Chapter 78: Chapter 78 : Something Happened
"Now it's your turn," Felix directed his gaze at the two bosses with a wicked grin as he slowly walked towards them.
Faint arcs of violet lightning flickered around his body.
----------------------------
Outside the Dark Vault Dungeon, a group of Adventurers were getting ready to enter the dungeon.
Juat then Suddenly, the portal of the dungeon started fluctuating violently.
Those near the portal looked shocked and quickly moved away. The guards surrounding the portal had serious expressions on their faces.
"What's going on? Is there going to be a dungeon break now?" one Adventurer asked.
"I don't think so. Dungeon breaks don't happen at this time," another replied.
"You are right but what's happening, why is the portal fluctuating so violently?
"I don't maybe something happened inside the dungeon "
As they discussed, the portal continued to fluctuate and the space around it started cracking. Luckily, the seals around the portal quickly repaired the cracks.
Suddenly, pillars of blinding lights lit up at the entrance of the portal, blinding those nearby.
When the lights faded, a group of injured Adventurers appeared. Some were covered in soot and burns, some were unconscious, and others were seriously injured.
The Adventurers at the entrance of the Dark Vault Dungeon were shocked to see the state of the Adventurers.
"What happened to them? Why are they so injured?" one Adventurer asked.
"It looks like something serious happened inside the dungeon," another replied.
" What happened to you guys?".A soldier approached the injured Adventurers.and asked what had happened.
"Fuck! Someone or something destroyed half of the first floor of the dungeon?" One Adventurer, with fear in his eyes said.
"You mean someone destroyed the first floor of the Dark Vault Dungeon?" the soldier asked, confused.
"All I know is that while my companions and I were busy hunting Dark Spirit Spiders in the dark forest, the ground suddenly started shaking. Huge pillars of flames shot into the sky and burning meteorites smashing down on the forest, destroying half of it. We were all seriously injured due to the shockwaves " the adventurers explained with fear in his eyes. He almost died inside the dungeon.
The soldier listened with a serious face and thought for a moment before saying," It might be someone casting a powerful spell".
"I don't care whether is a spell or not I just want to get out of here " the Adventurer waves his hand as he quickly limped away fear written all over his face.
The other Adventurers who were a distance away listened with shock and disbelief as they looked at each other. Explore more stories with m,v l'e-m|p| y r
"Damm can someone be so powerful they can destroyed half of the dark forest with just a spell ".
"This is simply ridiculous, I mean only Tier 3 to Tier 5 Mana Cultivators enter the Dark Vault Dungeon and the last time I heard no Mana Cultivators under Tier 5 can cause such destruction "
"There are many anomalies in this world who cannot be comprehended by common sense "
The Adventurers discuss among themselves as they looked at the dungeon portal.
The idea of entering the dungeon have already vanished from their minds.
---------------------------
Inside the Dark Vault Dungeon.Felix slowly and calmly unsheathed his long blade. His eyes were still as water as he looked at the two bosses in the distance.
Arcs of violet lightning flickered around his body, the Mana around him started churning his aura steadily rising making the surrounding area quite heavy.
"You two move back" Felix said faintly with his eyes still locked in the two bosses.
Gwendolyn and Nixie didn't waste time and they quickly moved away from where they stood and appeared beside Trinity and Brixton a few moments later.
"Can big bro take on these two bosses?" Nixie asked worriedly.
"Don't worry big bro is really powerful, he can take them on " Brixton grinned with confidence in his eyes.
Nixie nodded and looked at Felix in the distance facing the two bosses.
The two Dark Spirit Spiders stared coldly at Felix with their eerie, dense eyes.
Screech! Screech!
Suddenly, they let out a screech and attacked him from both sides, moving so fast they looked like black blurs.
But Felix wasn't fazed. He just smiled and gripped his long blade tightly.
Tier 2 Fire Elemental Spell : Fire Clone
Tier 2 Lightning Elemental Spell : Lightning Flash
KABOOOOM!
In a thunderous boom, he vanished in a bolt of lightning, leaving a fire clone in his place.
