DC: Harbinger Of Death

Chapter 7: Two Years Of Changes!

After stepping out of the portal, the squad finally arrived at their home, which had underwent some noticeable changes compared to two ( 2 ) years ago.

Firstly, the house had expanded, and the area surrounding the house had naturally expanded as well. This was because after raiding bases, Kayn had found many more children, and thus, he needed to build more rooms and have more facilities, leading him to expand.

Kayn had also built a massive auditorium, where the children would receive their lessons. The newer children who just arrived would get the mandatory academic lessons on things such as Math, English, Russian, Geography, Science etc.

However, most of the older children had already reached a Degree level of knowledge in these fields and thus didn't need them. Instead, Kayn taught them knowledge he had signed in over the years to make them become useful in the field, such as:

- Espionage, Stealth, Disguise, Tracking, Infiltration, Demolitions, Hacking, Disguising, Tactical Analysis, Interrogation, Reconnaissance & Anti-Reconnaissance techniques.

It was safe to say that with Kayn's 2024 level knowledge and knowledge gained from the system, he had systematically trained these children to be absolutely elite level spies, to the point the only thing holding them back was experience.

The Garden was also massively expanded, with large fields of home grown fruits and vegetables, and a Magical Animal Unit where they held Pigs, Bears, Wolves and anything else they could it.

This was because even while buying from multiple sources, it would leave too much of a trace, and so Kayn decided to fully grow most of their own food, so their inevitable food purchases would seem normal.

Stepping into the house, the first thing that could be seen was how, "modern" it was. Kayn based his designs off of 2024 technology, and built many advanced technological systems to improve comfort.

Such as Air-Conditioning, Electric stoves, microwaves, fridges, televisions etc. He also created a clean-water filter, and a water heater, in order to allow the children to take warm showers and make daily life easier.

It wasn't only just in basic daily life things changed however. The group had also just became alot stronger. Aside from their spy skills taught by Kayn, many of the children also awakened Meta-Human abilities or their Homo-Magi bloodline.

For the Pure Humans, who didn't awaken anything special, although they were in the minority, Kayn trained them to become the brains of his operation. All of them took advanced Business Lessons.

On topics such as Economics, Finance, Business Management, Stock Trading, Consulting, Human Resource Management etc.

Kayn wanted the pure Humans to run his on the surface Businesses when the time came, gathering the organization wealth and power while also securing good lives for themselves.

His perfect organization was coming into shape.

"You're Backkk!" The kids, who were all busy watching television, spotting Kayn and his squad returning, jumping towards them and giving out huge huge of affection.

Mika immediately smiled, taking many of the children away to give them stories of their mission, something she did commonly after excursions in order to excite them.

Meanwhile, Kayn, Violet and Hugo went to the meeting room on the upper floors of the house, where they spotted Soren already awaiting them.

The group always took 4 on missions, with 1 of them remaining in order to guard the younger kids. This time, Soren was the guard, and thus, had already prepared snacks for the debriefing.

"The defenses at the base improved up a notch again. Now they have Anti-MetaHuman weaponry." Hugo spoke, laying the floor for anyone else to continue.

"The information we've been getting from bases have also been more and more useless, and this is the 3rd base in a row without any experiments, I guess that they've already adapted to us, these bases are probably shell bases, and the actual ones are hidden away." Violet spoke, giving her two cents on the situation.

In fact, this was always something that was going to happen. No matter how they hide it, Kayn and his gang were improving in power level quickly, and were annihilating any bases they found.

Thus, it was probably just APEX leaving the bases up to test their power and collect information about them.Kayn smiled at Violet's words. If he had to choose the most intelligent person amongst his ranks, it was Violet.

She had mastered all of the skills Kayn had taught her. Her Academic Knowledge was PHD level, and she had mastered all of the spy skills Kayn had taught. Plus, she was the best Magic user in the entire group aside from Kayn himself.

She was also incredibly efficient, always able to complete her tasks at maximum efficiency, which made her Kayn's favorite associate.

Kayn took a bite of the Strawberry that Soren had prepared, eating it quickly before speaking,

"We shouldn't be focusing on this. Our location is safe, protected by Mana Formations. What we should be focusing on is further into the future." As he spoke, he looked at everyone, and his eyes swept over the faces of Hugo, Violet and Soren,

"Firstly, everyone has gotten stronger over these 2 years, but it's not enough. I can't teach you forever, I can only give you guys ideas, you need to train and follow your own path."

After two years of training and learning with Kayn, all of them had improved their power massively, becoming powerful enough to easily destroy APEX bases and overwhelm enemies.

However, Kayn's training has a limit however. Every person has their own path, and although Kayn could still give them tips, tricks and ideas on how to improve themselves, but in the end, they need to take their own paths after a certain point.

"However, that's not the only thing. In a couple of years, we'll need to eventually leave here. We all need to get actual identities, go to schools and spread our influence. If we stay cooped up here the entire time, we'll become useless. Plus, I'm sure you've realized that some of them want to have semi-normal lives, especially after watching TV and Movies."

Kayn spoke, this was his big recognition.

It was simply impossible for him and his organization to stay here forever. America was the center of the SuperHero World, and Kayn also the country of wealth and influence. If Kayn wanted power, he needed to go there eventually.

Plus, they needed normal identities eventually, as no matter what, it'll eventually get boring living in the middle of nowhere.

"No need to worry about it now, Violet, you'll work on creating identities for everyone here in time for when we go to America. Also, I need you to work with the Business Operations Team to build a Business, don't make it too big, or it'll definitely get investigated by the Justice League, just large enough to give us money to live comfortably and operate in peace."

Kayn spoke and Violet nodded, exiting the room to begin her task.

"Think about what you wanna do when returning to America, what City you want to go to, our organization won't be restricted to one singular city."

Kayn spoke before leaving the room, letting the others think.

It was time the Organization began expanding!
