A life with the Author

What are you?

[3rd POV]

It was cold.

That was weird because it was summer in Korea.

The silence prevailed and became the biggest thing that occupied the room. They felt the silence choking their lungs, halting them from taking a full breath.

"That's weird. Am I in a dream?" Yuito said as he slowly dragged his body towards the kitchen where Mandeok Bang was cornering Tsukimi.

His footfalls became the only sound and movement as everyone else stilled and watched on. Their eyes and instinct fought.

They felt danger yet their eyes refused to believe that it came from an injured man.

Mandeok observed with rapt attention as Yuito slowly walked towards him. Then when he was close, his instinct screamed and his giant body moved into action.

He pivoted on his foot and threw a straight punch at Yuito. His hips snapped around and his feet spread to form a boxing stance.

His incredible strength which he possessed since he was young was pushed to the absolute limits. His 300 kg body which was mostly filled with muscles added a devastating momentum and force behind the punch.

His fist pushed through the air, already creating a gust of wind even before it landed.

Yuito on the other hand, fell forward and his face was falling directly at the fist with untold strength behind it. His bandaged body was limp and he was hit right at the face.

His body became loose, almost liquid like water.

A hypnotic blue mist seeped out of his body, literally visible to the naked eye. Then his whole body spun around in the direction of the punch.

Force destroy only when it met with resistance

So Yuito did not resist. Instead, he allowed the force to travel through his body and he adjusted himself in a way that directed the force to where he wanted, his right hand.

Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. Yuito applied the technique to create something akin to Shaori from Baki.

Yuito was swept off his feet and his body spun around. He continued to fall forward and as he did so, he threw an uppercut at the jaw of Mandeok.

All of the force his body had experienced was redirected to his right hand which was balled into a fist. His body was like a conductor of force.

Yuito's fist met Mandeok's chin and a loud shockwave declared the end of the exchange. Everything had happened in the span of two seconds.

*BOOOOOMMM!!!!*

An explosion, like the sound of a cannon being fired, and it was followed by the vivid sound of bones breaking which made everyone wince in phantom pain.

Mandeok's 300 kg body was knocked off its feet as he flew into the air. His neck cracked and his jaw broke as his body fell backwards like a dummy.

Then his back hit the ground with a deep thud that declared the end of the short conflict. The winner was Yuito.

"Ouch." Yuito said and he shook his broken hand. Punching anything with such force was not something his body was ready to do just yet. His fingers were cracked again now.

He looked away from his fallen opponent and then his eyes landed on the beautiful girl with red eyes in front of him. Her black hair was long and as silky as he remembered

"Hey." He flashed her a smile.

One that made her feel more emotions than everything that happened combined. She returned his smile, trying her best, hoping its just as bright and lovely as his.

"Hi."

"Thanks for taking care of me all this time." He said and rubbed the back of his head, oddly awkward.

But their small interaction was cut short as Mandeok suddenly sat up. Like a zombie waking up from the deep clutches of death.

"Go to Vivi!" Yuito said and Tsukimi obeyed his words on instinct. For as long as she could remember, she had always been following his lead. A year could not change such a habit.

Tsukimi ran past everyone and headed towards the stairs which would lead to the floor above. She would go to Vivi and hide until Yuito had dealt with the situation.

He still had not fully recovered but Tsukimi knew that he would not have a problem dealing with Eugene and his bodyguards. She had been around enough fighters to know so.

"Yuseoung! Follow her!!" Eugene yelled as Tsukimi ran away.

His twin brother - and bodyguard - was about to follow but he stopped on his track and quickly returned in front of Eugeen - just in time to catch the fork which flew at the speed of a bullet towards the centre of his eyes.

"You will do no such things if you don't want your brother to die." Yuito said and the whiff of bloodlust coming from his voice made everyone believe his words.

Eugene in particular was shocked and his eyes hardened, The fact that he and his bodyguard were twin brothers was not publicly known. So how did he know that? Have Tsukimi told him such things?

Yuito brought one of his legs up and executed a hammer kick aimed right at the crotch of Mandeok who was still sitting on the floor - his head dizzy from the uppercut.

"GUAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" Mandeok screamed as Yuito's foot made violent contact with his family treasure.

"Sorry big black man, all is fair in love and war." Yuito said and in a split second, he bent his back to the limit as Yuseoung flew past him with a flying kick.

"Whoa there, be careful now. You are fighting a patient." Yuito said and pointed at his body which was still bansaged up. He was only wearing pants but his torso was covered with white bandages.

Yuseoung did not heed his words and shot at Yuito again. He was smaller and speed was his forte. So he tried to capitalize on that advantage and rushed at Yuito at a speed a human body shouldn't move at.

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yuseoung's body froze for the briefest moment and then he pushed himself back, running away and abandoning every plan he had of attacking Yuito.

An invisible attack.

He can't see it.

He can't hear it.

He can't feel it.

But it was there.

He moved back just in time to avoid Yuito's invisible kick. But as the kick missed, Yuito's foot grazed the cap he was wearing and kicked it away.

"You dodged that? Impressive." Yuito said as he looked at Yuseoung whose face was revealed.

He looked just like his brother Eugene but there was the widest smile on his face. His smile was so wide that it almost split his face and his gums and his cheeks were also bleeding out due to how much his lips stretched.

It looked extremely creepy.

Yuseoung was not a normal child.

Ever since he was young, he was a prodigy and barely showed emotion other. The only time he showed emotions was when he fought strong opponents.

But unlike other people, Yuseoung would smile when he despaired. He would smile wider the more trouble he was in.

And now he had on his face, the widest smile in his life yet.

"Yuseoung.." Eugene muttered from behind with shaky eyes. He had never seen such a smile from his brother.

Who?

He recalled the file he read when he arrived here. It was a detailed medical record of Yuito and his supernatural body. In the end, the doctor concluded that Yuoito could not be a normal human.

Just what is Yuito Fujita?!
