The Last One Was Not A Slap…
“Liliana, what is the meaning of this!? I passed down orders that his heretic was to be disposed of!” The King yelled out.
“Father I….” Liliana wanted to ask why he was giving out such orders. But before she could, Tomoya stepped forward.
“For a man who knows I was summoned. Who knows, I fell down a deep, dark hole and came back alive. You have a lot of guts playing king.” Tomoya smelled a faint stench. Which meant half the men in this room or more were dead. “Sir priest, must also know that the king before you is no longer alive but just an undead puppet. Eri really pulled a fast one on everyone, didn’t she.”
“Tomo, what do you mean? What did Eri do!?” Suzu cried out. Eri was her good friend. She could not see her doing anything wrong.
“Eri is in love with Kouki, and the damn fake god probably had some demons talk her into taking action. She is a little crazy. You might not have realized it, but she is. Suzu, think about it. If I were about to die and you could save me by giving up your life, what would you do?” Tomoya wanted Suzu to understand the state of mind Eri was in.
“I would save you, of course….” Suzu replied without a single hint of hesitation.
“Then tell me if I did not return your love. Would you be able to stand it?” This was the key point that Tomoya was trying to make.
“No…. I think I would go…. I see. But why? Eri can do so much better than that idiot!” Suzu did not understand what was so good about the idiot Kouki.
“Hell, if I know. His childhood friends do not even want him. So it is beyond me.” Tomoya replied. She also did not want to harm Eri. She was a bit crazy, but she was doing it because she was being toyed with. She had lost her mind to power and the fact that she loved Kouki to the point of obsession.
“I want to talk to her….” Suzu bit her lip. She wanted to hear the reason from her friend's mouth.
“Then you will not need to wait long. Since if she does not come out, I will destroy not only this castle but the entire continent if she doesn’t step out from behind the throne.” Tomoya said as she flicked her finger, and the top portion of the throne blew off. A soft yelp could be heard as a girl tumbled out from behind it.
“Eri!” Suzu yelled out and went to run forward but was stopped once more. “Tomo, let me go see her!”
“Hold on for now. I promise you can talk to her, but not until I make sure it is safe for you to do so.” Tomoya replied while giving Suzu a warm smile. She then disappeared and arrived next to Eri.
“What are you doing? Get away from the king!” A soldier yelled out but was quickly stopped by Ryutaro.
“Stay put.” Ryutaro did not wish to kill anyone if they were still alive. He had no way of telling, so he could only warn them to back off.
“Ryu, he’s dead already. Do what you need to do.” Tomoya yelled out as she picked Ri up by the arm and looked her right in the eye. “And you need to cut the act already. Your necromancy may be amazing, but you are by no means able to do a damn thing while I am here.”
“You! Why did you return!? Why didn’t you just die at the bottom of that…”
*Slap!*
“Shut up!” Suzu suddenly appeared next to Tomoya and slapped Eri across the face as hard as she could. “Do not ever say such things about my Tomo!”
“Suzu…” Tomoya raised an eyebrow. She never expected Suzu to slap Eri.
“You hit me!? For this bitch, you hi….!?”
*Slap!* *Slap!*
“Ummm… Suzu, the last one was a backhand, not a slap.” Tomoya scratched her head. She knew this would not turn out well but this was worse than she thought. The poor girl’s face was swollen like a pig. Suzu was at a much higher level than Eri right now. So this was just bullying!
“I know! But no one is allowed to call you a bitch! My wife is no bitch!” Suzu snorted. She then looked at Eri and asked: “Did those slaps wake you up? How many people have you killed and enslaved with your necromancy? Just how many people need to die for you to get what you want? You love Kouki, right? You love him so much you could kill for him!? I understand that very much because I would do the same for Tomo. But…. Eri, these people are innocent, and you listened to some bullshit that was spewing honeyed words into your ears. Did the demons or the fake god contact you?”
“You know nothing! Why can’t Kouki be mine!? Why does he always look at others but not me!? Why!? Why!? Why!?” Eri’s crazed filled questions echoed through the throne room.
“Ummm… I hate to tell you that even by doing all of this, you will end up with nothing. After all, Kouki went nuts and was taken away by some secret boss.” Tomoya words were like a bucket of cold water being splashed all over Eri. She turned her head like a robot and looked at Tomo with wide eyes.
“Who? Who took him!?”
