A Failure's hopeful Journey

The surrounding people gradually fell silent. You Zhichi turned her head to look towards the guy who approached her and she said with a poker face: "Mister, I do not dance with strangers. Everyone in the banquet wanted to see how he would deal with this matter. Soon, council elder Xue arrived at their table and saw You Xi Wang holding his son's arm. You Xi Wang snorted: "Are you going to say it all or should I? But if I am the one who needs to explain your deeds, what use does your tongue have?"

You Xi Wang's words were torturing and Xue Jingshen blurted out everything truthfully from how he got drunk and how She Congming encouraged him to ask You Zhichi for a dance to how he was enraged at her refusal.

Council official Xue lost his temper and slapped his son so hard that he fell down on the ground spitting blood. This slap shocked every one guest they did not expect Council official Xue to be this fiery. Council official Xue was a respected person, and he hated people being disrespected towards women, he said in a cold voice: "You waste of space apologize to lady You and I might lessen your punishment when you get home, if Young master You allow you to."

Xue Jingshen did as he was told and apologized to You Zhichi, but You Xi Wang has still not decided if to let him go. You Naixin came and stood next to him and whispered something in his ear which made a smile form and he nodded to her, he walked up to the kneeling Xue Jingshen and helped him up and said in a friendly tone: "Xue Jingshen, my sister is my life and if someone has schemes against her, I will make them feel the torment they cannot imagine, but this time you were only used by She Congming as a borrowed knife. I will let you go, be careful whom to befriend and whom to fall out with."

Xue Jingshen departed with his father and sincerely thanked You Xi Wang, who asked Council official to end this matter here.
