile appeared on her face. "It's powered by Lograms, but don't worry! It's actually pretty inexpensive to get around! Only 1 Logram per hundred meters."
"That… that means 100 Lograms for a kilometer. Whatever," Harvard sighed and looked in his inventory. Luckily, he got over 500,000,000 Lograms when he raided the Great Sealed Dungeon. It-it wouldn't be that expensive, right? I mean, how far could the Monsoon Kraken's palace possibly be? "Anyways, Saving Snow Lilly and Candy Kid is more important than worrying about the cost of the trip to get there. Anyways, yes, I give you full permission to be the first mate of this ship, just don't get us lost," Harvard gave Katie 100,000 Lograms and then received a kiss on the cheek before she rushed to the steering wheel in the center of the hull. "Ugh, at least from behind, she seems like a normal person, but why do I have a feeling this is going to go terribly wrong."
