"Do you really know the way?" Caitlyn was almost overwhelmed by the stench of the junkyard; it was ten times worse than the sewers. "I have a rough idea... I don't remember there being this much trash before!" Vi squinted as she looked around, occasionally rubbing her eyes. The toxic fumes here were so thick they stung her eyes like smoke.

"Don't worry, I won't let you die in a pile of trash." Vi tore a piece of cloth from her clothes and handed it to Caitlyn to use as a mask. Caitlyn's clothes had all been used to bandage Vi's wounds, so she now only had half a shirt left, her stomach exposed.

After twisting and turning, the two finally managed to exit the junkyard. Caitlyn took a deep breath and then slumped against Vi. She realized only after a while that she was being a bit unseemly and stood up with a flushed face. Vi didn't seem to mind, her heart was filled with the joy of soon reuniting with her sister.

However, it seemed fate didn't want this sisterly reunion to happen just yet. As Vi stepped out of the parking lot, she ran into a familiar face with a scar on the cheek, a blond with a crew of thuggish-looking followers. "Vi?" The group didn't expect to see her here and instinctively felt a bit intimidated; many of them had been beaten up by Vi back when they were kids. But now they were in numbers! And… things were different!

"Let me see... how did you end up getting caught by an enforcer? What a pity, need any help?" the blond leader sneered mockingly. "No need." Vi stepped forward, placing Caitlyn protectively behind her. "Don't be so cold, Vi." The thugs scattered, slowly encircling the two, "It's been so long; I wanted to catch up properly!"

"It's been so long, how did you end up looking for scraps in a junkyard?" Even though backed into a corner, Vi dared to taunt them. "I'm Alchemy Baron Barret now! I'm in charge of all the junkyards in the undercity!" The blond yelled as if his tail had been stepped on. Self-proclaimed as the Alchemy Baron, he was desperate for recognition to satisfy his insignificant ego—especially recognition from former enemies, or rather, their fear. But Vi wasn't afraid of him in the slightest, and laughed, "After being Silco's lapdog for so many years, he put you in charge of waste management? Hahaha!"

"Bastard! Vi! You must die here today!" Barret advanced quickly. Caitlyn hurriedly pulled out her badge. "Wait! I'm an enforcer from Piltover..." "Enforcer my ass!" Barret slapped Caitlyn's badge away, yelling, "This is my turf! Enforcer? Who cares! You soft-skinned little lady, I'll have my way with you soon..." "Smack!" Before Barret could finish his sentence, Vi slapped him hard across the face. She put all her strength into it, swelling half of his face and knocking out a tooth. "Watch your mouth!"

"Ah... Ah! Get them!" The thugs charged, armed with either knives or steel pipes. Although Vi and Caitlyn were unarmed, they partnered seamlessly. After so much time spent navigating the sewers together, the handcuffs were no longer a hindrance but rather a symbol of their bond. It didn't take long for the fight to end. After being imprisoned for five years, Vi had become a different person. These thugs, despite their fancy appearance, were still a pile of rubbish. "Give it up, Barret. You were defeated by me five years ago, and you still are today." Vi taunted, stomping on the blond's face. "Serving Silco hasn't made you stronger, only weaker."

"Is that so?" Barret's anger turned to laughter. He pulled out a syringe filled with a sinister-looking pink liquid from his pocket. "Try this!" Barret jammed the needle into his neck as if he were committing suicide. As the liquid slowly entered his bloodstream, he gasped for air like he couldn't breathe. His veins bulged, and his eyes were bloodshot, with a bizarre pink glow flickering in his pupils. "What... what is happening?" Caitlyn was shocked by the scene before her. Barret's muscles expanded wildly, transforming him from a scrawny stick into a hulking monster.

"Shimmer..." A flash of disdain and caution passed through Vi's eyes as she grabbed Caitlyn's hand. "Run!" The two dashed back into the junkyard. Although disgusting, the heaps of garbage could somewhat obstruct the creature's view and movement. Enhanced by shimmer, Barret ran faster than a cheetah. Even as Caitlyn sprinted with all her might, she could feel his bloody, hot breath on her neck!
