Chapter 20: -Chapter 18-
-POV Tywin-
As I entered the city, I was surprised to see no more beggars, nor garbage, the city seemed to have been cleaned, of all the shit it harbored in the past, it still smelled of piss and shit but less, much less than before.
I was escorted by the new army of Eddard Stark's bastard, the White Dragon Army dressed all in black, the so-called grandson of Aerys, the mad king who was once one of my closest friends.
Once we reached the Throne Room, the doors opened and in the throne room I could see many lords, in fact, there were far too many lords, I didn't think anyone would really believe the nonsense of this kid but it seems to be the case and not just a little.
The Targaryen Loyalists are really desperate they even accepted this bastard no matter who his father is as king just to see us dragged through the mud and rise themselves and their house.
It's pathetic
The bastard had the audacity to laugh in my presence and he said:
"Lord Tywin Fucking Lannister, I am deeply honored"
"I'm sure that's the case," I said, advancing confidently with a straight and proud back like the lion I was.
"What is the purpose of your visit?" he said, looking at me with a small contemptuous and teasing smile.
"Don't play the fool you… Hmph," I tried to say before feeling a searing pain in my leg.
-POV MC-
He couldn't finish his sentence because Jonothor hit him with the wooden part of his spear in the knee to make him kneel.
"It is customary to kneel before THE king," said the giant in a cold and brutal tone.
"Jonothor, what are you doing? Tywin is our most honorable distinguished guest," I said, greatly exaggerating.
I continued by gesturing to a servant holding a bowl of bread and salt to come forward while saying, "He must not be harmed, he is under my protection, give him bread and salt, we are not barbarians and we will not kill our guests"
Jonothor nodded his head because he knew like everyone that it was just a show to assert my superiority.
I said this time to Tywin who had stood up on his own pushing away any help: "You have arrived just in time because today will be the trial of your children, as well as your grandchildren, sit next to Lady Olenna who joined us recently"
He looked at me with a flame in his eyes, but was silent and went to sit next to Olenna Tyrell, I guess he had been tempted to attack the capital but I knew what he cherished most was the legacy of his House as well as his own legacy and I held all his descendants in my hands so I had full control over the situation... at least for now.
Once they were seated next to Olenna Tyrell they both looked at each other and turned their eyes away after realizing the powerlessness of both to watch the entrance into the throne room of the prisoners and culprits with Renly at the head of the pack, followed by Cersei, Jaime, Tyrion, Loras, Varys, Pycelle, and the entire Royal Guard.
I stood up and spoke loudly so that everyone could hear me: "We will begin by hearing the crimes of each, and then I will give my sentence, let's start with Sir Barristan step forward"
The latter did as I ordered but I could see no guilt only acceptance.
"You have served the usurper faithfully, while he almost annihilated the entire Targaryen House what do you have to say for your defense?"
"Nothing your majesty I have served faithfully all the kings I have sworn to defend," he said.
I narrowed my eyes pretending to think while I had already decided his sentence long before meeting him.
"Your majesty…" my uncle said who still had his Hand of the King pin to the right of my throne: "…I think Sir Barristan is a man of honor and has always been honest and loyal he is a man of rare quality"
I nodded my head and then said: "I know, that's why I grant you your freedom, I declare you innocent of all the crimes you have been accused of and I hope you can honor me with your service just as you once protected my family"
He nodded his head and knelt, he swore loyalty and then a man brought him his new armor, black armor with a three-headed red dragon sculpted and painted on it with a white cape, the new armor of the King's Guard.
"So who will be next?" I said pretending not to know who to choose I hesitated before pointing to the one I wanted to see die most "Varys!! Come forward, everyone says that you are the worst traitor that this kingdom has welcomed, that you have poisoned the mind of my grandfather are these accusations true?"
"No your majesty, of course not, I would never have done that, I have always been a fervent admirer of your grandfather…" he stopped talking because he felt a grip on his throat and he looked at me I had my arm stretched out my fist semi-closed as if I was squeezing an imaginary throat and I said:
"You know, I don't know if you are a traitor, if you really participated in the madness of my grandfather or even if you are innocent of that, but what I do know about you is that whatever happens, I can never be sure that you will be on my side, I know that you will not serve a king you will serve your own interests until you no longer need the king you serve and that... is unacceptable"
Craack
I finished my words by making a gesture with my hand and his neck twisted at a 180° angle, he didn't fall right away because I applied such strong pressure with my other hand with my telekinesis that his neck became pulp and separated from his body
His body fell dead as a piece of wood while his head floated in the air with his spine still attached to his neck, highborn ladies screamed and I saw fear in the eyes of many knights and lords, I even think I saw Tywin Lannister shiver.'
