chapter 5
5 – An Unfortunate Choice
Ecclis was perplexed.
He’s as tall as a mountain, but his job is a priest. He would have only the strength of his massive weight to fight.
Ecclis wasn’t embarrassed by Gran’s large body, but by the confidence that radiated like an aura.
‘On the subject of the priest….’
Didn’t I clearly show you what kind of place this place was a while ago?
This sports facility has long been a hideout for the seniors of the Black Mist Crew. And now, it is a place where you and your friends, not your seniors, use it as a hideout.
Every year, when a new semester begins, there are often freshmen who come in unknowingly, but when they see themselves and their friends, they run away.
But the priest standing in front of Ecclis was different.
I wouldn’t know if it was a wizard, warrior, or knight.
The heavy spirit that came out proudly even though he was wearing a priest’s uniform shrank Ecclis’ will to fight.
“What do you mean? Ecclis! Should I look after that freshman?”
Owen, who was mingling with the group of friends behind Ecclis, shouted.
‘Damn it, Ji will deal with it. Are you saying that I’m going to lose to a freshman right now?’
“Finally, it seems that my friends also want to fight me. Now, you can run first.”
“Wait a minute!”
“Hmm…. Any problem?”
“Are you a priest? You don’t want to fight a priest with no fighting skills, do you? If I hit you, I could excommunicate me from the church.”
Ecclis, whose will to fight had shrunk, made excuses every day.
“The Church of Anas doesn’t care about these trivial fights. So that’s fine. You can kill me. If you can kill it. hahahaha.”
“Ecclis! What are you doing? Are you going to let that cheeky bastard keep talking?”
‘f*ck…. It’s f*cking noisy.’
Ecclis was annoyed.
My friends were watching from behind and talking about the topic, and the big priest who suddenly came in was trying to fight recklessly.
He completely forgot the idea that he had started the fight first.
Ecclis’ occupation is a knight.
He didn’t have good grades, but he is confident in his skills.
Ecclis thought the reason he wasn’t getting grades was that he just wasn’t interested in the exam.
‘You got it wrong today.’
Ecclis emitted a red aura. He focused the sensation on his fist. He thrust a hardened fist into the priest’s abdomen.
‘It’s best to go somewhere out of sight.’
f*ck!
“Heuk!”
‘What, what was it?’
Ecclis’ complexion darkened. Because he felt excruciating pain in his wrist.
His fists were quick and precise.
The priest didn’t even pretend to block it.
The fist flew straight toward the priest’s side. Didn’t even get out of the way.
But the moment I hit it, I felt it was wrong.
I couldn’t figure out exactly what was wrong.
‘Damn it, did it get hit by the bone?’
“Hmm…. After all, students are still students. Then it is my turn this time.”
‘What?’
Gran slowly approached me. His pace was so leisurely that he felt no intention of attacking.
Puuu!
However, his fists were so fast that even his aura-enhanced body couldn’t react.
Gran’s fist was firmly planted in Ecclis’ right side.
“River shot.”
“Quuk.”
Ecclis couldn’t even let out a proper scream and collapsed.
“You are softer than I thought. So, who’s next?”
No one answered Gran’s question.
They were confused. Ecclis was a knight, and the freshman was a priest.
Does it make sense that the knight is perfectly fine with the fist thrown by the knight, and the knight collapses helplessly with the fist of the priest?
Ecclis’s friends just looked at each other in an absurd situation.
“Hmm…. The person who fought with me a moment ago must have been a manly student. Now that you have finished your business, I would like you to leave this facility.”
No one moved.
I didn’t want to fight that big priest, but I wanted to protect my pride as a senior.
Thump!
The priest was right in front of him.
“Did you not hear? Or are you pretending not to hear?”
As the priest’s huge shadow cast, the whole gym suddenly seemed to go dark.
The priest put his hand on the shoulder of Aaron, who was at the front.
“Heh heh, I don’t like to say it twice….”
“Keuk….”
Aaron’s body trembled. Maybe she shuddered for about two seconds. His body limp.
“No, it’s late. Let’s go!”
Owen, who had been urging Ecclis to fight quickly, spoke hastily.
