Beastman Forcefully Raising a Wife

Chapter 87

Unedited

The morning fog hadn’t dispersed and the sun was spilling out some warmth when Shu Jintian, who couldn’t sleep well from excitement, got up.

After eating some casual breakfast, Shu Jintian took the rare initiative to feed Shu Ye and then dressed him in Guoguo’s small clothes. Then, he helped Guoguo put on his new clothes as well. The clothes that had been much bigger when they set off were now just slightly bigger when the two babies wore it, and it didn’t appear oversized at first glance either. The naturally beautiful little babies still looked especially beautiful even if they were wearing the most simple vine clothes.

After Shu Jintian dressed the children up, he realised that Shu Hanyu still hadn’t put on clothes and couldn’t help urging, “Why haven’t you worn it yet? Hurry up ah!”

Shu Hanyu was jealous. Glancing at the two neatly dressed children, he unhappily said, “You put it on!”

As he spoke, he spread his arms arrogantly.

Shu Jintian pressed a hand against his forehead, helplessly saying,

“Okay. Guoguo, hold your brother well and don’t let his clothes get dirty from crawling.”

“Okay, baba!” Guoguo obediently took Shu Ye from him, then sat right down on the ground and let his brother play on his lap.

Shu Jintian: “…”

Shu Jintian no longer said anything, picking up Shu Hanyu’s clothes and swiftly helping him put them on. In an angle Shu Jintian couldn’t see, Shu Hanyu’s lips curled.

After tidying up their luggage, they set off again. The visibility in the forest grew clearer, up until they saw the end of the forest, where Shu Hanyu turned into his human form.

“We’re almost there. I’ll hold the luggage.”

“Mn!” Shu Jintian was a little nervous.

Shu Hanyu took all of Shu Jintian’s luggage. Shu Jintian held Shu Ye in one arm and held Guoguo’s hand in the other. The family of four walked closer to the tribe.

Before walking any further, a long and continuous wolf howl rang out nearby. The sound carried an innate mournful tone of a wolf, but the dangerous aura was very obvious. Shu Jintian was startled and instinctively stopped walking.

These wolves obviously noticed them long ago and were laying low. Seeing them now invading their territory, they let out a warning.

“Don’t be scared Tiantian, I’m here.” Shu Hanyu bent over to rub his face against Shu Jintian’s forehead.

“Mn.” Shu Jintian still wanted to say something, but was interrupted by even more wolf howls.

Each howl was long and continuous, overlapping with each other. They threatened and menaced the invaders to leave quickly. Shu Jintian even had an illusion of being watched by countless eyes and couldn’t resist his body from going numb as he nervously looked around everywhere.

Possibly because they did not leave, wolves revealed themselves behind hills one after another, their appearances fierce; the fangs exposed in their wolf mouths could still be faintly seen even with the distance of dozens of meters.

Shu Jintian instinctively took a step back, and was embraced with one arm by Shu Hanyu.

“Don’t be scared Tiantian, I won’t let them hurt you.”

About a dozen male Sky Wolves in their prime strode towards them, their gazes cautious. The pack scattered into a semi-circle and surrounded them. Standing right at the center, however, was a man with a head of silver hair. Despite being a distance away, he still appeared to have an immortal’s temperament.

Shu Jintian was slightly taken aback and his gaze was unconsciously drawn over. It was only when Shu Hanyu forcefully took him in his arms that Shu Jintian realised that Shu Hanyu was feeling jealous.

“Hehe… It’s still you who’s more handsome, I just haven’t seen such a person and was curious.” Shu Jintian smiled at Shu Hanyu apprehensively.

Right now the enemy and us haven’t resolved things yet, but big snake’s feathers are already ruffled!

Only then did Shu Hanyu relax his body and look towards the oncomers.

It was when the wolf pack walked closer that Shu Jintian realised with a start that there were surprisingly wings on their backs that were now folded tight behind them. And it was unknown whether it was his misconception, but when those wolves looked at him, their gazes didn’t seem as fiendish and terrible.

The leading human looked slender and tall from afar, but upon walking closer, Shu Jintian realised his height was more than two meters and just about the same as big snake. His long silver hair was nonchalantly hung loose, his looks were handsome but without a single trace of expression, as if he had no emotions.

Shu Hanyu looked at them icily, an arm stubbornly wrapped around Shu Jintian and declaring his sovereignty.

Conversely, the silver-haired man did not get angry and was unbothered by Shu Hanyu’s icy arrogance, nodding at them politely. This truly made Shu Jintian incredibly shocked and he returned a polite smile.

The silver-haired man calmly sized up Shu Jintian and the two babies. He understood what was going on in his heart, but there wasn’t a single fluctuation in his expression.

