Chapter 16 : Another Servant
"Alice-sama seems to have started moving, doesn't she?"
"Based on my observation, the True Abyssal Dragon Lord that Alice-sama previously fought was a result of the transition from the Monsterland World to the New World."
Currently, ten people are sitting facing each other. In the middle, there is a luxurious-looking table, and each of their chairs is also luxurious and comfortable. These chairs are red, adorned with gold, and incredibly soft and finely crafted.
One would surely feel comfortable sitting there for a very long time, and the chairs are enchanted to make those who sit in them feel relaxed.
However, in this room, there are 12 chairs, but only 10 people are present at the moment, leaving two chairs empty. There's also a large chair at the end of the table and a giant rectangular mirror at the other end.
The giant mirror seems to display the situation of Azaroth and the Abyssal Forest severely damaged due to Alice's battle with the True Abyssal Dragon Lord.
The ten people are engaged in conversation, and the room is quite noisy, resembling a classroom without a teacher.
"So, why does Alice-sama keep so many Origin Skills? She should be able to defeat the True Abyssal Dragon Lord faster using her skills."
"Don't be foolish; Alice-sama is always cautious about other potential enemies that might attack."
"So, then, what is Alice-sama's current goal?"
"Well, she seems to be summoning a lot of undead, so she probably wants to enhance Azaroth or test the strength of this world."
"Very interesting."
"I envy Arina and Aether who were summoned first."
"Hahaha, me too."
"Aren't we needed?"
"Karen, Aurelle, Yuki, your thoughts are shallow."
"You're even shallower, Azazel!"
"All of you, do you feel jealous of Alice-sama's actions? Or do you not approve?"
A stern voice silenced the noisy room instantly. It was like a teacher scolding unruly students in class.
"We are all servants of Alice-sama, created with the purpose of being her companions, protecting her, and serving her faithfully."
"Alice-sama has not summoned us yet, but she will call us all in due time."
"Don't you all know that Alice-sama can only summon one servant at a time? We don't know if such a rule applies in the New World. But I'm very confident that Alice-sama can summon us simultaneously."
The resolute voice provided a lengthy explanation, like that of a knight who had been through many bloody battles and had lost many comrades.
"Isn't that right, Exypno?"
"Absolutely, Arcturus."
"We just need to be patient and wait for our turn to be summoned. The time will come when we will all serve Alice-sama and make her a living legend."
Everyone listened in silence to Exypno's words, but they all signaled their agreement. They are all 12 servants of Alice, and only 2 out of 12 have been successfully summoned by Alice to assist her.
"Our current task is to use this mirror to analyze and share our opinions among ourselves regarding Alice-sama's future goals, the reasons behind her actions, and more."
"I agree!"
"I-I do too."
Everyone agreed with Exypno's words, and they began to continue their discussion.
"So, first of all, have you all prepared your analyses and reports on why Azaroth moved from the Fiery Mountain Valley to the center of the forest?"
Everyone nodded, except for one person who appeared to be fast asleep, as if indifferent to what was happening. This person is Alice's strongest servant, equipped with the inheritance of Alice's guild friend and unreal stats.
There is a possibility that they are stronger than Alice, but they are still Alice's servant.
Exypno had no issue with it, as the strongest servant had sacrificed their intelligence and intellect to be transformed into combat abilities. They could only perform simple tasks: attack, destroy, defend, protect, and hunt.
Exypno was a demon woman who always wore a white suit like a professor with an open collar. Underneath, she wore black clothing with a red tie. It could be said that she was the professor.
She also had six tentacles that looked like her tails, although these tentacles seemed to have very sharp ends and appeared to be made of metal. Exypno was the smartest servant among the others, followed by Arina, Aether, Azazel, and Arcturus.
The rest had average intelligence.
"Good, now give your reports, starting with Yuki."
Yuki was the only servant of Alice who had a human race. However, she was not a normal human; she belonged to a vastly different race. Before reading her report, Yuki stood up from her chair.
