Lucius nodded, pleased with the addition to their forces for this battle. Then, leading the group, they set off from the hideout, heading towards the upper floors. Their group quickly started to ascend the floors, not worrying about encountering anyone at that time of night, and Lucius also possessed the spell to detect anyone and monsters. As they passed, they effortlessly killed everything the dungeon threw at them. It wasn't long before they began to see the roots of the Revira Tree.

"We're getting close," Lucius turned to the group and continued. "From now on, let me introduce you, so just watch." Lucius spoke to the leaders.

"Are we going to meet Lucius' family?!" One of the somewhat childish xenos said excitedly.

"Will they be as cool as you, Lucius?" Let, the goblin, asked curiously.

"That will depend on how we make this contact, but knowing them, it will be fine," Lucius assured with a small smile.

"That's cool, I'm ready to meet new humans!" Ray said excitedly as he flapped his wing.

"Yes, Lu-chi. We're looking forward to this!" Lyd said.

"..." Gros and Erebus remained silent but nodded.

Lucius looked at the leaders and some of the many excited xenos behind them. After all, they wanted to meet other humans, since meeting Lucius had improved their opinion of other surface inhabitants. "Let's go, we have to meet our brothers in arms in this war," Lucius said and continued up the stairs.

They emerged in Rivira, ignoring the expressions of many there who had never entered that floor before. Lucius headed to a secluded side where his family was waiting.

"It's dark now, but over a period of time, the crystal in the ceiling glows," commented one of the xenos who had been to this floor before.

"Amazing! It looks so beautiful! What is that?" Another xeno asked the elders.

"That is the city of humans; they stop at this place to rest," one of the elders explained.

"Hey, do you remember that crystal buried in the ground?" One of the xenos familiar with the place pointed to a huge crystal stuck in the location, where it was supposed to be on the ceiling.

"No, it wasn't there the last time I came here..." said the other, while this became a mystery for the xenos, not knowing that the real cause of the environmental change was the mage leading the group. But Erebus was different, still remembering the battle in his memories, yet chose to remain silent.

Ryuu was watching the area for any activity from atop a tree when she noticed Lucius approaching, but was utterly shocked by what followed him closely behind.

"Hey, elf! Is it him approaching?" Aisha asked below, noticing the group coming towards them.

"Yes." Ryuu jumped from the tree and landed beside her.

"Why that face, and I sense a large group, where did Lucius get so many people from?" Aisha murmured.

"Let's gather the others; you'll understand when you see them." She said, and upon reaching the place where all the members were, everyone waited for Lucius to approach after Ryuu notified them of his arrival.

In the middle of the clearing, they saw the mage emerging from the tree with his magelight magic, "I had imagined this face..." Lucius murmured, looking not at him but at the dozens of shadows emerging behind him entering the light, showing a bunch of monsters moving in a humanoid manner while wearing armor and weapons. Erebus was also quite intimidating with his size.

"What is this? What am I seeing?!" Daphne said, shocked.

"Lili hopes this is a summoning..." Lili commented, dazed.

"..." Welf frowned.

"This..." Cassandra stepped back in fear.

"Are these monsters?!" Bell said, frightened and with a scared face.

"Lucius-Dono. What is this?" Mikoto also asked, stunned.

"..." Haruhime stayed behind Aisha.

Now Aisha understood why Ryuu had been shocked, while Ryuu looked at Lucius with a gaze seeking answers.

Lucius sighed, standing between the xenos who looked curiously at the group but remained silent, waiting for Lucius to initiate the first contact between them. "Well, I can understand how you're surprised by this. But let me explain," he spoke and looked at the xenos before turning back to his group.

"The first thing you need to understand is that these are xenos, a different kind of creation from the dungeon," he said.

"What do you mean by that?" Aisha asked.

"What I'm about to tell is a closely guarded secret known by very few, not even families like Freya or Loki are aware of it. A few years ago, the dungeon began to create a new form of life, something similar to you and me," Lucius began, he had some theories behind this, and seeing that Xenos had memories of seeing the world outside the dungeon, it was quite likely that they were adventurers who had died in the dungeon, but this could not be proven and would also cause chaos, imagine adventurers knowing they could become monsters a few years after their death...

"Similar to us?! What do you mean by that?" Lili asked, even more bewildered.

Sighing firmly, Lucius went on to explain. "This new form of life made by the dungeon is highly intelligent and has the same emotions as any of us. They are known, as I said, as Xenos."

"Xenos," Bell murmured, looking at all the armed monsters who had yet to speak, just looking on, waiting for Lucius to introduce them first.

"Yes, I know it's hard to understand, but it's also hard to explain. We don't know the origins of why they were born, nor do they themselves know. But one thing I'm sure of, I've met them some time ago, and consider them friends, after all, they've saved my life and we've fought together several times, bleeding together as well," Lucius said with some confidence.

"Lu-chi!!" Lyd couldn't hold back and started to cry out loud.

"Calm down, Lyd! We should wait for Lucius to finish!" Ray said beside him, comforting his friend.

"LUCIUS!!!" A collective shout from the excited monsters spoke at the same time while they cried like babies.