【Hello, I’m the elder of the Sky Wolf tribe, Yin Cen. May I ask what is the matter with this sudden visit?】Yin Cen’s voice was clear and cold without the slightest emotion.

【Hello. 】Shu Hanyu also conversed with Yin Cen through beast language.

To Shu Jintian, their conversation was doubtlessly Martian language. Shu Jintian felt a little jealous upon seeing an unfamiliar side of Shu Hanyu, as if he was separated outside Shu Hanyu’s world.

No can do, he definitely had to learn the beast language in the future.

Shu Jintian gloomily shifted his gaze aside and stared at the wolf pack vigilantly when he suddenly felt a sharp pair of eyes on him, causing a shiver to run down his spine.

Shu Jintian was startled and turned his head.

It was a large wolf that was glossy black all over with a pure white patch of fur on its forehead that was staring closely at him. Or to be more precise, staring at the white quilt bundle encasing Shu Ye in his arms.

Shu Jintian tightened his embrace and blocked the black wolf’s sight with his arms. He shifted closer to Shu Hanyu’s side, who happily held him even tighter.

Shu Hanyu expressed his purpose for coming to the Sky Wolf tribe chief and also stated that he had a female baby. After confirming that there was a female, Yin Cen did not hesitate and straightforwardly agreed to them joining. However, they could only live at the fringe of their territory, and this just happened to agree to Shu Hanyu’s intent.

Reaching a common understanding, the wolf pack thus withdrew their threatening stances and sized up their new members.

The Sky Wolf tribe would soon have their annual mate-bonding ceremony, and Yin Cen even kindly invited the snake family to participate. However, Shu Hanyu’s facial expression already showed refusal.

The matter of entering the tribe was thus decided. The family bid farewell to the wolf pack and headed in another direction. The wolf pack snorted and flew off.

Shu Hanyu took Shu Jintian to look for their new dwelling. The terrain here was rather flat and several small hills spread out on the ground like waves. Among the hills was a brooklet that was so clear the bottom could be seen. The river channel was curved and zig-zagging and the water flowed down windingly like a ribbon in a gymnast’s hand, and was filled with vitality.

The family searched in the hill area for a very long time but were unable to find any natural caves, and Shu Hanyu himself wasn’t skilled in digging holes either. As such, they could only search near a forest, but unexpectedly, within the woods was a large tract of bamboo forest.

A breeze drifted through the bamboo forest and the bamboo leaves echoed with rustles. The air contained a refreshing fragrance of bamboo leaves. Shu Jintian intoxicatedly shut his eyes and took a deep breath of the fresh air.

With just a glance, Shu Jintian fell in love with this place and wanted to live here. Shu Hanyu naturally had no objections.

The reason why he called it a large bamboo forest was because each bamboo here was the width of a water bucket. Shu Jintian estimated that if he cut off a chunk of bamboo, he would be able to use it as a water bucket, making it much easier to use water in the future.

“But this place doesn’t have a cave. Can we dig one out? Uh…” Shu Jintian sensed something wrong before he even finished speaking.

Why would he think about digging a hole so naturally, and not build a house with bamboo? Have I become fully beastified by big snake? Thinking of this, Shu Jintian felt unwell all over.

“Okay!” Shu Hanyu replied unhesitantly, though he wasn’t skilled in digging a hole. However, he would still be able to dig a hole out after spending some more effort and time.

“That’s great. We have a new home now,” Shu Jintian said happily.

There was a large discrepancy with his imagination and there were no human constructions, these winged wolves didn’t seem to have any advanced technology and had no difference in nature with big snake, and were all wild animals that could turn into humans. But being able to rely on a powerful tribe was always a little safer.

Shu Hanyu looked at Shu Jintian warmly, gently patting Shu Jintian’s hair that was already a little long, a determined lustre flickering in his eyes. Even if there were other males nearby, Tiantian could only be his alone.

Shu Jintian chose a small hill near a water source. After hollowing out this hill, it could probably be a house like a yurt. Mn~ A grave-style yurt.

The family had gone on a long and arduous trek for over thirty days and were all a little beaten. After eating a full meal, they set up a bed on the ground to rest.

Shu Ye was unable to bear hunger the most; after waking up, he squeezed into Shu Jintian’s clothes and gulped down milk, swallowing nonstop with audible sounds and appearing terribly starving. Guoguo and Shu Hanyu both turned into their snake forms, each coiling into a roll beside Shu Jintian and sleeping with their eyes shut.

During the afternoon, the family were still resting when two visitors unexpectedly came. To be precise, it was one person and one wolf. There was a tuft of white hair on the black wolf’s forehead which was especially conspicuous.

