Ben 10 in (DC) It's hero Time

A portal erupted in Ben 10K's Headquarters, and without hesitation, Ben 10K and Ben X stepped through.

Ben X firmly stated, "It was great while it lasted," as he decisively removed the Omnitrix from his wrist and handed it over to Ben 10K. 

Ben 10K took the Omnitrix and said yeah, well, get used to it. 

Ben x: "Wait, what. But didn't I give you back the Omnitrix?".

Ben 10K: " And I will give it back to you".

Ben: "What.. But why?".

Ben 10K: " Will because according to you without it you only have a Heart of a hero Which can't even stop a bullet".

That sounds familiar isn't that what I said to The other Ben, thought Ben.

Ben: "Where did you hear that?".

Ben 10K: " Well, You're the one that said it to me, remember?r".

"But I said it to the other Ben". Ben looked confused.

Ben 10K: "Yeah, and that other Ben is me from the past".

" But you..I.. how …ugh". Ben scratching his head furiously, looked surprised, shocked, confused, and bewildered.

Ben 10K, looking at Ben, laughed, "Ha ha ha ha".

"Don't laugh;.. damn this cross-time travel really does give a headache". Said Ben in a frustrated voice.

"Wait," Ben suddenly thought about something. "Did you know exactly what was going to happen before we even fought Vilgax?" asked Ben.

"For the most part yeah". Answered Ben 10K.

Ben, looking confused, asked, " Then why didn't you just attack Vilgax from the start or tell us about everything?".

" Well, it's not that simple; Eon was involved and some other stuff, so I couldn't act too early." Answered Ben 10K.

"But you could have stopped the bomb by becoming clockwork like how the other Ben did it, right" Ben said.

"Well, I could, but, Just because I could doesn't mean I should", said Ben 10k.

"What is that supposed to mean?" asked Ben.

"Well, let me tell you something someone once said to me: sometimes, The correct action is to Take no action at all." You understand now," said Ben 10k.

 "Ugh, The headaches…the headaches are back". Ben, looking exhausted, said.

"Hahaha ha' Don't worry, you'll get it someday." Ben 10K said in an understanding tone.

Ben sighed as he didn't want to think about this that gives headaches, so he changed the subject and asked, "Why did you take the Omnitrix if you're going to give it back to me anyways?".

"Because right now it's too powerful and complicated for you to use. Plus, from what you told me, you're universe is pretty unique, so I am going to give some new fetchers to the Omnitrix to better help you".

Answered Ben 10K.

Ben: "What do you mean too powerful and complected? Didn't I use it quite well?".

Ben 10K: "Right now, it has Way too many aliens for you to choose from. You don't want to end up in a situation where you don't know what to choose or who to pick because you don't know anything about them. Plus having less but knowing how to use them is better than having many but not knowing what to do or who to choose".

Ben: "Okay, I get it. I get it. Sheesh, you sounded like Grandpa Max for a while."

Ben 10K: "Well he, he did thatch me a lot when I was younger".

Ben: "Uha, well yeah… so how many will I have 20,30".

Ben 10K: " 10 you'll have 10".

Ben: "Only 10. Aww, man, that's so few".

Ben 10K: "No, it's not. I know because when I started, I only had 10, too but don't worry, you'll unlock more eventually".

Ben: "But how am I going to be a hero with only the powers of 10 aliens?".

Ben 10K: " Ben being a hero doesn't have anything to do with having more power. Being a hero is about taking responsibility for the powerless. The more power you have, the more responsibility you must take on. Otherwise, you'll become just like the other bad versions of us that you saw crazy for power doesn't care about anything else".

Ben: "But I won't become like them. I want to be a hero".

Ben 10K: " Believe me, Ben, power can Mass up with your mind in ways you can never imagine. I know about it very well".

Looking at Ben 10KS's serious expression, Ben felt the seriousness of the matter and spoke, Okay, I understand. I am sorry; I should have known better".

Looking at Ben's dejected face, Ben 10k dropped his serious expression and softly smiled and spoke. " don't be dejected, kiddo. You'll get what I'm saying as you grow up ".

" Ugh… now you sound like my dad". Said Ben.

Ben Then asked, "Can I choose which aliens I get?".

Ben 10K: " Yes".

Ben: " yey" .

Ben 10K: "But you can only choose 5 of them".

Ben: "Aww Man".

Suddenly the door opened as Kenny walked in and said, " Hey Dad, your back, and he?".

Ben 10K said: "Great.. Kenny, you're here. Take Ben and show him around, Ben. You go with Kenny and think about the 5 aliens you want to choose and see the future while I work on the Omnitrix for you".

As Ben and Kenny saw Ben 10k leaving the room.

Ben said acwordly to Kenny " so what do we do now".

Kenny, equally awkwardly, replayed, "Well, I was about to meet up with Devlin and hang out with my friends at the Mr smoothies. "

"Ok then.. mind if I join". Asked Ben.

"No". Answered Kenny.

As both left for the room.
