Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

"How was your tournament?" Klyzer asked Mia with a wide smile on her face but then she noticed the man beside Mia and said 

"Keiji" 

Keiji also looked at her and said "Hello!"

Mia was a little bit shocked because she knew her best friend too well she doesn't talk to any man easily without her friends introducing it to her and even those who they introduced where being snab sometimes but now she saw that her best friend talking to a man with a wide smile on her face and she was even the one who initiated to talked or greet.

"Mia, this is Keiji, he is our new classmate." Klyzer said as she looked at Mia and saw the shockness on her face.

"Did you already know each other?"

"Yup we are neighbors." Mia came back to herself and said.

"Ohh!!, that's good to know," Klyzer said while still wearing her wide smile.

Keiji didn't know what to say and just looked at them talk with each other so he decided to wait for them to finish what they are talking about but the two is not so dense so they began bringing Keiji with their conversation.

"So how long have you two known each other?" Klyzer asked Keiji as she walked beside Keiji.

"I knew her two days ago when she..." Keiji said but before he could say his words fully he was kicked by Mia which he dodge swiftly. 

Mia's kick was not so strong and it was just a light kick to keep Keiji quiet but when her kick was about to land at Keiji's feet Keiji dodged it and her foot passed through Keiji and she almost tripped herself when she got out of balance.

She was about to fall when Keiji grabbed her shirt and stopped her fall while her shirt got stretched by Keiji's action.

Keiji's body was not that far from Mia so he could catch Mia in time but instead of catching her to stop her fall he chose to to grab her shirt which made Mia a little angry.

Mia fixed herself and looked at Keiji with a smile but deep inside she hated Keiji a little because it was so clear that Keiji could catch her in time without grabbing her shirt and making it stretch but she still felt gratitude so she said " Thank you!"

"Let's go or we will be late in class and I think Mia still needs to change," Klyzer said as she watched the scene happily.

They entered the school and Mia and Keiji parked their bikes in the parking lot of the school. Klyzer also goes with them and watches them park their back and on the way she chats many things with Mia and Keiji just stays silent. 

Ryle also entered the school and saw Keiji. He was going to call out Keiji and thank him but then he saw that Keiji was talking with someone and that someone was his two classmates which is famous for their cold attitude and their beauty. Ryle went past them and parked his bike but then when he was about to go into his classroom someone called out to him.

"Ryle." Keiji shouted as he saw Ryle.

Ryle didn't know what to do but because Keiji is with the two most famous people in his scholl and he thinks that he was not suited to talk with them but because Keiji helped him he waved his hand at him and walked towards him.

"Keiji," 

"How is it?" Keiji said as he put his arms around Ryle's neck.

"It's good and thank you for what you did," Ryle said as he lowered his head. 

"Don't worry, it's nothing, and don't tell it to anyone," Keiji whispered.

Klyzer saw Keiji and talked to Ryle as if they were friends and this scene made her change her thoughts about Keiji. At first, she thought that Keiji was cold and would have a a hard time getting friends but she understood it when she talked about it with Keiji and told her that he helped Ryle.

While Mia was also a little bit confused because as she already knows Keiji just transferred to the academy and with his his attitude she also thought that he would have a hard time having a friend but she didn't mind it too much.

"Ryle right?" Klyzer was the first to talk and break the silence as they started walking towards the same direction.

"Y-e-es~" Ryle uttered. He was so shy to even answer her clearly as this was the first time they talked with each other although they have been classmates for almost half a year.

Mia and Klyzer saw Keiji's action but they can't help it because they knew themselves that they didn't like talking with others so much and only Ron had the courage to pester them even though they always shoo him away.

Both of them didn't like Ron but not to the point that they hate him. Their cold attitude is one of the reasons why most of their classmates didn't have the courage to talk to them and Klyzer status was also something they couldn't afford to deal with.

Mia was the only friend of Klyzer in this whole academy while Klyzer is also the only friend Mia had. They both love talking alone and reading books and also train in their free time because only Mia can match up to Klyzer's strength and that was the same for Klyzer.

"Why can't you speak clearly?" Keiji really didn't understand Ryle's actions at first but as he tried to rummage through his memories he soon found out the reason why.

"It's not like they will going to eat you… or they will." Keiji imitated what he had read on a certain manhwa. 

Klyzer and Mia almost nod at Keiji's words but when they hear the last three words they couldn't help but think of something lewd.

"What " or they will"? " They both asked Keiji at the same time.

Keiji saw their action and was confused so he checked his reference of those words and saw that the next page was something. 'Ooops!, I forgot that this is not a usual manga.'

"Well, I don't know if you are eating your own kind so… and why are your faces red? do you all have some kind of fever." Keiji teasingly said as he looked at the faces of the three.

The three didn't know what to say (and so the author) when they heard Keiji's face but Klyzer broke the awkward silence.

"Oh, right we will already be late and Mia still needs to go change you two can go first, I'll go with Mia to the changing room." Klyzer said and dragged Mia.

Keiji saw them walk away and also went on his way. Ryle just followed Keiji behind but when he saw that there was no one else in the area he asked Keiji " Thank you but why did you trust me? Aren't you afraid if I reveal your secrets?"

"If you reveal it then what can I do about it. I don't have a particular reason for what I I did." Keiji said as he thought 'Well it's not like you can reveal it, if you even try to reveal it your body will explode before you can even say a word.'

Ryle didn't say anything anymore and just followed Keiji towards their classroom.

They walk inside their classroom and wait for the class to start. And after ten minutes Mia and Klyzer also came into the classroom. Klyzer sat beside Keiji while Mia sat in on the other side of the classroom where her designated seat was.

Klyzer was going to talk to Keiji but Ms. Dollente soon came in.

"Hello class so how was your weekend?" Ms. Dollente asked as she prepared her things on the table in front.

"Is it good?" Ms. Dollente asked and some of the students nodded. 

"Ok, so now we will start our class for today. Because this is now your second term for this year we will have to change your subject." Ms. Dollente said as she set up her laptop and soon a presentation was projected in front of the student.

It was a holographic projection in which Keiji found quite peculiar as it was the first time he saw something like that.

Keiji didn't feel any presence in that projection so he thought 'I really need to be more careful now, humans are really genius they even invented something I can't sense with my power.'

"From this day onwards you will have to follow this schedule so make sure to remember it." Ms. Dollente said as she smiled at them.

"And now you will also have a different teacher and I hope you get along with them." 

"Now let us start shall we?" Ms. Dollente smiled as she said those words and started teaching his students.