"Well, in my opinion, before Azaroth and Alice-sama were sent to the mysterious world, it was quiet. The Fiery Mount area was also very desolate."
Her voice sounded firm and authoritative. It was empty, devoid of emotion, and flat, like someone who had killed a lot in their life.
"Neptune-sama and Astolfo-sama were the last ones to see Alice, at least around 6 hours before being sent here, and they both returned after being absent for months."
"Neptune-sama and Astolfo-sama are close friends of Alice-sama, so it's unlikely they have any connection to this case."
"Furthermore, according to my hypothesis, there might be a player using a God Item to move Azaroth."
"That's all from me, thank you."
Exypno remained silent after Yuki's report; she didn't dispute it as there was a possibility like that.
"Next is Aurelle."
Aurelle was a succubus, the best support, and the best debuffer among all of Alice's servants. She only had medium-level attack magic, and most of her magic was buff and debuff.
Aurelle stood up from her chair, but her posture seemed less than upright.
"In my opinion, Alice-sama has become too bored with just hunting monsters, collecting items, and gathering materials all this time. So maybe she's doing something grand, something we don't know about, to move Azaroth to a new world."
"In other words, Alice-sama wants entertainment! Pleasure! Something new!"
"That's my report, thank you."
Aurelle was a high-level succubus, so her thoughts were limited to matters related to sexuality. However, she was very useful in group battles and weak in one-on-one combat.
Exypno nodded, understanding Aurelle's intent.
"Next, Azazel."
"Yes, Alice-sama's old world is already in ruins and no longer worth ruling. Alice-sama wants a fresh world, a new world to conquer, and in my opinion, it's very reasonable."
They all eventually presented their reports one by one, and the majority of them agreed with the statement that Alice had a goal to achieve in her new world.
The source of these thoughts was unknown.
They all agreed that this might align with Alice's plan for a fresh, ideal world to conquer.
However, some suggested that this might be the work of a God Item, anomalies, or something similar.
Exypno listened to them all and noted every crucial point from all the Servants. Thus, she came to several conclusions.
"Alright, I will read out some key points."
"First possibility, this is all Alice-sama's plan. Alice-sama desires a new, fresh world, an ideal world to rule."
"Second possibility, this is the work of an enemy or monsters. Whether it's a God Item, another player, or World Monsters."
"Third possibility, it's due to a natural anomaly, causing Azaroth to be sent to another world."
"Fourth possibility... Alice-sama is destined to be the ruler of this world."
One of the Servants raised their hand and asked, "Did Alice-sama ever mention ruling a world before?"
"Of course," replied Exypno. "Alice-sama said something like this."
Going back to a few months ago when Alice was still in the Monsterland game.
In a room, Alice and Neptune, who were close friends, were chatting. They were communicating through text messages within the game.
"Neptune! Have you read the new novel that was released?"
"Which novel?"
"The one about ruling the world."
"Ruling the world? You like novels about ruling the world?"
"Of course, that novel about ruling the world is fantastic!"
"Ohhhhh! Really? What's the title?"
"If I recall correctly..."
Back to the present.
The room was instantly filled with intense excitement after hearing Exypno's story.
"What's that novel, Exypno?"
"Novel is a book that contains plans."
"Ohhhhh!!!!"
"So, it means, the Novel about ruling the world is a planning book about ruling the world?"
"Yes! Exactly!"
"Our task now is to observe, analyze every event displayed by this mirror, and wait for our turn to be summoned."
The strongest Servant, who had been asleep earlier, suddenly sneezed and woke up, looking around.
"Hmmmm?"
The Servant was very confused because their friends and comrades were very enthusiastic right now.
However, they went back to sleep.
The room was then filled with noise and the fervor of the highly enthusiastic Servants.
Currently, in the midst of a barren and desolate land, Alice stood, gazing at Azaroth filled with undead creatures engaged in construction work.
But suddenly, she sneezed, feeling like someone was talking about her.
"For some reason, it seems like someone is talking about me," Alice rubbed her nose.
