As a Villain I Really Don’t Want To Be Pursued by the Heroine

Chapter 26

26

The two returned to the street, and the golden-haired girl in her pure white dress, like a fallen angel, immediately attracted countless gazes.

“That child is so cute!”

“Which noble family is she from?”

“I’ll get all her information in three minutes!”

“Wait, that one next to her is… the evil young master of Iron Blood!”

“That’s fine.”

The evil young master had his advantages, and no matter how much he coveted Alice, those noble young masters also feared Roy’s existence, and none dared to provoke them, allowing the two to be uninterrupted.

Envy, my maid is just as lovely!

Ignoring the envious and resentful glances from those around them, Roy asked Alice, “What do you want to do next? Eat something or watch a play?”

Alice shook her head, “Whatever the master decides is fine.”

This…

Roy was a bit troubled.

He would rather satisfy Alice’s wishes than play himself.

However, Alice herself had a hard time making a decision.

With no choice, Roy could only take her to stroll around aimlessly.

Alice obediently followed Roy, but noticed that the men and women passing by were either hand in hand or embracing each other.

“Master… “

“Yes? Have you decided where to go?”

Looking at Roy’s face, Alice suddenly lost her courage.

The master was very kind, but as a maid, could she really enjoy herself endlessly?

Alice was always afraid that Roy’s kindness was limited, and she would one day exhaust his kindness.

“…Nothing.”

The golden-haired girl took a light step, as usual, elegant and obedient, maintaining the distance of a maid beside her master.

Just being able to stay by her master’s side was already satisfying enough for her.

Roy caught a glimpse of her, and naturally noticed that Alice was deliberately keeping her distance.

The two seemed to have an invisible, subtle barrier between them.

But Alice was clearly not disgusted.

Girls are just too hard to understand.

“Let’s sit in the café for a while then.”

The only café in Twilight City nestled in the bustling downtown. Its storefront was simple yet elegant, with a lush tree at the entrance and some wrought-iron tables and chairs, lending an air of antiquity and grace.

The café was a haven for minor nobles, merchants, and stylish adventurers.

‘Bad Boy Roy’ would never frequent such a leisurely, refined place, so it was Roy’s first visit to this café he always passed by in his memories.

It must be said, in an era where information wasn’t widespread, ‘Bad Boy Roy’ managed to make his infamy so well-known, which was quite a feat.

Despite the waiter’s face turning ashen once again upon recognizing Roy’s notorious visage, the sight of Alice immediately healed the tense waiter with her angelic beauty, restoring his composure.

Roy thought to himself that he should bring Alice along wherever he went in the future, to constantly offset the debuff of his negative reputation.

“What would you like to eat?” Roy asked while flipping through the menu.

“Sigh, whatever Master eats is fine, Alice isn’t hungry yet.”

This usual dialogue between master and servant, however, gave the waitress a bit of a shock.

Goodness, such an elegant young lady, and she calls Roy ‘Master’ as if she were a pet.

The city knows how to play; she’s untouchable.

Roy, oblivious to the wary glances from others, casually said, “Alice, coming to a café isn’t about filling one’s stomach, but to enjoy the desserts.”

“Desserts…” Even the usually serene Alice couldn’t help but light up at the word, eager with anticipation.

Without pictures on the menu, Alice was at a loss.

So, she looked around at the other customers’ tables.

As the blonde girl’s gaze swept over, many hopeful gentlemen flashed what they believed to be dashing smiles in response, but none caught the attention of the girl’s clear, azure eyes. Instead, their female companions met them with merciless rebukes.

Alice spoke softly, embarrassed by her clumsy wording, “I’ve decided, that, the yellow cake.”

“Pancakes, is it? Please bring us two servings of pancakes, one strawberry and one blueberry. And double… What would Alice like to drink?” Roy paused, asking Alice.

“The same as Master is fine.”

“Then two more coffees, please.”

Before long, freshly baked pancakes drenched in golden maple syrup and steaming hot, along with fragrant coffee, were served before them.

The afternoon sun filtered through the leaves, casting a delicate pattern of light, and the fresh air mixed with the aroma of coffee and sweets made this moment exceptionally leisurely and beautiful.

Alice carefully maneuvered her knife and fork, cutting a piece of pancake soaked in maple syrup and strawberry jam, and brought it to her mouth.

The girl’s usually aloof and ethereal expression softened at this moment, sweetened by the spring breeze. She also let out a cute, subtle hum, like a little dog wagging its tail in delight over delicious food.

Under the dappled sunlight, the girl couldn’t help but murmur, “So sweet.”

This scene, sweeter than the maple syrup, made Roy unconsciously echo, “…It is quite sweet.”

Alice blinked in confusion, “But Master, you haven’t eaten yet.”

Roy suddenly felt embarrassed, hastily picking up his knife and fork, “I’ve had it before.”

“Is that so?”

“Just like that!”

“Then, Master, try a taste of mine.”

“?!?”

Roy was startled by such abrupt and fierce words, dropping his knife and fork to the ground.

However, Alice looked at him innocently, still holding a piece of pancake on her fork.

Oh, she meant the pancake.

Damn it, Alice is such a pure little angel, how could I think of something so bizarre!

Roy cursed himself for his wicked thoughts.

“It’s okay, I’ll feed Master.”

“Mmm… Mmm?!”

Just as Roy suppressed his improper thoughts, he didn’t expect to be outmaneuvered by his own maid.

With those clear, mirror-like pale blue eyes staring straight at him, Roy felt inexplicably embarrassed.

“Wait, wait, I’ll just get another set of utensils.”

From noble mtl dot come

“There’s no need for that.”

“But…”

“As a maid, serving the Master is only natural.”

Alice’s unexpected persistence in feeding him, swiftly cutting the whole plate of pancakes into bite-sized pieces, was full of zeal.

All along, whether it was clothes or food, it was all thanks to the Master’s grace. Now that there was a rare chance to repay the Master, how could she, as a personal maid, let it slip by?

Now was the time to shine!

“Come, Master, please open your mouth.” Alice lifted the fork with the pancake, bringing it towards Roy’s face.

Now Roy was in a dilemma.

To be honest, if it were just the two of them, it would be fine.

But this was an open-air café. With all the customers around and passersby coming and going, to do such a thing under so many watchful eyes was just too embarrassing, wasn’t it?!

Faced with the little maid’s feeding, Roy was deeply conflicted.
