Eugene meets the main character
[3rd POV]
"Eugene." Tsukimi said in a voice that could be called almost sweet yet it was anything but.
Her eyes immediately scanned the surroundings and it took her less than a second to find all of her security missing. He had likely sent them all away as he had the authority to.
That meant she had to call for people who obeyed only her and not Eugene - her executives. She reached for the switch at the side of the door and turned on the lights but while doing so, she also pressed the emergency button that calls for her executives.
Such buttons were located in every power switch and she hid her action by turning on the normal lights as well. The already bright room became a tad bit brighter.
"It really is you." She said, as if she got a clear look now under the bright light.
"I see you haven't slept well these past two days." Eugene said when he saw her action and the small bag under her eyes which seemed to drag down the beauty of her ruby eyes by a tiny bit.
"Is it because of him?"
"I have been busy." Tsukimi said. She was buying time. She hoped her executives would come soon because things might get messy.
Eugene laughed, "That's not what I heard from our clients and the officials. They haven't seen you for the past two days so I assume you are busy with something else then."
"They did? That's strange. Tell me from whom do you hear this from?" Tsukimi asked to keep him talking as she went to the kitchen.
She moved slowly, like a person in her own house would and she took a glass before filling it up with some tap water.
That was not why she went to the kitchen though as she reached under the kitchen cabinet where the knives were. She also hid a military knife along with the kitchen knives.
She reached for them but there was nothing.
She paused.
"I hope you realize I was the one who gave you the funds to build this house. I am aware of the way it was built and how the devices are put up." A statement that did not answer her question. But responded to her actions.
So he had been here for some time now and had time to prepare. He put away all of her weapons and also likely deactivated her alarm that calls for her executives.
Right then, two people walked out of the kitchen carrying multiple self-defence weapons she had hidden in her house, including pepper spray, air guns and other arms.
Welp, she was fucked. She mused to herself.
The people who walked out were the official bodyguards of Eugene. Yuseong, who was the twin brother of Eugene and Mandeok Bang. They were the sword and shield of Eugene.
Tuskimi turned around, "Hi Yuseong." She said with a sweet smile towards the twin brother of Eugene. He was a special kid with a disability, he had the mental maturity of a child even though he was a prodigy at fighting.
He also liked her since they were in high school. So she was hoping for something she could use.
But she got no reply. it was serious enough that the childlike Yuseong did not reply to her. She felt a lump in her throat as beads of nervous sweat appeared on her neck.
"Now then, with that out of the way let me get to the main point." Eugene said and pushed back his glasses, "I honestly don't care about what you do with your lover boy but I need you to hand over Vivi and Xiaolung."
Tsukimi could see a familiar light of heartbreak in his eyes even through his stoicism. She knew how it felt all too well and at this moment, she did not like that.
Xiaolung and Vivi were currently in the guest room which was located on a floor above them. That meant that they had only checked this floor and did not expect them to be in this building.
"I will ask again for the last time President, hand over the daughter of the billionaire and her bodyguard Xiaolung." He said, his tone an octave higher.
"No," She said. How could she simply hand them over when Yuito had fought so hard for them?
..
..
..
"Okay." Eugene paused, "Get her."
Mandeok Bang started approaching Tsukimi. He was a black man standing at 7'6 feet tall and weighing roughly 300 kg. Each step he took seem to sake the foundation of the building as he towered over Tsukimi.
"How the fuck are you eighteen!" Tsukimi said with a nervous smile as she quickly picked up different objects from the cabinet and threw it towards Mandeok.
She threw glass cups, plates and flower pots at him. The objects merely bounced off his wide chest and broke as they fell on the ground.
The sound of glass breaking filled the house and if one observed carefully enough, Tsukimi was only throwing objects that should break at him. Whether it was a coincidence or because she hoped fragments would get into his eyes was unknown.
Tsukimi finally took up two steel lids of frying pand and clashed them against each other. It made a loud noise that pierced the ears.
"HYAAAAAAA!!!" She let out a scream and swung at Mandeok. He caught both her arms with minimal effort.
"Stop fighting back, it's meaningless," Mandeok said and he looked down at her.
"I am not fighting back." She said with a smile.
???
Then everything fell into silence. Perhaps it was because of the loud and noisy ruckus she was making previously but the silence was oddly heavy.
Then they all heard the sound of a door opening.
"What's with all the noise, damnit." A voice came from Tsukimi's room and someone with bandages covering his entire body limped out.
"I'm thirsty."
Yuito had already made a recovery and was simply sleeping due to the exhaustion.
Now he has woken up.
She smiles. Both out of relief that he has woken up and because of the certainty of her safety. In her short euphoria, she felt a little naughty as well.
"No!! Please just kill me instead. Don't do 'that' to me." She screamed like a helpless maiden. It was obvious acting but in his delirious state, it sounded real to Yuito.
Eugene and his bodyguards looked at her with clear confusion. Was she crazy?
Tsukimi had known Yuito since they were kids. So she knew that other than a paedophile, the people Yuito hated the most were big black men who forced themselves on the heroine in an NTR doujin.
But maybe that was a bit much because bloodlust filled the place.