“Are you leaving your friends behind? They are people who cannot find even the slightest bit of loyalty.”
‘f*ck, let’s see. Do you think our Black Mist crew can handle it?’
Owen cursed inwardly and put Ecclis on his back.
Ten years ago, the Black Mist crew’s occupation of sports facilities, which had been going on since their seniors, came to an end due to a priest.
***
As many as 30 bullies were sent out of the gym. The exercise facility, which had already felt cold, felt even more chilly.
“This is the worst gym I have been to.”
The only exercise equipment I could use was an iron bar. The long rod that looked like a spear was too light, and the exercise equipment that looked like a shield was not particularly useful. The rest of the exercise equipment didn’t look particularly useful.
I thought I could roughly figure out why this gym was abandoned. Academy was overflowing with better training facilities than here, such as magic training facilities and swordsmanship training facilities. It is also a little out of the way.
Then…. Now I can turn this into my own gym.
***
Afterwards, I exercised barefoot and prayed to God while waiting for admission. Three days have passed, and the school year is approaching.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been to school, so I feel new.
I put on the priest’s uniform given to me by Viteo.
When I came out, I felt the strange tension of the first day of school. The students hurriedly moved even though there was still time left.
I found the classroom leisurely.
It was difficult to find a classroom because of the complex structure of the building.
Soon I found the classroom I needed to enter.
It was so solemn that it felt desolate, probably because of the awkwardness on the first day of school or because it was a prestigious academy.
As I opened the door and entered, all the students sitting there looked at me. Everyone’s eyes widened as if they were surprised by my beautiful body.
They’re young guys, so they’re all diligent.
Only one seat was empty, but it seemed to be my seat.
Looks a bit cramped.
I bowed my head to the woman who seemed to be a teacher and headed to an empty seat.
“Student. Were you late from day one?”
The teacher said.
Looking at how he sets the mood as a teacher from the first day, he is a young new teacher. Her face looks young.
“How many minutes is it? Aren’t you supposed to be there by noon?”
It’s been a minute now, but it was on time when I came in.
“I arrived on time, but if there is any problem… ?”
“What’s wrong?”
That woman is trying to scold me and show her own authority to her children in her seat. It was discipline that a new teacher should do. A nonsensical way to show off.
It hurts to say more, and since I’m a new teacher, I decided to deal with it in moderation.
“Oh, yes. I guess I’m a bit late. I won’t be late next time.”
“You should also change your attitude. It seems to be a priest, but I need to talk to Viteo, the highest priest in the academy.”
She looked over my dress and said.
“Yes, I understand.”
“Hey, everyone seems to be unfamiliar with freshmen, aren’t they here to play? It’s not good to touch the planting of teachers as well as me. It’s only hard for me.”
She introduced herself after her brief sermon.
The name of the woman who will be your homeroom teacher is Florina Milia.
Her job was a knight and, as I expected, a young teacher.
Maybe because it’s an article…. You were full of passion.
She explained today’s schedule and class method.
The academy’s teaching method was like a combination of high school and university.
In the morning, I had to take basic classes with the same classmates, and in the afternoon, I had to take classes for each job.
The timetable has been set for freshmen. Naturally, I had to take a priestly class.
From the 2nd year onwards, as long as you have completed the required courses for each job, you can take any class you want to learn, whether it is a warrior class or a knight class.
After Florina’s explanation, we moved to the auditorium for her entrance ceremony.
Students new to Visilia Academy entered the auditorium in a row.
About 3,000 new students all came in.
The president’s boring speech began.
For internal growth, I have to listen carefully to the words of high-ranking people, but my concentration wasn’t good enough to listen to boring speeches.
My gaze turned to Florina. She turned to Viteo to see if she was really going to tell her what had happened that morning.
You made an unfortunate choice in the end.
Her eyes met mine. She chuckled and then she started talking to Biteo.
While talking, Viteo looked at me several times with an uneasy face.
I’m fine. Don’t blame me too much.’ Of course, I don’t know if Viteo will understand.
Florina’s shy face turned red.
That woman…. Academy life will be difficult in the future.
After her entrance ceremony, Florina called me aside.
