The wind ruffled their watery-colored hair. Looking up at the airship and exuding a fierce spirit, it was undoubtedly Su and Shu.

I immediately rushed out of the cabin and shouted.

On the head of the massive vessel, standing atop the golden dragon’s head, I spread my arms wide. The cool wind tousled my cape and golden hair.

The children looked up at me with surprised expressions. As Su and Shu gave a brief explanation to the villagers about the situation, weapons slowly began to lower from their hands.

I maneuvered the airship down to the vast field.

The exterior of the grand airship resembled a gigantic dragon overall. With wide-spread wings and a long tail, from a distance, it would be easy to mistake it for a real dragon flying in the sky.

There was no time to wait around. I snatched the twins who were running towards us and immediately loaded them inside the airship.

“Wait, our stuff…”

“Seris, that’s too rough.”

“I don’t have time to wait. We need to take off immediately.”

Confirming that the twins were onboard, I set the airship in motion. The golden behemoth soared high into the sky, emitting a storm and increasing its speed.

“Everyone, get ready. The moment we cross those clouds, formidable monsters unlike any we’ve faced will come rushing in.”

After warning everyone onboard, I began preparing magic. The circle of the heart started to spin violently, and two twin dragon swords sprang forth to form an external circle.

As we flew through the clouds, suddenly sensing a foreboding presence, the entire airship shook violently as if an earthquake had struck.

Part of the mana barrier enveloping the airship shattered. And it was the tail section. I shouted as I glared into the hazy clouds.

“Tail section! Monster incoming! Quickly engage!”

There was nothing I could do. All mana control was focused on piloting the airship and pouring breath as a substitute for boosters.

Only the wizards from the Celestial Realm could fend off the approaching monsters.

The wizards nodded stiffly at my words. They too had realized it. The monster that appeared this time was on a completely different level compared to the ones we had faced before.

As the wizards from the Celestial Realm went to deal with the monster clinging to the tail of the airship, a new monster latched onto the exterior. Its tentacles twisted grotesquely, faintly visible through the hazy clouds.

There were more than just one or two of these monsters. Even at this very moment, other monsters approached, aiming for the airship soaring above the clouds.

Su, who had been silently watching, spoke up.

“This time, we’ll go.”

The mana barrier protecting the exterior of the airship disappeared. The path of wind ahead vanished as well, and narrowly, numerous monsters brushed past the tail of the airship.
