Became the Academy’s Munchkin Power Priest

2 – Men don’t run away

Vicilia’s office.

The amber bookshelf was lined with countless magic books, and the desk was full of paperwork.

The president, Kellysia Willord, sighed as she held up the paper with the list of admissions written on it.

She was a woman who valued her studies more than anyone else. She thought that there was no end to learning and that human life was short, so she did not waste a single day of the year.

What she accomplished was truly amazing.

She became the youngest member of the Mage Tower and the youngest president. She was also the youngest among wizards and a genius among geniuses to be able to use 7th tier magic.

As the president of the academy, Kelly Sia has changed many things about her studies. She was more sincere in teaching than anyone else, and she rewrote the curriculum of every class herself.

She was proud of the academy called Visilia more than anyone else. But she also had her own set of difficulties.

‘Teach this student to us? Does that make sense?’

Vice-Chancellor Whiten Sisyphus, who had been paying attention to her, cautiously opened her mouth.

“Is it because of the princess? Be at ease. Isn’t it the first time? Didn’t the prince graduate safely the year before last?”

The paper Kelly was holding had the name of another student written on it, not the name of the princess.

The student’s name is Gran.

I was a student who did not take the entrance exam. Callisia admitted she was admitted because it was the Pope’s request.

She thought she would simply send a capable priest. The child the pope wants to raise.

She wondered who the child might be. Because she trusted the Pope’s eyes.

But….

‘Isn’t he a student?’

She read the briefly summarized specifications of Gran along with the pope’s best wishes.

Gran wasn’t just a priest, he was a high priest.

If you change the title of a priest to that of a noble, the high priest will go from being a duke to being a marquis.

He even came from the Heretic Questioner, a special mission unit for priests and paladins.

He can use divine spells up to the 7th tier. He was on a par with the chancellor.

Kelly Sia passed her paper she was looking at to her vice-chancellor, Whiten.

Whiten read carefully, stroking his long beard. When he finished reading the paper, several strands of his beard had been plucked.

“At this level, it is safe to say that I am a newly appointed teacher.”

Kellysia’s eyebrows narrowed at Whiten’s words.

Gran’s specifications were strange even for a newly appointed teacher.

‘What are you talking about? If this is enough, I’ll be able to take the position of you instead of being a teacher.’

She even felt her jealousy toward a student named Gran. Along with curiosity.

The reason why Kellysia was the youngest to use 7th tier magic and was able to sit in the position of president was because of her extraordinary passion, but the most important thing was the environment.

As a student at Visilia Academy, she was able to devote herself to her studies and research. After she graduated, she lived confined to the Mage Tower, and her best teachers helped her grow.

However, Gran couldn’t see that she grew up in a good environment like herself. Still, he achieved more at a younger age than he did.

‘What kind of life has this adult child lived?’

“Viteo, where is Viteo now?”

Whichon said as her mind was drifting away.

Viteo was the academy’s teacher and the highest-ranking priest in the academy.

His rank is first class priest.

“Of course, I also informed Mr. Viteo. He barely stopped making a fuss about going to pick him up himself.”

Kelly Sia grabbed her hair as she thumped.

The academy provides the best environment for students. Students in the upper ranks burn with passion for a sense of achievement, while students in the middle and lower ranks burn with passion and jealousy of those who are ahead of them.

The reason why we can burn passion despite the difference in ability is because the difference in ability between students is small.

Vicilia Academy’s entrance exam has a reputation for being difficult, and those who passed the entrance exam are all talented children.

Students with a small difference in ability can unconsciously influence each other and maintain the academy’s ecosystem.

Of course, there were still some geniuses who could not be compared to ordinary students. Even the president himself was at the top of the top ranks.

But Gran boasted extraordinary specs among those geniuses.

If you look at his specifications, he is an ecosystem disruptor.

The president had two concerns.

First of all, I was worried about the children of priests who would despair after seeing his overwhelming talent.

The other was that I was worried about how to raise a child named Gran.

“It’s fortunate that I’m a priest with no fighting skills….”

Whiten opened his mouth cautiously.

This time, Kellysia agreed.

If he was a warrior or wizard, there would have been some students who gave up after being intimidated by his overwhelming fighting ability.

“I’ll have to see what kind of kid he is.”

I got on the carriage heading to Escardo. Across from her sat a girlish man in a hood.

As if he didn’t take care of his body on a regular basis, his skin without muscles looked soft and he had white skin like a vampire who hated sunlight.

Even so, as if I wanted to protect my body, I wore a sword with a fancy handle around my waist.

We left ourselves in the carriage without a word of dry conversation.

The wagon rattled along the pavement, which snaked like a snake.

