Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Kurosaki Ichigo
Kurosaki Ichigo, from the age of three months old, could already perceive strange energy surrounding him and inside himself.
As he grew older, Ichigo's ability to sense this energy only became stronger, allowing him to detect supernatural beings and their presence in the world.
This unique gift not only made him aware of the spiritual realm but also attracted unwanted attention from those spiritual beings around him, like ghosts.
They came to him for his help, but with his little body, all he could do was just transfer a little bit of his power to them, of course. He didn't like doing anything for free. He made them promise him that they would return his power after they used it to see their loved ones for one last time.
They usually leave their spiritual power behind after they go to the afterlife. He found that the spiritual power that they left behind was very pure, even though it was little. There's nothing that could be compared to them in terms of purity.
Seeing their loved ones for one last time was usually something that ghosts mostly wanted, but there were also ghosts that wanted to process him. but he had learned to protect himself.
He had developed a shield of soul energy that prevented them from getting too close or influencing him negatively. It took time and practice, but he had become quite skilled at warding off unwanted spirits.
And when he was three years old, he stumbled upon an old book that his dad kept locked away inside his office.
Curiosity getting the better of him, he managed to open the book and discover that it contained something called the demon art, or Kido.
There were three main types of Kido: binding spells (Bakudo), destruction spells (Hado), and healing spells (Kaido).
There was also a Forbidden Kido that was mentioned in the book, but that's all. If he needed to learn more about it, he needed to pass the test and become a member of the kido corps.
The book that his dad had locked up only had the spell of Kido Practitioner level. And if he wanted to reach the next level, which was Kido Expert, he needed to be at least seat level in order to get a permit to access the library in a place called Shino Academy inside Seireitei, which was located inside the underworld.
"Underworld, I really want to know how to get there. I knew that it wasn't a place on earth."
Ichigo tried to find information about it, but he found none despite his extensive research. Frustrated, he decided to ask his father directly.
"*Cough* W-Where did you get that information from?"
His father looked at him with seriousness. Now he knew that this kind of information wasn't something he should know or something that normal people should know.
And he expected that it might be like that, so he prepared for the question and told him that he had found a book. It was a fairy tale book that could be bought at the convenience store.
"Can you show me that book?"
Ichigo nodded before handing him the book, and when he saw it, he smiled at his son with relief.
"Underworld is the world that is under us!"
Yeah, dad jokes. He knew that he would never get a real answer from him.
The underworld might be a place that is very dangerous for him or any living being.
And as he was humoring his dad who spit out such a lame dad joke. His mother came from the outside. She looked worried and immediately asked.
"Is everything okay?"
"Misaki-chan! Why are you always like that? I am not that bad."
His dad, Kurosaki Isshin, protested with a playful grin on his face. Misaki sighed and rolled her eyes, knowing that her husband's antics were just his way of lightening the mood.
She smiled, ignored Isshin, and went straight to her beloved child.
"Are you hungry, Ichi-chan? Mommy is going to make your favorite food today."
Misaki's words instantly brought a smile to Ichigo's face, and he nodded eagerly in response. He had been feeling a bit down lately due to the lack of information, and his mother's comforting presence always managed to brighten his day.
Isshin cried bloody tears. His beloved wife was a son-con! She always spoiled the little brat.
As Ichigo's father, Isshin couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at the special bond between mother and son. However, deep down, he knew that Misaki's love and care were essential for Ichigo's well-being.
He had observed his son all the time and knew that something was wrong with him. He is a genius that he is so proud of, but he lacked in the emotional aspect. He only showed his emotions to his mother and no one else.
Even with his friends. He just saw them as tools to make them not worry about him. If he could choose, he would choose to stay inside his room and play with his toy.
Ichigo's father understood that his son's introverted nature and lack of emotional expression were a cause for concern. He longed for Ichigo to develop genuine connections with others and experience the joys of social interaction rather than isolating himself in his room.
Isshin's concern grew as he observed Ichigo's increasing withdrawal from social activities and his reluctance to engage with others. But one day, something changed him completely.
That was when the twins were born. His two cute little sisters
As a big brother, he needed to be a role model for his little sisters. He realized that he couldn't continue isolating himself and needed to set a good example for them.
This newfound responsibility motivated him to step out of his comfort zone and actively seek opportunities for social interaction.
He became better but still kept other people at arm's length. And only his family mattered to him.
