Chapter 10
Mark switched to the Skill tree tab and thought on where to put his new skill point. He was thinking of putting it on Plant Mage so he can get the Goodberry skill. He needed to have a healing skill, again because of his fear of pain, but then thought that maybe he should try to get Void Bolt first for much better offense. Upon thinking for a bit, he decided to put it on Telekinesis so he would be able to add to Void Bolt as soon as possible. When he added the point to the Skill, the description updated and it now stated that he will be able to move up to two kilogram of things with his mind and up to ten feet.
Mark was a bit glad because now his offense will be much better and much farther making him more safer. He stood up and went down to the second floor of the dungeon again. When he reached the area of his first battle, he noticed his two knives on the floor and one of his metal rod where the goblin died. He picked those up using his mind and after cleaning them using the ground, he put the rod back to his belt and held the knives. Once he checked that his MP was full, he continued walking. He remembered to get one more screw driver from his inventory since he did not know where the first one that he threw went. He also remembered to double check if there were any drops from the goblin and there were none, even the knife it was holding disappeared.
Mark walked slowly again, making sure to take his time. He definitely felt the increase in Vitality since his breathing was much easier compared to before. Because of this, he planned to spread his stats evenly but making sure that his Intelligence and Wisdom were much higher. He again noticed a lone goblin again while he was walking, and this time he walked resolutely towards it while wielding five weapons. When the goblin noticed him, it growled like the first one and ran towards him. When it was about ten feet, Mark kinetically threw two rods towards its face to give the rod better momentum but since it was within ten feet, it was very accurate. He controlled the rods and after hitting both its eyes, he pushed the rods forcefully increasing the MP consumption and then the rods slid inside and reached its brain. The goblin died.
Making sure that there were no other enemies, he went to the corpse and waited a bit. A glowing blue ball appeared where the goblin died when the corpse burst like glowing soap bubbles. “Well that’s new,” Mark thought. After picking up his weapon, he picked the glowing ball and then nothing. He was stupefied a bit and wondered what happened and then he remembered the setting he made for his notification. He checked the Notification Window when he opened his System Interface and it did state that he received a skill point. Mark was happy of the very first drop that he got although he realized that he did not level up. Thinking about it, it was very normal. It will take more experience for him to level up the further he progressed. He switched to the Skill Tree tab and added the new skill point to Telekinesis. Now he can wield up to three kilogram of weight and up to fifteen feet. He also saw that the Void Bolt lit up, meaning he can now add points to it.
