Chapter 11. The White Saints
I wiped my mouth after I took the energy from the last slave trader in front of me.
"Wake up, my slave," I ordered.
The slave traders that were lying on the floor opened their eyes, stood up and knelt to me.
"My Queen, we will serve you ..."
I had just smiled in satisfaction, but suddenly I could feel a number of people with quite strong magic power heading towards us. I gasped in surprise, my servants could feel it too. I know who they are. The White Saints, the Kingdom of Aeros' demon exterminators.
"I forgot to cover up my demonic aura, " I turned my gaze to my servants.
"I just turned them into a demon, their power isn't enough to deal with them."
I turned to Vance.
"Sir Vance, show them another way out of here."
"Yes, My Queen," he replied.
"Lilieth, how about you?" Irien asked worriedly.
"They are just a low-ranking army. I can deal with them myself. Go! I will catch up with you later," I said.
"Be careful," Irien said as she followed the others to leave.
I closed my eyes trying to feel their magic power. I stepped out of the prison and my hair formed a tight outfit that covered my body from my neck to my feet. A hood covered my head, making my face unclear. I opened my eyes.
"Five people... I'll take care of them before the reinforcement comes."
I walked down the corridor to a large room. They came from the opposite door and immediately surrounded me.
"Demon! No wonder I smell a foul smell from this building."
I laughed evilly after hearing his words.
"Sir, the stench is not mine. But yours, " I provoked.
They took out their weapons that were made of refined silver, white light enveloped the weapons on their hands. Meanwhile, my fingernails extend as hard dark skin covers my hands. The power of darkness enveloped my body.
As on cue they lunged at me and swung their weapons. But before they reached me, I disappeared before their eyes and appeared on the other side of the room with an evil smile. My hand holds a piece of hand that is broken from its shoulder.
"Did anyone lose this?" I asked casually.
One of them screamed in pain when he realized that hand was his, fresh blood gushed from the wound on his shoulder. While the others looked shocked since my movements were completely invisible to them.
I threw away that piece of hand and licked the fresh blood that flowed between my fingers, my eyes staring intently at them.
"Who's next?"
They directed their hands at me. The light that comes out of there formed a white chain. 'Holy Chain' is used to bind demons to immobilize them.
I dismissed their 'Holy Chain' with my claws easily, their 'Holy Chain' was too weak to catch me. I dashed towards one of them. He had just raised his weapon to attack me but suddenly I was already behind him. This time my hands held two pieces of hands, one of them was still holding a weapon.
That person immediately screamed in pain when he realized his hands were gone. Without wasting time, the others rushed in and swung their weapons towards me while their other hands glowed white formed a shield to protect themselves from my attacks. I threw away the piece of hand in my hands and charged at them. With one swing from my claw, both of their hands separated, then I quickly bent down and swung my claw horizontally, cutting off my enemy's legs in front of me. Before he fell down, I rolled forward past him.
Screams of pain filled the room. Some of them tried to escape. I chased and lunged at them. Strike them down one by one before I crashed my lips on them, sucking up their energy until nothing left.
I stood up as I looked at the mum-dried body before me.
"It tastes bitter and unpleasant."
As a high succubus, I can take energy from humans without having to make love with them. But their energy's taste will be bad, like a bitter soup and it will be difficult for me to digest it. If I consume too much, I will lose my power balance and die. Besides, the person who is forcibly taken by me will die dry like them.
"If I do it too often, they will suspect my movements and Reyn might find out that I'm still alive."
I closed my eyes trying to feel the presence of Irien and the others, then I swept my gaze around me making sure there were no eyewitnesses before catching up with them.
