14. The Virtual World
Long Qian Xing showed a smile. “I haven’t done anything, so you don’t have to thank me so early.”
Nan Hua nodded in understanding, her expression looked like she was moved, but it never truly reached the depth of her eyes.
“Can you give me your contact information?”
“I don’t bring my bracelet, Second Young Master Long,” Nan Hua said hurriedly.
“Bracelet? You mean your light brain?” Long Qian Xing was amused by Nan Hua’s choice of words. “Do you bring your phone?”
“Yes.”
“Scan me.”
“Ok.”
The two of them exchanged their contact information and Nan Hua returned to Nan Xian Xie and Hui Nian.
On the other hand, Long Qian Xing kept his phone away and looked at Tian Lou, who was still waiting at the side.
“So, did you ask her?” Tian Lou asked curiously.
“Not yet. I’ll ask in the Virtual World after I see her performance.” Long Qian Xing glanced at Tian Lou calmly.
Tian Lou was speechless. “You only told her to meet you in the Virtual World when you called her?”
“Yes.”
“… Can’t you do something more productive?” Tian Lou felt that Long Qian Xing, who was usually very efficient in his work, suddenly slowed down. He felt rather amazed and strange that his friend would be like this.
“I exchanged contact information with her.”
Tian Lou: “…” You’re amazing.
…
Nan Hua returned and saw Nan Xian Xie and Hui Nian looking at her. She was sure that Long Qian Xing didn’t want outsiders to know what he told her, so she also wouldn’t tell this matter to outsiders.
“You’re back.” Nan Xian Xie looked at Nan Hua up and down. She really couldn’t understand why Long Qian Xing was interested in this country bumpkin brat. Even though Nan Hua was beautiful because of her family’s genes, she was not a very outstanding beauty in the eyes of so many other beautiful people.
“What did you talk about with Young Master Long?” Hui Nian asked curiously. Her eyes revealed a trace of jealousy that was suppressed.
Even though she had been taught by her parents to control her emotions in front of outsiders, it was hard for her to do this when the person she admired was attracted to a person she looked down upon.
“Young Master Long relayed a message from his grandfather,” Nan Hua replied unhurriedly.
Nan Xian Xie showed annoyance. She wanted to scold Nan Hua, but felt that such an action would destroy her image, so she held herself back. “When did you get to know Young Master Long?”
“I meet him in the hospital,” Nan Hua replied.
Hospital?
It was then Nan Xian Xie recalled that because her cousin failed her exams and got heavily injured, she was put into the hospital. Thinking that during this period of time, Long Qian Xing also went to the hospital and allowed the two of them to meet, she felt annoyed.
Why such chance was not given to hers instead?
Nan Hua lowered her head, ignoring the angry cousin in front of her. In any case, she didn’t care too much about these two young women.
…
Neither Nan Xian Xie nor Hui Nian were in the mood to go shopping again. After a symbolic walking around, they went back to their respective home.
Nan Hua returned to her home and was brought to her grandfather, who ordered the butler to bring her to him the moment she came back.
“Did you have fun, Nan Hua?” Old Master Nan asked after Nan Hua greeted.
Nan Hua blinked her eyes. “There are a lot of new clothes in the mall and I forgot to bring my bracelet, so my cousin helped me to pay for our clothes.”
Our.
Old Master Nan narrowed his eyes as he looked at Nan Hua in front of him. He showed a faint smile and nodded. “Got it. Go back to your room and enter the Virtual World.”
“Yes, Grandfather.”
Looking at Nan Hua’s departing back, Old Master Nan tapped the armchair. “Settle the payment in accordance to the clothes distributed.”
“Yes, Old Master.”
Old Master Nan looked thoughtfully at the door, thinking about his granddaughter. She looked quite shy and timid, but she was not completely stupid. It was just that this granddaughter of his seemed to be unwilling to show this.
In this regards, he would not puncture this matter either.
Let her do what she wanted.
He had owed her too much.
Nan Hua didn’t know what Old Master Nan was thinking, but she threw the matter of payment to Old Master Nan because she didn’t want to be entangled by Nan Xian Xie. She had never cared too much about the issue of money because she didn’t really understand business.
Besides, she didn’t have much need for money. There were more than enough in the account she opened to do missions.
But she will not allow herself be mistreated.
Entering her room, Nan Hua took a short bath and then went to the cabin at the side. This cabin was the highest module used to enter the Virtual World. Those without enough economy will only buy the helmet, but Nan Hua was clearly not lacking in money, so the equipment was the best cabin.
She entered, sat down, and closed the door.
“Enter Virtual World.”
