A lofty ambition for a small twisted-
A large room covered in smooth cream ceramics with wide windows that let the bright daylight flow in covered by brilliant deep red curtains.
Mahogany tables lined up in a rectangle. There were 9 of them. Beautifully giving this room an artistic look. A sophisticated vibe, Eric wasn't used to, opposed to the modern environment he grew up in.
Eric didn't have much information. He only knew that the 4 sons of the Demon Lord and four others would become Eric's students.
Eric inspected the room before he sat down on the table in the front.
It was laid out just like a seminar room. Did the Demon World have schools? Was it similar to the human world? Eric realised he should've asked more instead of entertaining Del's clingy and touchy nature.
But now it was too late. Eric sensed the doom approaching him with each tick of the large wooden clock in the back of the room.
Tick. Tick.
It instilled devastatingly hot lava running through the cracks of Eric's skin which were formed by the dry air threatening to suffocate him.
Time was drawing closer and Del's words ran in Eric's head. The only ones who knew Eric was human were Del, Eric's students and the assistant of Del, apart from that no one should know he was human or else...
Eric would literally end up as the poor mangled victim in those creepy horror stories he hated!
Screw that. Screw this. Screw it all. Screw this fucked up plot! In the first place, it should be forbidden to even curse humans but of course, these were fucking demons he was talking about! Demon! Those fucking creatures that should be banned exclusively in vile humans imaginations and crappy stories!
Demons shouldn't rip their way out of fiction and actually manifest in fucking reality! Hey, hey, get a damn grip on the law of the universe! It clearly states that supernatural beings should not under.any.fucked.up.circumstances.exist!
So how the hell could this universe, the oh-so-superior law of this whole goddamn universe be defied by demons? Demons! There. There you have it! Eric huffed in his mind. The evil force of the Demon World already made him slander the almighty omniscient being God was.
Dammit! Del said he told his students to not tell anyone Eric was a human but how could he trust those troublemakers, if one of them fucking cursed Eric, condemning him to forever damnation in the Demon World just because that lil pussy couldn't take a tiny, lil, weeny bit of well-meant criticism.
Gosh, those entitled brats. Although at this point anyone who could read Eric's thoughts wondered if he also meant himself.
Eric took a deep breath. He was going to see that fucking shithead who was his mortal enemy, his misfortune bringer!
The worst of all, Eric couldn't even sabotage that dipshit. Why?
Because he had to make him a successful author or else. Or els-
Eric was going to die of rage- he'd be stuck in this literal hellhole forever!
Sabotaging that nutcracker jerk was sabotaging the dazzling himself! How was that fair? Simple. It was not! Absolutely not! Eric's angry gaze glided towards the clock again. Two minutes until the lesson started Eric's face instantly contorted. These bastards. Wasn't it usual practise for students to come earlier and the teacher later?
Did these arrogant demons view themselves higher over this low mortal?
Nevertheless, Eric was going to stay his usual scum self. Angel on the outside, cussing, 1000-way-torture-thinking mind devil on the inside.
Yes. Eric will become the saint he has always pretended to be. Curry favours with everyone and then has them worship him. But there was a big problem. Eric never acted like this towards authors!
He didn't want to lower himself towards these abominations but he had to bea-
DING DONG
The clock finally struck the death sentence and Eric, the death row inmate, had to jump to his end. On time, the 8, much anticipated and hated students, no, evil demons!, entered the room.
They stared at Eric sitting at the table, smiling at them with his angelic face, indifferently before orderly seating themselves.
Eric was slightly impressed. They seemed at least know some manners. But there was something else that Eric felt, that he didn't notice when he was with Del, and that was the overbearing and cold nature of these 8.
All signs, all pores in Eric's body opened up to sing a loud choir of them truly being demons then the leaked tears in fear of the inhuman beings. Eric sweated. He sweated gallons of prickly, disgusting sweat but his perfectly, beautiful face showed none of the atrocities his body went through.
For the first time since being in the Demon World. Eric finally felt hat he was truly with beings that weren't humans. These demons leaked out an aura, a presence that even a simpleton like Eric could notice. So, they were really demons.
Eric was like a little lamb between these wolves! Damn that useless Mary selling him just like that!
As more and more seconds passed until the 8 of them sat down, Eric's smile turned more and more rigid. Their intimidating and domineering aura was wildly swirling around, forcing Eric to become a meek insect in front of these otherworldly beings.
Eric started to shake. He now fully realised the danger of teaching these demons he just slandered a second ago. Good thing they couldn't read Eric's mind. Eric felt incredibly cornered.
He didn't know demons were such mighty beings. They carried themselves like royalty. Well four of them literally were princes!
Proud, arrogant and uncompromisable. Eric gulped but the face he put up since birth didn't fail him. Who was more arrogant than Eric? More spoilt? More proud? More rotten than him? No! not even these demons could watch this full-fledged, two-faced scum editor Eric was!
"Good, you are all here now!"
Eric smiled sweetly, hoping to melt hearts as he has always done but then heard a sneer coming from his right. Eric didn't even need to guess to know it was the son who cursed him. Damn, Eric forgot that that nemesis knew of Eric's twisted real personality.
Yet Eric had to persevere. For since his life came into being, Eric was never found out by the public. His image was unblemished, polished and impeccable.
Everyone loved him and admired him.
Yes, that was how Eric would turn the whole Demon World down. He already conquered the Demon World so now it was the Demon World's turn. Hehehehehe.
