Chapter One Thirty The High Command
Anai blinked the harsh light out of her eyes. After a moment she realized she was in the medical bay. Glancing down she could see a device penetrating the nipples of her breasts, which looked swollen. She wanted to touch them, but was still restrained so she didn’t bother testing the restraints. Anai wasn’t supposed to move while they were working on her.
A face entered her vision and smiled, “Morning captain. How are we feeling?”
“Fine?” she replied with a question.
“No pain in the breasts? Or a feeling of pressure?”
She shook her head, her boobs felt fine. Larrisa produced a needle and pushed into her left breast, which stung a little. “How about that?”
“That stung a little,” she replied.
“Seems your boobs are doing well then. I’ll need you back in the evening for more work.”
“Sure,” she replied as the restraints were removed and the device released. A moment later she sat up and began to feel her breasts. They were definitely swollen and red, but they weren’t tender. They looked like they should be tender to the touch, but strangely weren’t. “So may I ask what you have been doing to my breasts?”
“Nope. Reyna’s orders.”
Anai smiled, “Of course, so how long have I been out?”
“A few days, you weren’t needed. We are almost home free now, so you might want to get dressed.”
“Noted,” she replied as she collected her uniform, noticing that her bra wasn’t present, “No bra?”
“Reyna said you aren’t to wear bras anymore.”
“Fine by me.”
After dressing she glanced at the other biobeds and noted the same three females on the beds. She didn’t pay much attention to what was being done to them, before leaving the room and heading for the bridge. She passed a number of crewmen on the way up, all of them female. She knew she had men on the ship and it was a bit odd for none of them to be in the hall. All of the girls were also naked, likely for ease of access to their body or something like that.
Reaching the bridge she stepped up to her chair to find Reyna’s naked form lounging in it, while her officers were focused on flying the ship. Unlike elsewhere they were wearing clothes and she spotted the usual male faces were here. Reyna smiled when she saw her, “Hey Anai! Enjoy your nap?”
She nodded, “I did.”
Reyna evacuated the chair, “We are almost to our destination. I’m going to head down and check in with Larrisa...” said Reyna as she quickly moved to fill her in on the important stuff.
Two hours later, Anai stepped off the ramp and onto her docks. She was quite surprised to learn that the high command was currently at this starbase. One of the high admirals was even here to greet her personally. The woman in question approached a guard discreetly shadowing her, “Commander Anai Tomis, congratulations on making it back despite the odds.”
“I’m afraid we lost Telna.”
“There wasn’t anything we could do there. If anything, you getting that fleet back was a small miracle and I’ll take any minor victory we could get.”
“I am glad to hear they made it back.”
“Walk with me please.”
She nodded and followed in the direction indicated as they started walking down the dock. For a moment no one said a word. The silence seemed to stretch on forever until she decided to break it, “If I may ma’am how bad is it?”
“I presume you mean the war?”
She nodded.
“Bad, but we seem to have been granted a brief reprieve. For how long we don’t know but for whatever reason after they took the core worlds of Telna, Mirak, and Seridis they stopped advancing.”
“I see,” replied Anai.
As they turned out of the docks, the admiral said, “Regardless we have had problems because of the attacks. The fleet is in disarray, we lost a lot of good people and the populace is understandably concerned. Nothing you need to worry about,” she sighed, “I’m sorry this comes on the heels of such a disaster and your loss but I am promoting you to the rank of flag captain. You deserve it and we need talented officers like you.”
“Um, I’m honored, Ma’am,” said Anai. It was quite the jump but given what happened at Telna it was to be expected. The rank was also expected of an officer in charge of a ship like the Yuras.
“Don’t be, as soon as your ship is ready to fly again I’ll be sending you out on a mission. We need to find out what the menace is up to and as the only captain to successfully escape them, your name came up high on the list of candidates for the task.”
“Understood sir, I presume that means we won’t be getting any leave?”
“Afraid not, we have a shortage of hands. What personnel are available will be arriving at the dock soon. Some of them will even be replacements for your lost officers.”
“I’m sure my Chief Medical Officer will want to see them right away. She likes to make sure all the medical stuff is accurate and up to date.”
“Sounds like a good officer. Anyway, we also have a few upgrades for your ship and not a lot of time to work. You’ll be leaving port by the end of the week.”
“Understood ma’am. I take it you want to get us out there before the aliens start moving again.”
“You catch on quick.”
