Forging an Empire
Now that the universe knows of my existence, it’s time to start setting up an empire! I kinda wanna try something different.
I teleport out of the Milky Way, away from where the tyranids are. I make sure I’m just barely inside the influence of the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way.
Time to get creative, mothafucka!
I start off by creating an earth sized planet. Then, I shrink said planet down while keeping its mass the same. It gets smaller and smaller till it’s the size of a U.S. penny, and then, it gets even smaller… Suddenly, the small marble begins to shake violently.
Without warning, the planet suddenly, almost instantaneously, turns into a small black hole.
Could I have created a black hole by itself? Yes, but why do that when you can be all fancy?
Anyways, I add some mass to the black hole to increase its size. Not enough to affect the Milky Way, but enough to have a decently sized orbit.
Then, I create a shit ton of stars to orbit around this black hole. Then, I create an even bigger shit ton of planets to orbit said stars.
Most of the planets in this dwarf galaxy are habitable. So, I’m gonna do god stuff.
I wave my hand and send out little spores of life throughout my little galaxy. As these spores hit planets, they evolve into complete ecosystems rapidly. I wave my hand again and send out a wave of pure earth magic. This creates gigantic cities across every planet, some planets become ecumenopolises, some become more sparsely populated planets, and some become ruins.
I wave my hand again and create the same winged species I always do. But this time, they’re able to fly in the void of space all by themselves.
If you’re gonna be in an over the top universe like Warhammer, may as well go over the top as well, right?
Each and every individual of this species is at least S-rank. They’re also heavily militaristic, and worship me like humanity worships the emperor.
The capital world is going to be a Birch World, a hyper structure built around a supermassive black hole. So like Coruscant from Star Wars, but much bigger. It’s the center of the mini galaxy I built.
Orbiting around it are two star-sized planets that are gigantic, immovable warships called Planetcraft. Unlike the empire, I’m not scared of AI. So, a lot of the planets are run by sentient AI beings powered by abyssal energy. This energy makes them immune to any corruption by chaos.
Each system with colonies in them gets a Planetcraft to guard them. The Planetcraft are equipped with warp-inhibitors, making any attempt at warping to their system directly difficult for even the best navigators.
There’s also what I’m calling a Bastion system, which has multiple uses: weakening enemy shields, blocking most enemy radar, making enemy missiles lose tracking, and causing enemy engines to slow down.
They also work as the system’s main space port. The system’s main defense forces will be stationed in them.
Next, we have the ships. From smallest to biggest, we have Gunboats, Corvettes, Frigates, Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships, Carriers, Titans, Juggernauts, and finally, Colossus.
I’m not just gonna spawn an entire navy on my own, I’m gonna get the people of the Abyssal Imperium to do it. It’ll give them some more familiarity with the ships. I did do the designs, though.
The gunboats aren’t REALLY military, they’re more for system security, but they will be utilized by the military. Like a sort of cosmic Coast Guard, but less military.
The corvettes are fast, maneuverable, and plentiful.
The frigates are a bit more armored than corvettes, and take up more of a defensive position than the corvettes, defending against missiles.
The destroyers are probably gonna be the poster child of my military. They’re fast, maneuverable, armored, and pretty big. They have three large sized guns on them, each capable of firing independently of one another and delivering payloads that would put even the largest of ships out of commission.
Cruisers are pure defense here. Anti-missile, anti-fighter, anti-personnel. Like your homophobic uncle, they’re anti-everything. They can shoot down well over ten thousand missiles, and several hundred ships at the same time.
Battleships are the big bois. They carry weapons capable of dealing the same amount of damage as a weak SSS-rank. So, planet destroying.
Carriers are self explanatory, they carry fighters, bombers, any vessel smaller than a gunboat, really.
Titans, on the other hand, are like a battleship and a carrier put together. They have weapons that easily destroy planets, carry millions upon millions of troops, and can even carry a few dozen corvettes if need be.
Juggernauts are planet-sized ships that basically house almost an entire earth's population (in 2021) of troops. They act similarly to the Planetcraft, disrupting enemy ships and everything, but they’re actually mobile. They have enough space to carry two titans, thirty carriers, one hundred fifty battleships, seven hundred cruisers, fifteen hundred destroyers, ten thousand frigates, and eighty thousand corvettes. So, an entire armada.
They have twenty X-rank guns, five hundred SSS-rank, and the rest are too weak to say. They’re so massive that they have their own gravity naturally. Of course, it’s weaker than earths, but we can supplement that with gravity generators.
In total, each Juggernaut carries solar-system killing amounts of ships, billions of troops, and basically an entire planet’s worth of weaponry.
I implant the designs into the brains of the various shipbuilders of the empire, and go to my temple at the northern pole of the capital. I haven’t thought of a name for the capitol quite yet. Maybe some inspiration will strike me?
(gimme names, brain no work)
