Eleven Days My Queen!

Dawn had struck and the Queen's residence was already stirring with activity. Seol Na had woken to Court Lady Eunchae telling her that handmaid Shin Eun Ji had something important to give her. She wondered what it could be,but laying on her table was the bottle,she had forgotten about. The king's drug.

She had stolen the bottle from the king's collection some time ago,to have it tested. But Shim Bbangu was struggling to find anything related to it,as the drug was rare, and there little information available at the time . She she pushed it aside for sometime now, but it looks like Shim Bbangu cracked it down. She had wanted to know everything about the drug for so long because of king's blatant refusal to say a word about it or the reason why he took it, she just knew he took it every single day, even before they got married. She remembered the lantern festival, when she had mistakenly dropped the bottle,in the lake.

Young Seol Na had to spend evening indoors even though it was the lantern festival,her father was out of the capital so he warned the servants and house keeper not to let her outside,because at the time, rogues kidnapped girls from affluent families for ransom. Young Seon Teo ho II,had sneaked into the residence to get her out after sneaking out from the palace himself. So they spent the night out,having a lot of fun until it was time to ride the couples' boat.

Unfortunately for them,niether knew how to steer a boat and with no servants to guide them, the boat tipped over sending them both in the cold dark lake. The shock of the water was immediate,drenching them as they both struggled to stay afloat. In the chaos ,Seol Na's hand brushed against something. She reached out grabbing a tightly closed black bottle. But in the struggle to stay afloat, her fingers slipped, and it was lost to the lake,when they got to shore with the help of the boat owner. Seon Tae ho,started searching for something,it turned out to be the black bottle she lost,the bottle was no longer floating,it had sunk. Tae ho jumped in again,into the lake were they had almost drowned. Unable to find it and back to shore again she had demanded he told her what was inside the bottle,that was so important he had to risk his life again,but he didn't say a word,remaining tight lipped.

When he returned her home,neither of them spoke to the other. It wasn't until later she found out the bottle contained a drug he took everyday ,though she wasn't sure for what sickness.

That was the first time she saw it and after they got married, when she found out how much the king depended on it, she made it her mission to uncover everything about this mysterious drug.Picking the bottle from the table she peeled the tag on it was written. Cheongnyeonghwa_Green spirit flower.
