The Villainous Bosses Mentoring System

Chapter 50 - Kaka (1)

Chapter 50: Kaka (1)

Full of food and drink, Xi Yun and the other elementary schoolers reluctantly left the shop.

Su Tian walked with them until they crossed the street. She watched until they were very far away, but she could still hear them talking. They talked about their upcoming birthdays, improving on tests, and how they would they would make their moms bring them back to the dessert shop. They very confidently and smugly said that if their moms said no, they would cry until they agreed.

Su Tian smiled at the sight before returning back to the store to help He Qingwan clean up. When she picked up the dish Xi Yun had used, unexpectedly, there were hundred-dollar notes stuck underneath.

Su Tian felt angry and amused all at once. The naughty child must’ve been afraid of giving money to Ms. He, so he hid the cash under his plate. Although the person was small, his methods were deep.

Su Tian picked up the cash and counted it. In total, there were $1200, just enough for all the children who ate that day. No wonder Xi Yun kept looking at the menu while he ate.

She passed over the money to He Qingwan. He Qingwan was bewildered for a second before her face broke out into a smile, “This child…”

However, this time, she didn’t have Su Tian go return the money. This small child was so resolute, even if she brought it back, he would never take the money back.

Instead, they’ll just take more care of the child in the future.

To be honest, the amount they take care of Xi Yun now is not little, either. Xi Zhiqiang basically comes back home only in the morning, so except for breakfast, Xi Yun ate lunch and dinner with He Qingwan.

Putting that aside, He Qingwan and Su Tian often went shopping for clothes and shoes for the child. None of the child’s current clothing fit him – if they weren’t too large, they were too small.

As she watched He Qingwan put away the cash, Su Tian suddenly thought of Xi Zhiqiang: “Mom, don’t tell other people Xi Yun gave you so much money.”

He Qingwan: “I know, I won’t mention it… but where did Xi Yun get so much money? I heard the kids talking about school uniforms, is it related?”

Su Tian: “Maybe.”

He Qingwan made Su Tian promise to tell Xi Yun to properly take care of his money and not waste it on things like this.

Now that they were done with the noon rush, He Qingwan just had to prepare the desserts for tomorrow. Knowing she couldn’t help, Su Tian returned home.

Just after turning out of the staircase, Su Tian saw Xi Yun sitting on the steps of his house with his schoolbag. His mouth was dry and he didn’t know what to say.

Seeing her, the boy suddenly got up and yelled out, “Jie Jie!”

Su Tian opened the door and entered the room, Xi Yun following her in while carrying his backpack.

After his first visit when Xi Yun didn’t change his shoes after entering their house, He Qingwan bought both men’s and children’s house slippers for Xi Yun. After changing his shoes, Xi Yun carried his bag to stand in front of Su Tian.

“Jie Jie, can you do me a favor?”

“First, tell me what the favor is.”

Su Tian had him sit down before pouring two cups of water, one for each of them.

Xi Yun dragged over his schoolbag, looked at Su Tian, batted his large, round eyes, and sweetly asked, “Jie Jie, help me hold onto something, okay?”

Su Tian coughed and, not holding back, pinched his cheeks.

As they became closer, Xi Yun learned how to act spoiled and cute to ask for favors, like he was doing now.

This twelve-year old, future richest man, hasn’t even hit puberty yet. Because he ate so much in this house, he became a lot plumper, and his face was bright and energetic. When he batted his eyes, it was unbelievably cute.

Su Tian pretended to be strict: “What thing is it?”

Xi Yun struggled as he lifted his schoolbag. When he opened it, he took out a bundle of hundred-dollar notes.

Since he was just twelve, he couldn’t open a bank account. This much cash, unlike a few hundred yuan, was just a hot potato waiting to be found. His father, Xi Zhiqiang would definitely find it, and when that happened, he wouldn’t even be able to keep a single cent to himself.

After thinking and thinking, he decided that Su Tian’s place was the safest.

As for whether Su Tian would just take and keep the money, Xi Yun didn’t even think of this possibility.

Su Tian pretended as if she hadn’t guessed what was happening, asking: “Where did you get all this money?”

After she heard Xi Yun’s story, she wanted to kneel in front of this twelve-year old boy. Is it true that the ability to make money is a talent you’re born with?
