I concentrate and activate [Telepathy] and the dive right into his mind. A large wave of memories and experiences crashes into me, so I seam through the wave and just pick up the memories and information that are regularly on his mind and stop just as he leaves the base.
Wow, just wow. Who would've thought the world's most adored and powerful superhero was hiding such a deep secret?
Omni-Man is a soldier sent by the Viltrumite Empire to weaken Earth for eventual acquisition and he's also very old like B.C old.
Hah, it seems I've been underestimating him and Viltrumites as a whole. He isn't even the strongest in his race but the things I've seen him do is mind-blowing not to talk of the sheer magnitude of the Empire. They destroy fucking continents and civilizations for breakfast.
What he's been showing is just a candle, if he wants to he can take over this planet within the time it takes to say fuck.
It's declining but it's still strong enough to be the overlord of several galaxies despite the almost limitless amount of people who want to destroy the Empire and race as a whole.
So how strong is Thragg; the Emperor of this race? He hasn't seen him in action before but from the tales he's heard in the past and my own estimations, he should be at least stronger than me assuming I don't use any underhanded methods.
...I have to reevaluate this whole universe because from what I've seen, I can't be thinking of myself as the Apex predator.
This is a real eye-opener not gonna lie and honestly, I don't think I've ever been impressed like I have this time.
Viltrumites and the Viltrumite Empire...there's no bloody way I'm going to let you guys go, no matter what they are going to be mine.
About Omni-Man, he can continue doing what he does, I don't care but he's not taking this planet under my watch. It's mine after all.
If only my [Mind Manipulation] was overpowered like some people I know, like this will be a lot easier but it's still growing and hopefully, it will reach the level I need.
I can control him but it won't last, rewriting won't work since his mind is very strong after thousands of years of tempering and he has been brainwashed from childhood to adulthood so if I want to try then he has to be unconscious and that's easier said than done.
No worries, everything takes time and needs to be done patiently and carefully. He is more valuable than he is right now and it's not like I'll need him to take what I want.
I have my ways.
Sensing him leave the range of my awareness, I turn around with a cold smile and walk toward the lounge.
After a few minutes, I leave the corridor and arrive inside the lounge. It is a large blue-painted marble tiled room with four couches arranged to face each other, a wide flat screen television on the wall facing the couches, a foosball together with a snooker table, a basketball hoop attached to the left side wall, and large aquarium nestled on a stand at the back of the couches.
Black Sampson, Green Ghost, and War Woman are the only ones present in the room; they are all in their respective suits.
Sampson and Green Ghost are busy watching a basketball game while War Woman is sitting on the other sofa cleaning and polishing her golden mace.
"Hey, guys, what's up?"
I greet them with a smile as I walk to the couches, making them turn their heads to look at me.
"Nothing much, just catching up with the game. What about you?"
Sampson replies with a smile as Green Ghost and War Woman smile in response.
"Just came back from another mission, Cecil really knows how to wring a man dry. By the way where's the rest of the crew?"
I snicker and ask as I make myself comfortable near War Woman on the couch.
"Immortal is going to visit his wife in the hospital. Rush, Aquarus, and Martian are in their rooms, and Darkwings has gone to Midnight City, something about a crazy magician."
War Woman answers with a smile while still polishing her mace.
"Oh okay, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm moving out."
I say, and this makes all over stop to look at me.
"I think I heard something like this from Darkwing, sigh, I'm going to miss you V just remember to visit us once in a while."
Green Ghost sighs in a regretful tone.
"Yeah, don't forget to visit us. I'm really going to miss your 'Immortal' jokes, they always bring tears to my eyes."
Sampson playfully remarks, making all of us chuckle.
"Don't worry, we will probably meet more often than not on the field so you won't be forgetting this face anytime soon plus I don't think I can abstain from 'Mr. President' for too long."
I smirk, and this makes them laugh as they remember all the jokes I made about Immortal.
In just a week, I've been able to make all the Guardians like me even Ser Edgelord Darkwing, to be honest, it was too easy.
The only one who has a problem with me is Immortal and ever since I found out about his history, I've always made fun of him.
Not that I hate him, it's just that I find his dislike for me a little bit hilarious.
"Before you go let's have one last spar, this time I'm going to beat you."
She proposes with an arrogant smirk as she stops polishing her mace.
"Sure, why not. I've got some time to kill before I leave."
I shrug and get up from the couch, she gets up the next second soon after.
"Have fun guys, remember to use protection."
Green Ghost jokes, making Sampson chuckle as War Woman rolls her eyes.
I shake my head and leave the lounge together with War Woman.
We walk in comfortable silence and arrive minutes later inside the advanced training room designed to withstand the use of superpowers.
It is a large and wide cube-shaped white room with lockers embedded on the wall that is on the left side of the room right after you enter.
She heads to one of the lockers and proceeds to remove her golden helmet, gloves, neck guard, and boots. She then puts them inside the locker together with her mace and closes it.
"Stop staring and prepare yourself."
She says with a smirk, stopping me from admiring her body. After losing her armor, she is now left with a white monokini-like dress that emphasizes her large breasts and ass, her smooth white thighs, and her hourglass athletic body.
Weirdly enough in her customs, warriors when about to spar have to lose their armor and reveal parts of their skin to make the fight more physical...not that I'm complaining since I quite like the view.
Shaking my head with a smile, I snap my fingers. This makes the upper part of my suit crumble to tiny numerous pieces and move into my pants, revealing my ripped upper body to her.
"That's more I like it."
She says and takes a battle stance, making me also take one.
"Let's dance."
