[You know you are cursed now?]

"Am I? ", Severus tried feigning ignorance.

Noworry was irritated. [You know you had already been cursed once in the chamber of secrets and now again you are cursed. Do you even know the consequences you would be facing? So many times, I have warned you, but you just don't listen. What am I going to do with you?] Noworry chided Severus.

A warm feeling surged in Severus' heart. For the first time in his two lifetimes, someone had actually cared for him. This genuine concern truly touched Severus' heart. He didn't reply and just nodded his head in acknowledgment of whatever noworry was saying.

When noworry noticed Severus' expressions his heart ached. He lost all the anger which was pent up inside him and just snuggled close to Severus' head.

[Punk from next time onwards just listen to me. Okay?] Noworry asked kindly.

A smile appeared on Severus' face and he enthusiastically nodded his head.

[Now let's head back. I have several questions for you Severus]

"Okay"

Severus started walking with noworry perched on his shoulder. Severus was walking through the woods when suddenly his hand brushed against a tree trunk. The tree that was touched by Severus was a desolate tree. With no leaves on it, only the dry branches could be seen. It was a gigantic tree but without any leaves. It truly gave a gloomy vibe.

Severus instantly removed his hand. He just encountered an evil ghost, and his experience was not too good. He didn't want to experience another encounter with ghosts. However, he was too late. Just as he started walking again, green orbs started flowing in the air.

Severus was awestruck with it however noworry kept his vigil.

"What the hell!! Not again", Severus cursed.

[Shut up! It's not an evil ghost. I can sense energy. It's a tragic ghost vibe] Noworry spoke.

"A ghost is a ghost, no matter whether it's tragic or evil. I just don't want another encounter with them", Severus argued.

Noworry gave him a side eye.

Noworry felt that it was bothersome to argue with a child so instead, he just kept quiet while examining his surroundings.

Severus saw that Noworry was not speaking so he too kept his mouth shut.

The green orbs took a shape and a figure of a girl appeared. The girl had long hair reaching to her waist which was brown in color. She wasn't a stunning beauty but had her own charms, but Severus was least interested in girls, much less ghost females.

"Sigh, a ghost again and that too a girl", Severus spoke with a sigh.

The ghost just smiled at his comments.

"Speak. Why are you here? Do you also want to kill me?"

The ghost frowned after Severus' answer and quickly shook her head in denial. Severus felt weird or to be specific this ghost was acting weird.

"I am here to thank you", the ghost spoke mildly.

Severus frowned and spoke," Thanks? What did I do? I don't know you. Perhaps you have mistaken me for someone else"

The ghost again shook her head.

"No, no I want to thank you only."

"EH! Thanks. But for what?", Severus was truly puzzled. He glanced at noworry for some hints but that arrogant bird just shrugged his wings.

Severus"...."

Damn!!!!!! You only know how to scold me. Severus bashed noworry in his mind.

"You killed the evil spirit. Thank you very much", the ghost girl said humbly.
