Conqueror

Morning has come, the sun was slowly rising up, gradually lighting the whole world, telling the mortals down below, that a new day has come.

Fendrel opened its drowsy eyes, not long after Shia and Tsai came in, each carrying a tray full of food. Fendrel smiled at the two girls, then told them to place the food on the table. Then the two left the room, without saying anything.

Fendrel didn't mind the two girls character, he ate the food, after that he took a bath. The wooden bathtub already has water, Purd and Glecs always put water in the bathtub every morning.

Fendrel planned to build a new house from the system, when the village upgraded one more time. After that it will be a town, Fendrel can't help but feel exited thinking about it. A town was more advanced than the village, there were more variety of buildings to build. Since it was more advanced, it naturally more expensive. So Fendrel need to work harder, if he wanted to upgrade his town.

After Fendrel finished bathing, he left the house. And walked towards where the humans slept. Purd and Glecs also followed Fendrel, acting as a bodyguard. Fendrel didn't mind the two knight, and continue walking. Fendrel wanted to invite them to his house at first, but Lavender glared at him fiercely that time, with his burning eyes. So he immediately take that Idea out.

Why he knew where the humans sleep. Well, Fendrel ordered Black to observe the humans. Although Fendrel wanted to befriend them, he still needs to be careful. His intention was to get information on them about the humans.

It didn't take long for Fendrel to arrive. The house the humans sleep in, was built by the system. So it was pretty decent, Fendrel knocked the door then waited patiently.

It didn't take long for the other side to respond, the door began to open. The ready warm smile of Fendrel face distorted, because what greeted them, were not what he anticipated to meet. What greeted them was a goblin, the goblin who originally own the house.

"Ahem!, can I ask a question?. Where did the humans who rent your house go?." Fendrel said.

Upon seeing Fendrel, the goblin was shocked, "Greetings to your majesty" The goblin greeted Fendrel respectfully, the goblin learned from Gioz that If they saw his majesty. They needed to greet him respectfully.

Fendrel just nodded, and wait for the goblin to continue. 'Gioz really did everything he could to educate the monsters, even this goblin's human language is pretty decent"

"Your majesty, I already shoo them away, this early morning. You know, your majesty their rent time is done, hehe" The goblin said, while scratching its scalp in embarrassment. Suddenly the the goblin exclaimed as if he remembered something. "Ahh!, your majesty. I remember something. The humans said that if your majesty come, I will tell you that, they will tour the village first, before coming to you at your place to bade farewell"

"Hmm, If that's the case. Then, thank you for your assistance. I will take my leave now." Fendrel said goodbye.

"It's my pleasure, to help your majesty"

Fendrel did not return to his house, instead continued walking. He already ordered Black to find the humans, and and convey the message, that they will find Fendrel in the barracks. Well, the village was not that big. So he was not worried that Black can't find them.

But as he walked, he heard a yelling and commotion coming from the barracks. He walked towards the barracks, and found a lot of soldiers encircling something. Shouting and cheering loudly, like they were watching a heated fight.

Purd stepped forward, and plan to announced Fendrel's arrival. But Fendrel stopped him, he had some vague ideas, of what was happening. If that's the case, he don't want to interrupt their fun.

Fendrel come closer without anyone noticing, the soldiers were so focused that they don't even care about their surroundings.

Fendrel stopped when he was closed enough, he was pretty tall, so he can see even at the back. Looking ahead Fendrel saw Franco, and the human knight fighting fiercely.

The duel was pretty intense, the two was the same strength base, so everytime the twos weapon meet, it would create a shockwave. Its like a two tanks ramming at each other.

The duel continued, Fendrel can't tell who's gonna win. They didn't use any skill yet, and only used pure strength. It's only a duel so they didn't go overboard. As the fight continue, the two began to get exhausted. They eventually stopped their duel with a tie, after everything calmed down. The soldiers also began to notice Fendrel, the one who first to notice, were the soldiers in Fendrel's front.

When they looked behind them, those soldiers almost pissed in their pants. They hurriedly greeted Fendrel respectfully, and lined up to the side to make way for Fendrel.

Fendrel walked towards the humans with Purd and Glecs at his back.

"Wow, Its impressive to see someone, who can fight Franco in strength." Fendrel praised Bogish.

"Thank you for the praise, Sir Fendrel. But I know myself that, I can't compare to brother Franco strength, If he really took the fight seriously." Bogish said.

"Yeah that's right brother Bogish!, but don't worry!. You are also very strong, what about you train with me every morning." Franco said, without any shade of shame.

"I would love too, brother Franco. But my captain plan to leave today, So I really can't." Bogish said helplessly, he really like Franco. Aside from being strong, Franco was honest and straitforward person. Unlike humans, because Bogish had an experience being betrayed.

His former adventure team betrayed him, when they were in a dungeon, her leader told him his plan. First he will take the attention of the monster, while they were going to take the loot of the chest.

Since he was the shield of the group, Bogish agreed. Since he can't think of his kind leader would betrayed him, they have known each other long enough. So Bogish can't think that his leader would betrayed him. Everything was going smoothly at first, but when all the loot got taken. His leader and his two other companions, suddenly run towards the exit, with an exited expression, as if they hit a jackpot, leaving him behind.

He almost died that day, but for some unknown luck he survived. When he blocked the monster attack by his shield, he got flung onto the air like a ragdoll towards the exit. He crawled and dragged himself towards the exit, when he was finally outside he let out a long breath. The monster can't get out past the door and can only roar at him angrily. He doesn't know why the monster on the dungeon can't get out of their room, but he was thankful to that, because it save him.