In a flash, Felix reappeared next to one of the spiders.
He knew his fire clone wouldn't last long, so he had to act fast.
With a quick thought, he attacked the Dark Spirit Spider in front of him.
Tier 3 Knight Skill : Wild Blade : Ten Omnidirectional Slashes
Ten afterimages of Felix surrounded the spider, slashing it from all angles until it was nothing but pieces.
Felix saw his fire clone struggling with the other spider, in fact the fire clone was starting to fade.
So without wasting time he used Ten Omnidirectional Slashes and killed the last boss in the same manner as he did the first one.
In a matter of seconds, both bosses were defeated, much to the amazement of onlookers.
Felix wiped the green slime off his blade and sheathed it calmly.
"Big bro I didn't expect these two bosses to be so weak" Nixie ran up to Felix and said. She looked at the two bosses minced into various parts with a disgusted face.
"Nixie it's not that these two bosses are weak but it's just that big bro is simply too powerful " Brixton said while walking towards them with Trinity and Gwendolyn behind him.
Brixton examined the severed bodies of the two bosses and shook his head in disappointment. "There's nothing of value in these gross spiders," he muttered to himself. Even their cores were filled with poison. With a sigh, he pulled out a dagger and cracked open the heads of the two Dark Spirit Spiders, revealing two fist-sized green crystals.
"Well, at least these are worth something," Brixton said with a smile as he carefully stored the crystals in his storage ring.
"What now?" Trinity glanced at Felix and inquired, "Do you want to keep raiding the remaining floors or do you think we should call it quits?"
After a brief pause, Felix replied, "Let's keep going. I want to face a tough opponent."
And so, they made their way to the second floor.
----------------------------
Time flew by, and before they knew it, five days had passed. In those five days, Felix and the rest of the group cleared each floor one by one, making their way up to the ninth floor.
They battled a variety of monsters in the Dungeon, slaying so many that it was impossible to keep track.
Their combat skills improved significantly, and they made great strides in their Cultivation.
Additionally, they collected valuable parts from the monsters they defeated, which could fetch a fortune. Overall, they made significant progress since entering the Dark Vault Dungeon.
-----------------------------
Outside the Dark Vault Dungeon, pillars of light flashed and five figures materialized in front of the portal.
These five individuals were Felix, Gwendolyn, Brixton, Trinity, and Nixie.
The adventurers and soldiers nearby just gave them an indifferent look and turned their heads away, paying them no further attention.
Felix took a deep breath and a smile appeared on his face. "I feel refreshed," he muttered.
"Well, I don't feel refreshed at all," Nixie pouted from the side.
She looked at her current appearance with a disgusted look. She was burnt in all places, with patches showing on her Mage Robe. She looked miserable.
It wasn't just her - Gwendolyn was also in the same situation, with traces of burns on her white Mage Robe and huge patches showing a great deal of her snow-white skin.
The only ones who were better off were Trinity and Brixton, as they didn't participate in this dungeon raid at all.
As for Felix, there was nothing wrong with him - just a few scratches on his white suit and a large claw mark on his chest. Other than that, he was good.
"Alright, let's head back," Felix said, and everyone nodded in agreement.
An hour later, they arrived at the Adventurer District.
They made their way to the Adventurer Guild, eager to upgrade their Adventurer Rank.
"Hey, big bro, isn't that Luma?" Nixie suddenly pointed to the entrance of the Adventurer Guild.
Felix raised an eyebrow as he observed the maid pacing back and forth with a worried expression on her face.
"Yeah, it's her. What's she doing here?" Felix asked, puzzled.
Trinity frowned and suggested, "Let's go find out."
They quickly approached the maid.
"Luma! "
Luma, who had been pacing, heard someone calling her name. She looked up, her eyes lighting up with relief as she saw Felix.
"Master Felix!" Luma exclaimed, running towards him to greet him.
Felix nodded and asked, "Luma, what are you doing here?"
Luma took a deep breath and replied, "Master Felix, something has happened."
