CHAPTER 144 **I’m Sorry**
Sahara woke up groggily, feeling familiar arms wrapped around her and she turned around to see Matthew sleeping beside her.
He unconsciously put his hands tighter around her, making her smile, and she looked at his furrowed brow.
Putting a finger to his forehead, to try to smooth out the tiny line that was appearing, Sahara sighed, “Must be working hard.”
As she went to move her finger down his nose, her stomach made some noises and she stopped.
“Hungry, my dear?”
She looked up to Matthew, who still looked tired and gave out a small smile.
“Ha, well, I feel like I haven’t eaten in ages!” She said, snuggling closer to him while hiding the slight embarrassment to her face.
Times like this seemed to be hard to find lately and it was quite the predicament. Wanting food and wanting to cuddle, seemed to be both very important at the moment!
“You slept a long time, do you feel any better?” Matthew asked, kissing her forehead.
“Mmm…” Sahara mumbled, then stole his lips with hers.
There was no fight in Matthew to stop the kiss, as he kissed her back and started to take control.
Snuggling even more into him, with her big belly poking into him, Sahara felt uncomfortable and still not close enough to him.
Pulling back from her, Matthew smiled and moved her onto her other side, facing away from him. Putting himself right up against her, he said, “Mmm, now this Prince can eat.”
Rubbing his hands gently over her luscious body, making her feel the heat from his hands, even as they left, Sahara let out a moan.
Soft kisses had started on her neck, then slight sucking as Matthew got to her earlobe and took it into his mouth.
Sahara wasn’t aware of how her movements seemed totally sexual to Matthew, as she moved her hands over his and pushed her bottom into his lower region, that was getting extremely excited…
Hearing him let out a small grunt, she felt him move her clothes away, so that they were no longer distanced by two pairs of inner clothes.
The world didn’t matter, the people didn’t matter…Nothing else mattered to them besides that bed and themselves. Their heaven was a satisfying place that didn’t have any worries. They completely loved each other with no walls.
It was far from the first time that they made love, yet it was always so satisfying and completely full of passion. Their feelings had not subsided at all, no, they had only grown, grown to a point that they hardly needed to speak to each other anymore, like they could communicate telepathically.
Sahara knew what he liked, what he loved and what toppled him over the edge. She liked it when he forgets everything else but her, it was extremely satisfying!
And Matthew couldn’t seem to ever get enough of the beautiful person before him, knowing that their heaven was indeed something to be envied off! He treasured her and loved every bit of her, like there possibly won’t be a tomorrow…
Breathing heavily, both Sahara and Matthew stayed together, not wanting to remember the rest of the world.
Sahara put her hands over her hidden, little man and sighed.
With her relaxed state and habit of patting her man with spiritual essence, she felt even better. She had never realized or understood that the child within a womb could grow to be tense and stressed, until she had received the story of the past. Yet, it seemed that her pats made a great deal of comfort for her little man and with that herself in return.
All her family was right here…
Matthew placed his hand over hers, “One life time is not enough time.”
“Mmm…” Sahara turned her head towards him, giving him a slow kiss and then pulling back, “Even two isn’t enough time.”
Matthew smiled at her, thinking that it was a good response.
You’re right, two lifetimes with you isn’t enough!
Pushing himself into her again, he felt her hand go to play with his hair.
For another short time, neither of them spoke…They didn’t want to get up and leave this bed. They didn’t want to see anyone else and have to do things, to help some situation…
And…To a certain degree, Sahara still had no idea how to tell Matthew what was going on with her.
She was…Procrastinating…A bit…
Besides, sex was a lot more interesting than the end of the world!
Letting Matthew take her once again, Sahara could only sigh in satisfaction and defeat…
Finally, both Matthew and Sahara got out of bed!
Sahara cleansed both of them, so that a bath was no longer necessary. But it wasn’t the end of their little heaven get away, as Sahara dressed Matthew and Matthew dressed Sahara. It had become a routine now to always say good morning to his son, before covering him up properly and safely.
Sahara would only take the same amount of time, because she was simply admiring how handsome he was…Matthew could only feel proud and let her do so!
As he combed Sahara’s beautiful fluffy hair, Matthew knew that even though they had woken early, that it would be definite to say that a few people were already waiting for them, to see what kind of ‘evidence’ that Sahara had.
“I will show you. As I don’t know how to explain it.” Sahara said suddenly.
Matthew frowned, “Show?”
“Mmm, I will show you and a few others what happened here. Then they will know who the rebels are and will be able to keep an eye on em or whatever.” Sahara waved her hand lazily.
Matthew didn’t know what to say. To show something from the past was not something she had learnt to do prior to now.
“I know! But now I can do everything! Well, I can do a lot more…” Sahara had started excited, but then remembered the rules and ended up a little deflated…
Sighing, Matthew finished her hair and they left to find the others…Who were indeed waiting for them…
Walking into the room with the long table that they were in yesterday, hand in hand and an annoying attitude of not caring as much as them, Prince Seth frowned.
Matthew wanted to take Sahara to be seated, but instead, she went and closed to doors, bluntly telling a person to get outside of the room.
People watched as she returned and took Matthew’s hand again, “I will need you to connect to me, even if it’s through another who is connected.”
She thought of networking and computers all of a sudden, but the others in the room ended up doing the same as Prince Seth and frowned.
“Just hold hands, or I’ll show everything to everyone separately and I don’t want to do that!” Sahara stated in a huff.
