Chapter 1392: Paying Respects On Behalf Of The Husband

When the Faceless Other King's furious cries vanished, the surging worldly natural energy within the Treasure Domain gradually calmed down. Qin Baiyan, Li Jiluo, Li Qingpeng, and the rest of the experts from the numerous powers were elated to see this. With the Faceless Other King retreating, it meant that their dire predicament had been resolved!

They let out cheers of joy as they realized they now had a new lease on life.

At the same time, they sent looks of respect and gratitude towards Tan Tailan.

"I've destroyed one of its crowns, so it has regressed by a whole stage. If a Heavenly Emperor doesn't take action to help it, the Transcendent power I've left behind in its body will forever inhibit any further advancement," Tan Tailan replied.

Li Luo heaved a breath of relief. Destroying a crown was perhaps the most crippling injury a King could sustain.

"However, since it's already set its eyes on you, we truly can't let it off this easily." Tan Tailan's voice changed and her eyes flickered with silvery light, seemingly capable of piercing through space itself.

"The Faceless Other King's life-preserving methods might be impressive, but my space resonance can be considered to be its bane."

She was able to faintly make out a wisp of gray light hiding in the void, attempting to escape at an unimaginable speed.

However, she didn't take action.

"The Origin Reversion Institute's schemes run deep. There are many other chess pieces that have been put into play. There must have been a co-conspirator, and I'll use this frightened mouse to root out whoever it is."

Li Luo clicked his tongue. It seemed he had underestimated his mother's abilities—her intention was to use the Faceless Other King as bait.

"Mother, you are amazing!" Li Luo flashed her a thumbs up with a look full of admiration.

"Let me destroy the black lotus and prevent the Tri-Pupil Enigmatic Fetus from descending with another Fetus. Furthermore, your grandpa..."

When Tan Tailan said those words, she paused slightly and didn't continue. She quickly flew towards the ninth-grade black lotus that was rotating in the air.

The black lotus gave off a bizarre air and emanated energy fluctuations of the King Stage.

When she appeared, the black lotus could sense how strong she was, and the pale arm that protruded from the center of the lotus immediately shot out a blood-red ray of light towards her.

Tan Tailan was unfazed by the black lotus' puny attempt to defend itself, not even removing her hands from the pockets of her coat. The piercing blood-red beam of light suddenly fell apart a hundred feet away from her, transforming into a smelly, bloody water that splashed onto the ground below.

When the bloody water landed, the gigantic mountains that protruded from the earth were instantly liquefied into stinky pools.

Tan Tailan tapped with her finger, and the Heavenly Throne swooped forward through the air, crushing down towards the black lotus arrogantly. The black lotus wailed and the whole world shuddered. Each of its petals burst into flames as it attempted to resist the onslaught.

However, the Transcendent Heavenly Throne's power was simply terrifying. Even the black lotus that gave off undulations of the King Stage was unable to resist.

As it was suppressed by the throne, the void began to distort and crumble. The blazing black lotus was gradually grinded into mere fragments.

As a last-ditch attempt, it shot out countless beams of blood-red energy in an attempt to escape.

Unfortunately, the entire area was in Tan Tailan's grasp. Space rippled and distorted, transforming into countless spheres controlled by space energy. The beams of blood light were sealed within.

She waved her hand, and all of the spheres began to compress, eventually shrinking into the size of a black dot. With a simple poof, all of the corruption-tainted blood energy vanished. At this point, the black lotus was completely annihilated.

With the black lotus' demise, the blood-red pillar of light that shot towards the World's End River also began to dissipate.This also meant that the Other Dominion that had once trapped everyone was no longer trapping them. They were now free to leave the Treasure Domain.

In the gap in the World's End River, the humongous eye showed signs of anger.

Just a thought from it caused the World's End River Region to shake, as if the land itself could sense the eye's fury.

A Grand Devil King on the level of a Heavenly Emperor truly had the power to completely destroy the World's End River Region if it chose to do so.

The bright side, of course, was that the World's End River acted as a barrier, and even a Grand Devil King was unable to cross it casually. It would experience great difficulties even attempting to do so without an appropriate summoning artifact.

Tan Tailan completely disregarded the Grand Devil King's might as she raised her head and casually spoke, "Grand Devil King Tri-Pupil Enigmatic Fetus, the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent does not welcome you. Please go back."

The giant eye rotated, emitting a frightening sound. It then squirmed violently as it attempted to breach the World's End River and pass through the gap forcefully.

Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e looked at Li Jingzhe with eyes full of worry.

Li Jinpan and Li Qingpeng hurriedly rushed over, also looking concerned.

Li Jingzhe's bamboo staff was sitting across his knees and his usually cold face looked gentle.

There was no trace of the indifference he always displayed when talking to his children.

Tan Tailan also made her way over. The relationship between her and Li Jingzhe was a little special. After all, he didn't like her all those years ago and had always blamed her for Li Taixuan's actions.