They stepped into an office and an aide promptly handed a pad to the admiral who in turn gave it to Anai. “These are your official orders. Expect the first crews and parts to arrive in an hour. I’ll leave you to get your ship ready.”
The admiral headed deeper into the office and she, taking the dismissal, turned to leave. Once in the hall, she quickly used her communicator to get the ship ready for the new arrivals. Along with sending orders to get started on the repairs. They only had a week and no more.
Ruyi smiled to herself as she stood in the lobby. Her first few days as a princess had proven remarkably fun. The nurseries were filling up with cute little girls, the twins were thriving and while Auntie was still being chilled pending her processing she was doing good too.
The facility was also fully converted to its new function. Gone was the old hospital and in its place was a proper place for the processing of female units and the creation of new babies. More importantly, she was about to meet another Princess, her chosen mentor was due to arrive soon to help instruct her further on her duties. She wondered what the other girl would be like. Ruyi didn’t know much about her, other than the other girl’s duties. Her selected mentor was in charge of the older children and their care.
A moment later, the door opened and a younger woman came into the room. The first thing Ruyi noticed was that she wasn’t Titari. The girl stood a head taller than her and wore an outfit similar to hers. A silver bra, paired with silver panties trimmed with a light blue. Attached to the panties was some thin elegant cloth that formed a fancy skirt that looked quite cute on her. Her ears were sharply pointed and she observed the room with bright purple eyes, but Ruyi couldn’t help but notice her red-tinted skin. Her long black hair was kept neatly braided.
A smile graced her lips as she came in the door, “Hello my dear. Ruyi I presume? It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”
She nodded, “Um nice to meet you too, um?”
“Y-229, but you may call me Yia.”
She smiled, “Yia, that’s a cute name.”
“Well why don’t you show me around? I’ve heard you have a pair of twins you like?”
Her smile widened and she happily showed Yia to the nursery. Showing off the twins felt like a great idea. They were so cute!
Upon reaching the nursery Yia walked through it without sparing the other girls so much as a glance. She quickly found the twins and picked up 15, “Oh you are so cute!” Yia quickly snuggled the girl eliciting giggles from the infant.
Ruyi smiled, “That’s fifteen, she had a name but the collective...”
“Revoked them as is proper but they will get new ones when they are ready. 15 is so cute, may I have her? I’ll take good care of her!”
Ruyi panicked, “What no! She’s!!!
Suddenly Yia was giggling, “I was just joking, but I wouldn’t mind taking her home with me every once in a while. It would be nice having one so young around.”
“Right, you get to care for the older kids, what’s that like?”
“It can get dull at times, fresh young prospective princesses are the most fun.”
“What about the young drones?”
“They are drones,” is all she said.
Ruyi frowned, not sure what to take about that, while Yia turned all her attention to the twins. The other girl soon had both of them giggling at her touch. After a bit, Yia finally spoke up, “They seem really nice but have you increased their rations yet?”
She nodded, “First thing I did. R23-G had the others reduced a bit to support it.”
“You should have theirs increased more. Princesses like these need lots of milk. The drones can get by on less if required.”
“I guess that makes sense, but I don’t want them to starve.”
“The drones are pretty good at making sure the young get what they need. Just make sure they know they aren’t to starve and they will adjust as needed to keep them healthy. While also making sure the twins are fed to the higher standard you set.”
“Oh, I guess I should order more milk for them then.”
“Well you are still new, so you didn’t know and R23-G is no substitute for a proper mentor. On a different note, how is infant production going?”
“Really well, the nurseries are really filling up, but I can’t help but notice a lack of boys. Speaking of boys, no one told me where the boys went. Only that they were moved to another facility to await processing.”
“Some of them, others were likely corrected. The collective generally considers females more valuable, but males are often used as either warrior or worker-class drones. They are well suited to the more dangerous tasks. At the moment the collective wants far more females than males, we have a surplus of required units.”
“I guess that explains why we are making girls.”
Yia nodded, “So about taking 15 here home with me?”
Ruyi blinked, “No!”
“Oh, don’t be like that. It will only be for the night.”
That didn’t sound as bad, but she quickly shook her head. She wasn’t sure about letting the twins out of her control. They needed her!”
Yia looked her in the eyes, “Are you sure it’s just one night.”
“Um, maybe if you show me your facility?”
“Sure, but only after I’ve had a night with fifteen.”
Ruyi chewed her lip and then her shoulders slumped, “fine.”
Yia cheered, “Yay! Hear that fifteen you are coming home with me tonight!”
