Chapter 90: Supreme Existence
Outside of Lord Fredor's castle walls.
Heinald was waiting with the rest of the crew beside Tisha's airship. This airship was half the size of the airship he had traveled before. He also wanted to own such an airship in the future, but even a small airship was worth tens of millions of Arkana Stones. He had no choice but to forget this dream for now.
"We are going!" After saying goodbye to Lord Fredor, Lady Tisha came to join her team. So everyone got on the airship and started to settle into their rooms.
It would take them about a month to reach Ruthas Academy. During this time, he would continue to brew potions inside that airship. That's why one of the biggest rooms was given to him. Before they left, Lord Fredor had given half of his stock of ingredents to his daughter.
Of course, that wouldn't be the only pursuit for Heinald. He would continue to work on the runes he learned and would try to create a perfect pattern of the spell called Divine Chaos in his mind. If he had time left, he would also think about creating a new Spirit Potion formula.
Days began to pass quickly.
In addition to his daily pursuits, Heinald also had the opportunity to get to know Renshi, Lork, Durkus, and Plon better. Although these four Ainsars were experts in various subjects and were trained at the Ruthas Academy, they envied Heinald. Especially after these four Ainsars got to know him better and saw his ability to brew potions, they realized that with his talent, he could easily enter the academy.
Although they were an average of 20 years older than Heinald, they did not specialize in a particular branch as much as he did. Especially in a difficult branch like Potion Brewing. Moreover, he had managed to become Grandmaster Albin's apprentice, which was undoubtedly something many young Ainsar dreamed of.
By the end of the first month of the journey, the Grandsky Hills were beginning to appear. Ruthas Academy was built on and around these hills.
At first glance, Heinald thought they were in a small city, but it wasn't. At the top of the hills were large, white buildings. There were many houses and shops on the slopes and lower sides of the hill.
Tisha said there were still two days before the planets align. Two days later, when the planets align, the dimensional gateway would activate.
"We're finally here!" Risha sighed without energy as he looked down at the Ruthas Academy.
The journey had not been boring for Heinald, as he had various occupations. However, for others, the journey became boring after a while.
As the Airship approached the academy, the shape of the clouds above began to change.
"What the hell…" Heinald watched the event in amazement.
The clouds above took on the head shape of a man with a long beard. Lightning began to emerge from the eyes of this head figure.
"Damn geezer Orion! Stop playing games, you know it's me!" Tisha shouted from the deck of the airship.
"You know, pretty lady... Safety is important." The head figure laughed.
"It's nothing to worry about, the academy's head of security, Mr. Orion, is his usual jocular demeanor. Since he's in control of the security formation, he often makes bad jokes."
Plon explained the situation when he noticed the puzzled look of Heinald standing next to him.
Heinald nodded and thought, "When that head figure first started forming, I felt a very strong Magical Energy, probably hundreds of times more than I felt in Fredor's castle. If an enemy tried to trespass this formation..."
As the clouds began to return, the airship began to descend into a clearing in the hills.
Meanwhile, Heinald was able to clearly observe all the areas where the academy was spreading thanks to his eyes. Most of the Ainsar he saw around were quite young. The older ones were most likely mentors.
This academy was only accepting promising and young Ainsars. Thus, they knew that if they faced a dangerous situation in the future, they would get help from many talented people educated there.
When the airship landed, two Level 2 Ainsars welcomed them below. They imposed a Blood Agreement on Heinald that if he got the Aenarath's Sunstone he would hand it over to the academy. He had already predicted that this would happen, he quickly completed the process. Moreover, when they learned that he was Albin Redsand's apprentice, they wanted to put him through the Potions Brewing test, but he refused because he was not yet interested in the academy. After returning from the Starlight Realm, he had to go to Albin's side and fulfill his responsibilities as his apprentice.
If they managed to complete Albin's multi-effect potion then he would get the grand prize from him and then he would take the tests of Ruthas Academy.
For now, he had other things to deal with.
Heinald encamped with the other Level 1 members of the crew until the day the planets align. As the time approached, his excitement increased even more. He hoped to gain important uderstandings about the principles of space during interdimensional travel.
When the time finally came, around midnight, everyone gathered in a large garden at the back of the academy buildings. Now only minutes were left for the planets to align, and everyone was excited.
"The elder of the Academy will be here soon!" Renshi excitedly whispered to Heinald, who stands next to him.
"Who is the elder of the academy?" Heinald asked.
"He is master Alveron Highsworn, a Level 4 Ainsar." Renshi answered.
"What!? Level 4 Ainsar?" Heinald had a hard time believing what he was hearing.
The elder of Ruthas Academy was a Level 4 Ainsar!
A Level 4 Ainsar were beings who ruled in the most powerful clans or families. In the time of the Ancient Ainsars, a Level 4 Ainsar was only considered little above average. However, at the current time, a Level 4 Ainsar represented the pinnacle. There would be no one who would want to offend or tease them. They were powerful enough to destroy entire cities in a matter of minutes.
Heinald thought of Alveron Highsworn, he had not heard of this person's name, but he had heard his family name. Highsworn family was known as the second most powerful family in the entire continent. The wealth and power they held in their hands made them an unshakable authority. There was no family or organization that would want to be hostile with them.
At that moment, a crowd was seen entering the garden. At the forefront of this crowd was an old man with a long staff in his hand. His hair was long, a mixture of silver and gold. He wore a long and large hat on his head. He was wearing a long and stylish purple robe. This man had blue eyes and a crooked nose. But what stood out most about him were the two black orbs swirling around him. Intense Dark Energy waves were emanating from both of these orbs.
Tisha lowered her head and called to her team, "Master Alveron is here. Everyone pay respect to him!"
At this, everyone bowed their heads and did not even dare to breathe. Especially, Heinald was seeing the great Ainsar Alveron for the first time. Even as he concealed the energy emanating from him, there was an unspeakable pressure all around. If he didn't hide it, everyone there would probably feel like hundreds of thousands of tons of weight were put on them.
Heinald had encountered Level 3 Ainsars before, they were one of top rankings in power, and even the energy emitted from them alone could cause a Level 1 Ainsar to be unable to breathe. However, a Level 4 Ainsar was a very different existence. In front of them, even a Level 3 Ainsar would feel like a poor ant.
This was because there was a huge gap between the two different power realms. The gap between Level 1 Ainsar and Level 3 Ainsar was many thousands of times less than the gap between Level 3 Ainsar and Level 4 Ainsar.
"If this Aenarath's Sunstone is so valuable, why would Master Alveron go alone and not take it?" Heinald had asked himself that question. Undoubtedly, if he were gone, he would be able to capture Aenarath's Sunstone in a short time and bring it back to the academy. Even if he faced resistance, he was undoubtedly strong enough to overcome it.
Heinald would ask that to someone later.
Alveron Highsworn stared at Tisha's team for a while, then nodded slightly and said, "As you know, Aenarath's Sunstone is very important to our academy. It's not just because of its value, no, it's also about the reputation of our academy. So , if you can bring it back I will reward you all munificently.
"Being rewarded by a Level 4 Ainsar…" Even Heinald's imagination couldn't quite designate what rewards an existence like him could give them.
In the middle of the large garden, it was surrounded by stones that radiated a strange energy. In the center of the circle were strange runes and symbols that Heinald had never seen before. He examined these symbols carefully, after all they were runes on a dimensional gateway.
