Chapter 40: Chapter 39: New Summon
Chapter 39: New Summon
"Alright let's do this!" Naruto said, once we left his mindscape, as he bumped his fist into his palm.
As he began to take on the form of Kurama Chakra mode, Hinata went around closing all the curtains of the room.
Buzz was currently watching the spectacle while sitting on Tom's head, and Steel was floating right beside me.
As Naruto began to glow in a light goldish color, Tom put on some sunglasses as if he was watching a movie and passed them to Buzz too.
Naruto proceeded to sit in a meditative posture and slowly but surely the sage rings began to form around his eyes.
As they did, I didn't know how to explain it, but Naruto's 'presence' got larger and the weight he had on the world felt heavier.
Maybe it was because this was the peak of his power, so the atmosphere just felt heavier.
"I am ready." He said, as he stood up and motioned for me to get ready too.
I nodded at him as Steel merged with me.
As we both merged, I concentrated on my reserves of Fusion Energy.
It was like an ocean, which had both Turbo Energy and Chakra just flowing together seamlessly and merging together endlessly.
I tapped into the said ocean, which I typically channeled through Steel and brought the whole thing out at once.
As I transformed into my Steel suit, an intense Blue-Aura began to surround me as Steel and I controlled and kept our energy stable.
Naruto then raised his arm, and manipulated his Chakra to begin connecting with my Fusion Energy.
Sage Chakra, Turbo Energy and normal Chakra all began to merge together as I felt my connection to the system as well.
It was just a small part of my being, something I could barely sense but was still there, as if it would be there for all time.
As I sensed the connection, I pushed all of the energy that was being channeled into me through the connection.
It felt like a hole was opened inside of a dam, since all the energy I had instantly began to become sucked out, but this time the strain on me was way less.
I could visibly see the rings around Naruto's eyes lessen, and his golden Chakra cloak also became thinner.
I was in a similar situation, as I felt my ocean of Fusion energy disappear and get sucked into the system.
However it didn't take long for a familiar notification to pop up for me.
Something that somehow felt a little calming for my soul, as the energy drain also stopped.
[Wish fulfillment system has been activated again]
[Scanning host]
As I saw those texts, I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched by a colossal eye before that feeling instantly disappeared.
I felt like my secrets were all out in the open and my entire existence was judged within an instant.
[Scanning the Omni-Verse for willing being to be summoned to the host]
[The Omni-Verse has found a willing participant to be summoned by the host, which can help the host]
Usually, I would have to wait a couple of seconds before the system found me a willing participant.
But this time, it immediately told me.
Either the system already was prepared for this summon, or it was able to find the summon instantly?
…
An orphanage sat in one of the more downtrodden districts of Berlint, the capital of Ostania.
Its exterior bore the marks of neglect, with paint flaking from the walls and shutters hanging loosely on rusted hinges. A battered sign, its lettering barely legible, announced the building's purpose to passersby.
The walls, mostly bare except for a few tattered posters and children's drawings, exuded a sense of austerity. Old, mismatched furniture populated the common areas, their wooden surfaces marred by scratches and dents from years of heavy use.
The staff, though few in number, moved through their routines with a quiet dedication, their faces etched with the strain of constant effort.
Meals were simple and monotonous, yet the staff ensured that every child had something to eat.
Outside, the playground was a patch of hard earth, dominated by a pair of rusting swings and a creaky slide.
Despite its dilapidated state, it was a place of fleeting happiness for the children. Their laughter echoed across the yard as they played, momentarily lifting the heavy shroud of their circumstances.
Among them was a little girl, whose bright eyes and spirited nature stood out against the backdrop of the orphanage's bleakness.
She was a small girl, with wide and expressive green eyes and distinctive short pink hair with slight horns protruding her from her head.
She looked around with utter confusion as she saw all people around her had stopped playing and seemed frozen on the spot.
She moved carefully and by tiptoeing towards a nearby kid and tapped his cheek but he had no reaction whatsoever.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed in shock when she seemed to realize that the world was frozen in time.
As she stumbled back in surprise, she bumped into something so she turned around in shock.
What the little girl saw mesmerized her to the core.
She bumped into a man who seemed as if he was sculpted by divine hands, his perfect silver hair framing a face of flawless symmetry and chiseled features.
He had piercing ocean-blue eyes which radiated an almost ethereal intensity, capturing the essence of the timeless beauty and otherworldly aura.
The little girl's eyes sparkled as she asked in awe while clutching her tiny fists, "Mister, are you an angel?"
The man couldn't help but smile as he squatted onto the floor and made his eyes be on the same level as hers.
"Why, do I look that good?" He asked while chuckling a little.
The little girl nodded her head as if she was a chicken pecking some food.
However she then suddenly raised her head in shock as she looked at the man once again.
"Wahhhhh, you're going to let me meet my new papa?" She questioned.
The man, realizing his thoughts have been read, couldn't help but shake his head slightly.
"You should be careful who you use your powers on, Anya." The man said as the little girl flinched in shock.
She didn't expect to get caught by a random man she had just met afterall.
"Don't worry." He said as he placed his palm on her hair, which felt really warm for the little girl and she calmed down a lot.
"I won't tell anyone, it's just your lucky I can control what I am thinking. Some people in the world think too fast for you to understand and your brian will hurt a lot."
"But Anya hasn't met anyone like that yet." The little girl said in slight suspicion, wondering if people like that truly did exist.
The man seemed like he wanted to say something but then he paused for a moment and continued, "I guess you will just see in the future. Even if I tell you, you won't believe me."
Anya stared at the man with massive eyes, questioning what he was saying.
"How about I tell you a little about your new papa?"
"OKE-DOKE!"

Authors note:
Unfortunately this isn't a continuation of the fanfic. I simply had a couple of spare chapters I wanted to upload.
I am currently trying a new project, which is basically my own novel but I will be uploading it as a fanfic since honestly I write mainly for interaction with people.
I write to share ideas and run through scenarios with people, so I hope you will try my new project out.
It is called "Eternal Heir."
Do not subscribe to patreon for this fanfic anymore thanks.