There were not only one or two inconveniences throughout the trip. It was because of the man sitting across from me.

The road to the capital was long and it took three full nights to drive. I had to go to the bathroom in between, and I had to eat, but whenever that happened, the immaculate man moved to a place where me and the coachman couldn’t see. It was inevitable that it would be too late.

“This forest road is dangerous. We need to get out of here as quickly as possible.”

The coachman said.

“What are men so ashamed of? I won’t see you, so don’t go far and settle it in front of me.”

The immaculate man didn’t even pretend to hear me.

I wanted to hit the pit of the stomach hard, but I decided not to because I was wearing a priestly uniform.

It was less than three minutes after the immaculate man entered the forest.

It was a woman’s scream.

My eyes met the coachman’s.

“Rain, wasn’t that a scream? We will set off on our own.”

“Heh heh, the word ‘run away’ came out of the man’s mouth so easily, so it can be done?”

I stood up with my cane.

“Uh, what are you trying to do? They must be thieves!”

“If you are a thief…. It won’t be too different from the devil.”

“If the priest insists on going, I will run away too.”

It would be delayed if the coachman left, but there was plenty of time before admission.

Since I haven’t been able to warm up my body properly for several days, I have a chance to warm up just in time.

Also, running away after hearing a woman’s screams did not match the beauty of a man I was pursuing.

“You may run away. But as a man, you should know that it is embarrassing.”

I threw my luggage outside. After thinking about what to do with the immaculate man’s luggage, I decided to throw it outside.

“Priest! Priest! You must not go!”

I hid my luggage among the bushes and walked slowly towards the scream.

The forest was full of trees. Even though sunlight came through the leaves like a puzzle, it was dark because the trees were densely packed.

It smelled familiar.

There was a fishy smell of iron between the smell of wood and soil.

The smell of blood.

I followed the smell of blood. And there, a man in a familiar outfit…. No, I saw a woman.

Somehow, like a young lady from a noble family, her skin was soft and her wrists were thin.

For some reason, she was hiding her gender.

She held a sword decorated with silver trim and aimed it at the bandits. However, her condition was not good. An arrow was stuck near her shoulder.

“What, what are you?”

The boss-looking guy said.

“Don’t you know when you see it? I am a priest.”

“A priest? Do priests also exercise these days?”

“Is there anything I can’t do?”

“That’s right. It won’t be useful, though.”

The boss burst out laughing.

At that moment, the woman who was shaking her body slightly collapsed.

“Wow, the boys are afraid of swords and shoot arrows. You are not manly.”

“Brother, do you take care of that bastard as well? I think the staff that big guy is holding is going to cost a bit too.”

The thief with the hood on his head also had his eye on my staff.

“Oh, you mean this? You may take it.”

I threw my staff at the thief.

Booooong.

When I threw the staff, the rogue, bewildered, struggled with his arms to catch it.

Kaaang!

The thief did not receive the staff I threw him. No, he successfully grabbed the cane, but fell backwards at the same time.

“If you can take it. hahahaha.”

The staff I was holding weighed about 100 kg.

Even in this world, it’s so heavy that most men can’t even stand up.

The thief couldn’t overcome the weight of the staff that fell from the sky and fell down. Red blood flowed from his forehead as if the staff had hit his head.

“What is this asshole doing? Just one stick….”

The leader thief tried to pick up the fallen staff, but he couldn’t lift it.

“What, what the f*ck. Is it magic?”

“Now, what do you want to do? Would you like to fight one-on-one like a man?”

“What are you doing you bastards! Catch that bastard first!”

“Heh heh…. You have chosen the cowardly path.”

As soon as the boss gave the order, a man who was watching from behind rushed at me.

He swung a dagger at me.

Chack!

The thief’s dagger lodged in my forearm. I tightened my forearm muscles to keep the dagger from falling out.

The man stared blankly at me, embarrassed by the tightness of my forearms.

“What kind of monster is this….”

“How are you? My forearms.”

Fur Ock!

As he hit his jaw with his fist, yellow teeth poured out of his mouth like popcorn.

Quaak!

At that moment, an arrow cut through the wind and pierced my shoulder blade.

“My shoulder just felt itchy. Thank you. What a difference!”

I jumped high and landed in front of a thief who shot a bow.

“Hey!”

The thief threw down his bow and ran away.

I picked up a pebble the size of a big toenail from the floor. I tossed the stone at the hamstring of the fleeing thief, and it pierced his skin.

“Penetrating shot.”

After confirming that the runaway thief was down, I turned to the side where his boss was.

“Okay, now it’s one-on-one. It will be a very manly fight.”

The boss’s eyes were moist.
