Bully Lord

Part-62

The crowd, initially stunned into a confused silence, erupted in a cacophony of shouts and gasps.  Some, like Coach Gin, watched with narrowed eyes, analyzing the unfamiliar yet flawless fighting style.  Others, like Mili who finally came to see his fight, was hiding behind a cluster of students, flinched at each bone-jarring impact, a mix of fear and morbid curiosity churning in her stomach.

"Whoa, did you see that? That isn't feel like James from earlier fighting anymore! Something may have click inside him." a lanky boy named Alex exclaimed to his friends, his voice laced with a mixture of awe and apprehension.

"No cap, what was that? It was like he was possessed or something," chimed in Sarah, a girl with fiery red hair, her eyes wide with disbelief.

A group of upperclassmen, known for their involvement in the martial arts club, huddled together, their expressions serious.  "That wasn't any fighting style I've ever seen," muttered one, his brow furrowed in concentration.  "Maybe some kind of underground street fighting technique?"

"Whatever it was, it was damn effective," replied another, a hint of grudging respect in his voice.  "Sourov never stood a chance."

Meanwhile, a cluster of girls, usually oblivious to the schoolyard brawls, watched with wide eyes.  "Isn't that James? The one who stood up for Mili a couple weeks ago?" whispered one, her voice barely above a murmur.

"Yeah, I can't believe he just beat Sourov," replied her friend, her voice trembling slightly.  "He's, like, a pro fighter from movie now, right?"

The question hung in the air, unanswered.  The image of James, his body moving with inhuman precision, lingered in their minds, a strange mix of fear and admiration swirling within them.

The fight descended into a one-sided display of dominance.  Following the Snake Jabs, James' body unleashed the Thunder Clap Slap – a powerful open-handed strike that resonated with a sharp crack across Sourov's jaw.  The bigger boy stumbled back, momentarily stunned, his face contorted in pain and disbelief.

The final blow came in the form of a perfectly executed Kangaroo Cut Uppercut, a technique James had only glanced at in the martial arts book.  His body pivoted with unnatural speed, his fist rising in a devastating arc that connected with Sourov's chin with a sickening thud.

The impact sent Sourov crashing to the ground, a groan escaping his lips as he lay motionless.  Silence descended once more, broken only by James' ragged breaths.  His body, its movements now sluggish, stood poised over the fallen Sourov.

The crowd erupted in a cacophony of reactions.  "Holy crap! Did James just win?" yelled a surprised voice from the back.  A collective gasp rippled through the group as Coach Gin rushed towards the downed Sourov, checking for signs of injury.

"Looks like the little guy has a hidden bite," muttered a senior student, a hint of grudging respect in his voice.  "Never thought I'd see Sourov get beat like that."

A group of girls huddled together, their eyes wide with disbelief.  "Did James just use some kind of super move?  That was insane!" one whispered, her voice trembling with excitement.

"I can't believe it! Maybe James isn't such a wimp after all," chimed in another, a newfound respect shining in her eyes.