Finally, people started to get up and gathered closer to Matthew and herself. Reluctantly, hands were taken up and now there was a circle of people connected.
Prince Seth, the General, Joshua, two confidants and Matthew and herself…
“Close your eyes…And take note…” Sahara stated, as she closed her own eyes.
Telling the spiritual essence to go easy on them, so that they didn’t feel as much as what the people went through, she then let the memories go through those who were connected to her.
From seeing Steven being attacked, to seeing the rebels start to take over Purple Haven, each and every one of them were in shock.
It was so vivid and real, that they felt like they were stuck and had no choice. They even felt like what a woman would feel like to be taken by force, rendering them utterly speechless.
For the victims, it was saddening to a point that they felt a bottomless lake swallow them hole. That the world was against them and that they needed to survive…But, feeling the utter want to take over, as the rebels had felt it, was also there. Both the ups and downs, the tragedy and victory…It was…The strangest thing that any of them had ever felt before.
Most of them watched, not thinking too much at all. Feeling and seeing everything speechlessly and in complete astonishment to this power…Yet there was a couple that took it all to heart. They noticed people’s faces, what their crimes were…They also noticed those faces that had been frightened into becoming rebels, whom had been loyal…
When the scenery showed that they had shown up from being teleported here, and a few glimpses of the ones who had been running around or what not ended, silence continued inside the room.
Seeing all of what happened, with their own eyes…How could this be explained?
Sahara sighed, trying to think of the best possible way to let them know. “The spiritual essence…The spiritual essence showed you.”
Opening their eyes and looking at her ludicrously, Sahara tried to continue, “It is a true type of being, you saw a few people’s spiritual essence narrate this to you. Not only does the spiritual essence like a higher ranked cultivator to be the master, but it also dislikes being abused. The spiritual essence that you saw the story of…It is wanting change!”
Sahara felt like she shouldn’t have gone this far. Perhaps the human population would be better off not knowing that their fate hangs by a thread…
She had no idea though if she even gave that away or not, with that small sentence of ‘It is wanting change’.
She wasn’t even completely sure if that was deemed as selfish or not…Was she doing the right thing or the wrong thing?
It wasn’t like she hadn’t seen the ‘end of the world’ type of movies or shows before, so she knew it would bring epidemic panic to the majority of the humans but…How in the world could she keep this entirely a secret anyway!
Dammit, not only am I not good at explaining this type of thing, but I’m also no good at keeping secrets!
Shrugging and breathing out, Sahara just knew that she wasn’t crossing any kind of line at the present, by saying what she just did.
“What…What do you mean!?” Panic came from one of the confidants in the room and Sahara looked at them with no worry at all in her face or eyes.
They waited for her to say something, but in the end…She didn’t know what to say, she hardly knew what she meant…It seemed even more confusing to her, now that she had said this out loud!
Shrugging once again, Sahara said, “I’ve shown you what I intended to. Now I want to see Steven and heal him…”
Sighing in her heart, Sahara knew that she will most likely go into some kind of pain again soon, for expending so much effort.
Walking to the door, she opened it and looked back at Matthew.
He was still very much thinking about what just happened and so Sahara went back to him and gave him a quick kiss, before disappearing.
It was all up to them now…

Sahara healed Steven and so he was back to being healthy once again. She found herself unable to fight the pain off from showing the past earlier any longer and once she took her hand away from Steven, she was falling to the floor.
Steven caught her, not that it would have been far, as they were already seated, but he could not bear to see any harm come to her.
Being awake again, and now healed, Steven felt like he was way too much trouble for her. He had let this rebellion happen, while she had been away…He felt like he should be punished, that he should be exiled from Purple Haven…
But even though he felt this way, he did not say a word. Since his most precious friend was still here, then he was only going to keep it to himself, so that he could stay with her just a little bit longer.
Picking Sahara up in his arms, he started to walk towards the place that she normally stayed in…But halfway there, Naruto quietly stood in front of him and Steven couldn’t help but think of the poor, little fox that had died for him the day before.
It had been the fox that he had raised, cuddling it for an entire day…
He knew it…
Steven was then glad that no other foxes had come to try and save him…As, how could he become the reason for Naruto to die…He then became thankful…
Did Naruto blame him for the death of his brother?
“Arf.”
A fast shape made its way to Steven and was suddenly upon Steven’s shoulder, standing proud and looking as though he was keeping watch.
After a short few more moments, Steven continued towards the home, to put Sahara to bed…
Standing there, Steven waited for Naruto to go to Sahara, but he started to walk down his arm, making Steven raise his arm for him.
Seeing the little beast stop for a moment, he watched as Naruto came back to his shoulder and snuggle into his neck.
“I’m sorry.” Steven said to Naruto, giving him a pat.
He doubted Naruto understood, but Steven felt the wetness of the fox’s tongue against his skin.
And then he was gone and off to Sahara…
A very small smile briefly went onto Steven’s face, before it vanished. He still felt terribly bad, that a fox had died because of him, but it seemed that Naruto didn’t hate and blame him for it.
Even though it looked like good news, Steven still felt bad…
Unable to stay longer at present, he left…Left the whole area.
Over the space of his small time in seclusion, Steven found himself unhappy and grateful at the same time…He also concluded that he just needed some time…That…The little fox that he had held for an entire day…Had meant more to him then he had originally thought…