The Hestia family looked bewildered once again, they were still trying to process everything Lucius had said, but seeing the monsters crying over Lucius's words left them open-mouthed.

"Lili must be dreaming..." Lili said.

"Man, what a crazy night..." Welf scratched his head.

"Ehh....." Bell moaned, looking at those emotional creatures.

Lucius tried to ignore the commotion behind him and turned back to the group. "Anyway, I've called them our allies in this fight, I trust them with my life and hope you can accept them, after all, we have a common enemy," Lucius concluded, looking at each member of the Hestia family.

The group was still looking, not quite knowing what to say. After all, they had never heard anything about this and much less seen, finding it very hard to process everything they had heard and were seeing.

Haruhime swallowed hard, stepping out from behind Aisha and looked at Lucius. "If Mr. Lucius trusts them, then I will trust them too," she said, making Lucius look at her fondly.

"Yes, if Lucius has decided this, then I will also believe in him as he believes in me!" Cassandra spoke timidly.

Ryuu looked serious and just nodded.

"Well, this story of monsters talking and being like us, it's very strange, however, I trust you," Welf commented to Lucius, who nodded in satisfaction to the blacksmith.

"Lili still can't believe it, but she trusts Mr. Lucius too," Lili commented.

Aisha remained silent but nodded like Ryuu. The same could be said about Delphine. "Do we have a choice?" She said in agreement.

Bell nodded like everyone else. "Yes, I trust Lucius. He always knows the best path to follow, I'm sure this time won't be different," Bell concluded.

"Well, then let's move on to the introductions," Lucius finally said, and looked at the Xenos who were still crying a bit. But at that moment, they smiled satisfied after hearing such words.

"Do you want to do this?" Lucius asked, and Lyd stepped forward with a reptilian smile. 

"Hello, surface dwellers. I am Lyd! It's a pleasure to meet Lucius's friends, we are his friends too!" The armored lizard seemed very excited as he approached.

Lucius was amused watching Bell hesitating as Lyd approached fearlessly, Bell hesitated for a while as Lyd extended his hand. Bell finally raised his hand with everyone looking.

"Hello, I'm Bell Cranel..." Bell stuttered but made his introduction.

Lyd widened his smile even further and exclaimed in front of everyone, "Bell-chi! It's a great pleasure!!!"

This made all the xenos look over with excited expressions as they began to approach the group, just as they did with Lucius the first time, surrounding the group and starting to chatter.

"Hello, humans, I'm Cag!..." said a frog.

"Hi, I'm Vic, very nice to meet you!" said a cat, wielding two daggers.

"Hey, are you a friend of Lucius? He's a great friend of mine," said a plant woman, moving her leaves.

"I'm Ray!!" said the harpy woman, fluttering her wings excitedly.

"Your ears are real, they're as cute as mine!" said Arles, while Haruhime was trying to protect her ears.

The Hestia familia group was left speechless, not knowing how to react to so many monsters looking at them curiously while asking strange questions.

"They seem to be getting along well..." Rebus approached Lucius, his steps making the ground shake. Lucius nodded and saw that his familia soon began to open up to the xenos, but there was something more important at the moment. "Well, folks, it's good to see you getting along," Lucius made everyone look at him and continued. "But now let's focus here,"

He wanted to make the seriousness of the situation clear that night, "We're going to war, so better get ready, we can't waste much time here," Lucius said, and a serious atmosphere took over the place, leaving everyone nodding in agreement.

"Yes!! We should get to know our new friends later, first let's deal with the hunters!" Lyd spoke up and all the xenos quickly roared in agreement.

"Alright, now to Knossos, follow me!" Lucius said, and the group started moving as he led, using clairvoyance magic to find the door.

They entered a dense forest and followed the path until they finally found a staircase with a yellow structure and a door at the end of the stairs.

"So this is where they always came out..." Ryuu couldn't help but comment, seeing this place for the first time.

Lucius just nodded and took out the key he got from the Dionysus familia. But before approaching the place, his attention returned to the group behind him, starting to give a speech about what was to come.

"The moment we enter this place, there's no turning back. There will be war, explosions, and even death. That's why I want to make it clear what we're getting into. And I know it's late to say this, but it's still good to make it clear because those who don't want to enter this situation, where we can die and lose our companions, it's better to turn back," he said, looking at the faces of all his familia and the Xenos.

"Lu-chi, we're here to fight, after all, they are our enemies too. As soon as we agreed to come with you, we knew the risk. So, don't worry, we'll continue to fight by your side with our lives on the line!" Lyd said, causing all the other xenos to make animal sounds in agreement, their morale boosted for the battle.

"Well, I'm seeing a lot of crazy stuff tonight. However, one thing I'm sure of: I'm here to fight this war, whatever happens behind that door. Let's fight," Welf said, grabbing his magic sword as he unrolled his scroll, ready to use.

"Alright, then let's get started. Today we'll eradicate a large part of Evilus still in Orario," Lucius said with a somber voice, then taking the key before inserting it into the lock and turning it. It didn't take long to hear a click and the door began to open. It was the beginning of a long battle that would start from that entrance.
