Han Shin swore to himself that he would devote his life to them after he saved his grandson. He just needed to go back and give the fruit to his grandson and his life would be for Keiji and Mia to use. 

"I promise to the both of you that I will do anything for both of you even if it causes my life. I just need to get out of here and give this to my grandson. So don't worry, I will bear all the consequences here." 

The leader thought that the three were currently feeling down and he saw that this was their chance to make them lose their fighting spirit so he spat out a few words for them to feel more guilty.

"You killed our companion, you will pay for your sins in hell and it also means you are an enemy of our Silver Spoon organization. We will not let you go you f*ck*ng bitch. You dare kill one of us." He shouted as he sneered in the dark. 

"No R don't listen to them he was just making you feel guilty and tried to break you down so that you will be distracted in the fight. Don't mind his words. " Mia intervened as she knew that the man was just teasing them and making them break down so that they could beat them easily. 

"What!? makes you feel guilty? I am just stating the truth. You are now a criminal, a murderer, and we will not let you go. You will never change the fact that you killed someone. " The leader shouted as if he was angry but deep inside he was feeling relieved as time passed by. Every second passed it means that their reinforcements are getting nearer. He was not a protector of justice because he himself had already murdered someone; he just spoke those words to gain enough time. Because as he witnessed Keiji did not even take a sweat to kill Cody.

"..." Mia was at a loss for words because he was right even if they have reasons and it is just self-defence they would never change the fact that they killed someone. She wanted to comfort Keiji more but she herself feels down with the leader's words. 

"Don't listen to his words. He was a murderer and if you don't kill them you are the one who is going to die. So don't mind their words and be distracted." Han Shin said he was getting nervous because he knew that Keiji was the only way for him to escape safely. He saw how Keiji and Mia fought them and he saw how strong they were.

"It's an alright old man and Mia you don't need to cheer me up," Keiji said with a creepy smile as he looked into the distance. And as if his eyes could see through things it pierced countless trees and stopped in the shadows of a group running towards their direction. 

Mia heard it and she facepalms his forehead. She had been calling Keiji "R" so that they wouldn't know their name but Keiji had just revealed her name. She thought ' How careless you are?' 

But she didn't pay it any attention because she couldn't do anything. Keiji had already said it and she couldn't turn back time. She was now even thinking if Keiji was a genius or not. In her mind, Keiji was rich, handsome, a genius, and a good person. In L.A.R.K academy every student must be a genius so Keiji must be one of those students to enter the academy. 

At the same time, she was relieved when she heard Keiji's voice. There was no hint of weakness in his voice, it was as if he had done nothing. She was relieved but there were still things that kept bugging her mind 

"Ok, both of you let's go, I think they are just trying to gain time. Maybe they have reinforcements coming." Han Shin already senses that which is why he was eager to escape. He was already exhausted and one of his hands was missing. He could only fight one more Cody and will die with the next opponent. 

His only hope was to escape in time. He had already set up his escape base which he had already set up in advance. There were traps and other things to hinder anyone that we're going to chase him. He had also prepared an escape vehicle which is why he was confident to escape but he would never expect that he would get caught.

He then lowered his voice and whispered so that only Keiji and Mia would hear, "Hey, listen to me. We just need to move forward for just one kilometre and we can escape. One kilometre in front is where my car is. I also planted traps so that we can make it before they reach us." 

"Wait! Have you already planned this? You also set up traps and escape vehicles. So are you really a criminal?" Mia became wary of the old man as she didn't know whether to trust him or not. The old man might be using them just to escape.

"No!No! I am not a criminal. I am only trying to save my grandson. This is why I need the fruit of life in order to save his life. " The old man hastily explained and some of his words reached the war of the leader which is why he found another opening in them.

"Don't trust that old man, he killed almost thirty of our members which is why we came to avenge their death," the leader said as he kept trying to make them break down.

"No! Don't listen to him, he was trying to lie and make you my enemy. And ..." Han Shin tried to explain but then his vision turned blurry before it became dark. Then he loses consciousness, his body falls down on the ground. A shadow of a man was standing in front of Han Shin's body. 

This man was Keiji. He hit the back of the old man's neck using the hilt of the sword to make him unconscious. And as he did so he thought ' You will be the main materials of my experiments," as he smiled at himself. 

All of them were shocked by what Keiji did; they would never expect that he would hit his own ally. Mia was even more shocked by what he did, her mouth was wide open as she looked in his direction. 

'What? What happened? Why is the old man lying on the ground?' Countless questions emerged in her mind as she wandered about what happened. 

"..." 

The forest then remained silent for a couple of seconds as the only sound that could be heard was the sound of a cricket. The still surroundings didn't last long after Mia regained her thoughts as she remembered that there might be reinforcements coming on their way. 

But before she moved she asked Keiji first, "R, why did you do that? Why did you attack him?" even at the last minute she was still curious about it.

"That man said that he killed their companions so he might also kill us. And just using us for his safety," Keiji answered as he explained but the truth was that Keiji wanted to make the old man as his guinea pig and wanted to do an experiment.

"But still…" Mia wanted to say something but the leader put more oil in the pan.

"Yeah you did a good job man, now surrender yourself and we will not hurt you. If you listen to us obediently we might even give you a reward," he said while looking at Keiji as the corner of his lips curved upward. 

"R don…" Mia was going to say something but suddenly she stopped and looked in one direction. She didn't say anything but her heart beats faster than what is normally used to. She sensed the incoming people who have a domineering aura and looked like bove a high-level rank. Which means that they are much more powerful than any other person she had fought so far. And even the old man was not their opponent at all. 

She then looked back at Keiji and then the direction of where she sensed those powerful aura. Then she hurriedly grabbed Keiji's hand and started dragging him. She was very nervous right now. The ones they are fighting would already be considered as officials in some top organization. 

Although her talents and power have surpassed theirs, she is still underaged and doesn't have enough experience to fight them. For her, they were so strong that their only way was to escape. She would never even think of fighting with them