The visitor wasn’t too tall and was about 190cm tall; his face was delicate and pretty, while his expression was gentle.

“Hello, my name is Lin Yi. This is my companion, Ren Xi. Is there anything we can help you with? Mm… Also, the comforter you wrapped your child up in seems to be mine.”

Shu Jintian: “…”

It turned out that Lin Yi was the transmigrator Shu Jintian had guessed. The comforter he picked up was also dropped by Lin Yi.

With the help of the black wolf Ren Xi, a large cave was dug into the hill Shu Jintian chose on the second day. Ren Xi even said that the soil quality here was dense, so the hill wouldn’t collapse even if a cave was dug, and them Sky Wolf beasts all lived in this sort of cave.

Because Shu Jintian and Lin Yi were people of the same world. They were undoubtedly teary-eyed like fellow villagers meeting here. Gradually, the two people became the best of friends.

Lin Yi knew how to make many delicacies, and even Guoguo and Shu Ye who did not like eating cooked food enjoyed the food he made. They often ran off to their home on schedule together. Lin Yi had three little wolf cubs at home who were also very welcoming to the fair and tender little female, Shu Ye. Their pompon-like bodies ran rather quickly and they frequently walked Guoguo and Shu Ye home.

Shu Hanyu naturally was glad to see it happen, as there finally were no children to disturb him and Tiantian.

Shu Jintian knew Lin Yi was a person from china and thus gave him some rice seeds, the two researching how to plant them during the beginning of spring. Lin Yi also taught Shu Jintian how to make staples like sweet potatoes and bean vermicelli, allowing Shu Jintian’s cookbook to become more plentiful.

One had to lament that this world truly was very wonderful. Two people who had no intersections at all unexpectedly formed an unbreakable tie due to identical transmigration.

The author has something to say:

Happy new years! This novel is perfectly completed. Thank you to all the readers who supported me, muah muah muah!

I’ll continue writing only after having my family reunion dinner, sorry for being late today again o(╯□╰)o

If there’s any extras you want to see, you can leave a comment, I might write it oh.

Now I’ve already decided to have (Idk what this is, probably a reference to future chapter) smut, Hong Zao Guoguo CP

A new pit is ‘低能丧尸养成计划’, I might start a new pit soon. I hope my fans will continue supporting and bookmarking me, so you’ll know my activities TAT

If Yan Ze isn’t dead… people will probably beat me up ba! T^T

I’ll start a pit for Yan Ze, a very meng one. If you can’t accept it, just think of it as a parallel universe ba; they’ll no longer appear in Tiantian’s world anymore. The copy will be posted after some time. What about titling it ‘Cannon Fodder Gong’s Spring’? Or ‘Blind Gong’?

T/N: There’s a bit more below that the author talks about, but it’s about comments which i think you guys won’t do, so I decided to omit it, sorry.

(The author has a small conversation about gifting red packets to readers but jokes about some that didn’t receive it said that they no longer loved her and how she was broke, but would borrow money from friends and give it to the readers who leave long comments.)

Baobao Notes

The end of the official story! Wow… There was a lot going on in the middle, ngl, but I’m glad it got completed. Anyways, thanks for reading so far. It was fun to translate such a novel, it feels kind of like a new experience, since most of my translations are very tame.

Actually there’s a small note (more like LONG personal analysis so you can ignore it) I want to add for some people since ive seen comments about it BUT well here, click read more to see.

While I picked this up on a suggestion and went in blind, I DID go in knowing that A) it was going to be a beastman, B) that person recommended it because it was very ‘realistic’, and C) noncon would be involved.

Like I said before in another baobao note, this author clearly favours the ‘show don’t tell method’. Hopefully I translated it good enough for you guys, but just to explicitly state it, the author always throws in hints that Jintian is aware that, despite him now being in love with Hanyu, their relationship is built on fear/trauma and he, even now, is at least subconsciously scared of what Hanyu would do when angry.

I hope it’s obvious enough but like seriously this clearly isn’t a healthy relationship and wouldn’t be encouraged IF it was in a civilised society. Like how Killing Stalking is more psychological horror than romance.

Also, I want to ask, do you guys want me to translate the extras? I absolutely do not mind either way; if no one really cares, I won’t translate the extras, but if anyone wants to read it, I might pick it up.

Edit: I saw some people suggesting I summarise the extras, but as I said before, I translate as I write, so perhaps that’ll be a third option. Translate, don’t, or summarise. Though, personally, I don’t recommend summarising since A) I don’t know how good my summarising skills are and B) I won’t know how to post it. I won’t be posting it as an official chapter, but if I do post a summary as a CG post not many will get the notification for it as it’s not a chapter.
